Yep that season was WILD. My Ducks were riding through that insanity until my boy Dennis Dixon blew out his knee. He was staring a Heisman and a Natty in the face and it just slipped away like it did for so many others that year 😂

Welcome to Big Ten football. It's a tough, physical league. Always has been. A team needs big, strong players to compete in this league. There is a reason that so many offensive and defensive linemen are drafted out of the Big Ten every year. USC will need to get bigger in order to compete here.

Is the officiating just really, really bad or corrupt? There is no way you don't give him a TD there. I've been seeing all sorts of obvious bad calls like this going in favor of big programs this season. It's beyond ridiculous.
I don't know if I'd say that was an obvious bad call. It definitely seems a bit iffy since you can't see the ball but you know roughly where the ball is and he was clearly across the goal line. I don't think that can be considered conclusive evidence though so it probably shouldn't have been overturned but it's one of those ones where it definitely seems like it was the correct call in the end even though the replays couldn't show it. Like if they would have called it a touchdown on the field then no one would have any issues with it

Bad decision to throw that ball on the last play. It's first down, throw it away or to the sideline and you get yourself at least one more shot. Instead he threw it into three defenders.
