This is college, not the NFL. Every year, you have a different team. It's a tough concept to grasp, but with some time, effort, and research, you'll understand the difference between the leagues, the concept of graduation, drafts, and so on.

UW is another Wisconsin-esque team. Usually pretty decent (6 to 9 wins) and occasionally really good (9 - 11 wins). So, they round out a conference ... like a better, more consistent version of Minnesota-type team. This was always going to be a rough season. Their entire team left after last year's run. UW would struggle in literally any 1-A conference.
