Has there been any extended round count barrel, frame, and other parts analysis/inspection when using +P or even 147 gr, 9mm ammo? Although I only recently acquired my 2012 BHP (9mm) I have limited it to only using 115gr so far, not wanting to damage the gun. So no added reinforcements are needed, other than springs? Would the same answer apply to a forged steel 1976 BHP?
Well, I finally found someone at BH. They tell me my incomplete BH Custom Shop Project is on hold while the team is overseas for a couple more weeks! I'm Not a happy BH Veteran Customer. Project gun was sent to me out of spec from original request. Returned it over 2 weeks ago and did not receive any notification of the status of rework or even that they had received the returned Pistol. I'm not pleased with BH!
Sooner or later you have to make your own HiPower. The old ones will break and maybe those changes slowly bring you there. Maybe you can add something like the usp dual spring buffer idea into it. Don't forget about all the CZ 75 based pistols like Tanfoglios that are still different and come in lots of calibers. They would definitely benefit from your optimized products.
It's good to see you guys working on data based BHP solutions! I really do need to get at least 1 of my clones sent up to you for your special magic.
