I have a Girson in 10mm. I slightly reprofiled the locking surface on the slide stop to get it to lock and release properly. Rounding that corner on the slide addresses the same issue from the other side. No problem with lockback/release in the next 7 magazines.
I enjoyed the evaluation. Curious how you reconcile actual improvements in reliability due to normal break operation of a new gun vs improvements brought about through parts replacement? It seems to me the real test would have been to put a few hundred rounds through the new gun before evaluating the reliability.
Everybody has mixed reviews but in a real gun fight nobody cares where thr brass goes. I was in thr millitary and in combat nobody was thinking about where the brass went. As long as it function and fires in basic conditions it should be a great weapon for protection. High point included i know people with reasonbale guns that are better than have the name brands out. Its a new day new manufacturers are making better guns for great prices.
