His knee was definitely down you can see the rubber fly up from the turf. Doesn't take away how amazing the athleticism was on that play though, he's a glitch!!
Same. I am convinced it actually took years off my life from stress. I thought I was going to have a stroke. PSU football always manages to do this to us, but that game was to a whole other level.
5:45, and 9:05 all you need to know. Best cut in history, best hurdle in history and tackled Josey Jewell and on top of that picked up the blitz to win the game after 300 yards. That jump stop sent Iowa legend Josey Jewell flying out of bounds even though he timed his tackle right, it's just that no one but Saquon can do a one-legged jump stop change of direction .... gawww I am so glad I traveled to this game ("on business"). Who else has a small patch of corn growing in front of the stadium, and stops the game to wave to children in their hospital next to Kinnick. Been going there since I was a kid.. life was good, just like at Beaver Sta. Iowa is always my favorite team to play, home or road, just good people and a good program that is tough. They play tougher than any team in the country mentally. I have $ on them and PSU in 2022 because I like them (and on USC b/c possible long-shot).

Agreed, they have a chance to be a top 5 team by the time we play them with them being 7-0 wins over a decent Auburn, top 15 Wisconsin, top 20 Iowa and top 20 Indiana.
The funny thing is everybody was running all over Iowa that year and once the played Penn State we all know exactly who was going to get the ball and he did exactly what we all saw coming
I'm thinking more of the 2019 game where the ref called back 4 touchdowns and a field goal on questionable penalties. I don't blame Iowa for that though. That particular ref (John O'Neill) has made many questionable calls against Penn State over the years, costing them games like the 2014 Ohio State game, where OSU kicked a field goal 3 seconds after time expired, allowing them to win in overtime. That same game, he REVIEWED an interception where the player scrambled after the ball on the ground and confirmed the "interception."
I remember when Wadley scored that go-ahead TD, telling my friends that we scored too early. Sure enough, Penn State drove right down the field and scored that last second TD.
knowing these guys from NFl and hearing them in college is weird like i know they came from here first but i first heard about some of these from madden and what not...
Great video. Could you maybe do: When Missouri almost made the National Championship and do the highlights from the 2013 SEC championship game against Auburn?
Dude the Sanders run at 6:48 is the epitome of why he isn't an elite back, an unnescesary cut to the outside when a cut upfield would gain him the extra yards and then running out of bounds and not finishing the play by lowering his shoulder into someone

Trace delivered the killstroke at the end with the pass, and some other good plays, but made many mistakes as well that game. One of the best performances by a runningback in College Football history.
What about Elliot in his prime
That was one of the most insane 3rd down conversions I’ve ever seen at 8:42
Oh and btw he takes a hit in mid air and still gets the 1st down
As a PSU fan it warms my heart to hear the booing when Trace Mcsorley punted the ball on the last play.
