  • In this Session of BHSpringSolutions' Hi-Power University, we go part-by-part with BHSpringSolutions' Estimates of Typical Service Life of all Components in Hi-Power pistol and Suggested Maintenance / Replacement practices.
Do note that the expectations outlined in this video are General-Guidance from BHSpringSolutions and actual experience of service life of any component in any handgun is heavily influenced by a long list of variables. For this reason, BHSpringSolutions advocates periodic Safety-Inspection of any / all handguns by a Gunsmith or qualified Service Center such as the BHCustomShop Service Department or the Service Dept of the Firearm Manufacturer.

Great video. I appreciate the tutorial on how and why parts need to be replaced. BH Spring Solutions upgraded both of my Hi-Powers and I am very pleased with the work. All that said, if either of my HP's need something done, I'll send them back to you folks. I am not nearly qualified to be a junior gunsmith, that's a recipe for disaster. Thanks again.

I gauged the never-used, 30yo factory mag that came with my Hi-Power, it presented the round very nose-high as in the video, and in test firing, I found I'd get two failures to eject per ten rounds fired.

Lol, unused springs don’t go bad from age >>Unless you’re trying to sell them!
