After much practice and gearing up I have been able to dominate my opponents including the controversial shaman. I am not using all the runes you suggest but what I am using is working surprisingly well even against competent pvpers. However I have not been on SOD for the past two weeks because phase 3 is dead, my guild stopped raiding and everyone is waiting for the next phase. Thank you for your warlock guidance it is very much appreciated.
Fellow warlock player here, played from original vanilla them classic and then sod since p1 warlock and great gameplay and pvp skills. If I may suggest one tip usually when I cast fear and I see that it will be casted without any interrupts I immediately put the pet on follow so that it does not break it to early and then when I am set up I send the pet back in. ✌️

I'll normally instant spellstone the silence. For that reason, I normally use arathi trinket to prevent homo pushback. Instead of the magic penetration trinket, I'll start with CoS. But so far, I am losing like 60 - 70% of the time, just the out range, and COT has been nasty. When there was a 50% damage Nerf, I lost 15 games straight cuz he'd just kite and hard dispel UA, which barely broke a shield.
What's the macro you use so your pet targets and kills totems? Also, for Shadow priests, I noticed your duels you showcased, the spriests most of the time stayed close either the whole match, or that last spriest you faced most of the time would come in SOMETIMES. My question is, if you have hommunculi on you, the eye of the void hitting you with curses/shadowbolts, and the spriests just stay max range and dispelling/dotting, is there a certain strategy to dealing with this scenario? That seems like my biggest challenge that I can't seem to overcome.
Only the last priest in my clips seemed to be doing this and had a chance. Try always to close the distance and get him in chain fears. I dont use macros to kill totems, i dont even think they work, as they didnt work on classic tbc/wotlk. So i just manually click.

When you talk about fighting the paladin and you say "you want to trinket the HOJ right away" -- yeah don't trinket if he's bubbled. You're not going to kite him, he's going to have full uptime on you. There's no point to trinket a HOJ when you can't do anything to him inside of his bubble.
Even with this, u can have some tool to break distance. For example (Nifty Stopwatch or swiftness potion) Or u can just chag a health potion (if openworld pvp) Cuz in real Duel paladin will never connect to you :)
"I drop low again" meanwhile him at TEN HEALTH!!! One serious question, why do you not use Shadow Ward against the priests and Warlocks? I find that using Shadow Ward gives me a nice chunk of time to get an un interrupted fear off when against shadow priests. Plus it absorbs the damage. Also i find that using Howl of Terror against rogues and paladins is very nice. Howl -> Charge -> Fear -> Death Coil -> Win. against like paladins and warriors and rogues.

I feel like paladins are a very strong opponent for sl locks in this phase. Its impossible to beat them without UA since they can cleanse anything, also their bubble, lay on hands are hard counters on dots and their damage is very high when they reach you, cause they will cause of their movement speed hoj and repentance. They have so much health they can dispel UA without a threat. If they know what they are doing it's a very tough fight.
I disagree, they cannot cleanse anything while chain feared, coiled or pet stunned (if u use felguard) check my other videos m8, I have soo many clips of me killing paladins. Just kite out / demonic grace dodge the bubble phase and otherwise keep them feared.

I feel like the buffs you get from felguard aren't really worth it but I must test it out first. Key is getting priest into chain fears
I usually use spellstone for silence effects and spam dispel defensively to remove dots as they are applied.

You're definitely one of the better/best pvp players. You think to highly of classic players, most of them are sub-human.
First shaman with 50% dmg reduction took all your mana. Insane idea Blizz had with that 😆

usually felhunter, i consider it overall better in BGs. Also UA is good in BGs

you are right, shadow ward is super strong against those and i usually use it. just not in these videos i guess. check my others

I feel like paladins are a very strong opponent for sl locks in this phase. Its impossible to beat them without UA since they can cleanse anything, also their bubble, lay on hands are hard counters on dots and their damage is very high when they reach you, cause they will cause of their movement speed hoj and repentance.
