    Pretty how long do they last out

    • @MTK
      @MTK  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Yjtorres91... it unfortunately does not last very long outside due to the lack of gelatine. If defrosted and used straight from the fridge, I would say about about 30 minutes. I hope this helps.
      Let me know if you would like to know more about adding gelatine (if that's not something you're concerned about)

    Hi do we freeze them in the freezer or the regular side? As well as if it’s in the freezer how long till it gets soft to eat?

    • @MTK
      @MTK  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi.
      You would freeze it with the sponge/open side up.
      It depends on the ambient temperature of the room, but it doesn't take long.
      You can even leave them in the fridge to defrost until needed.
      I hope this helps?

    Looking to make these for my hubby's birthday but as a single cheesecake. Will it work the same if it is made a one cake instead of just little ones?

    • @MTK
      @MTK  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Stella. Thanks for stopping by.
      You definitely can adapt this recipe for a single cake. Make the base, and the mix as per the recipe in a regular spring form cake tin.
      I would suggest:
      Line the tin with greaseproof paper on the side, so when the cheesecake mix freezes, it will peel off easily.
      And not making it higher that about 1.5 inches (about 3cms)
      Let me know if you need any more advice?
      Happy baking ☺️

      @MTK Actually, the name of the biscuits, I'm not sure if they are available in the USA.

    • @MTK
      @MTK  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Barbra, this is what I found on google... 'These are a popular fairly plain biscuit (cookie to those in the US), the most popular brand being made by McVitie's.'
      If you cant find them, you can use digestive biscuits or even Graham Crackers.
      I hope this helps?

    • @MTK
      @MTK  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, as long as its a whipping cream, the recipe will work, check on the container if it says so?
      It needs a high fat content for the stability. You can even use the long shelf life cream.
      I hope I've helped you out, let me know if you need any more help?
      Happy baking ☺️
