Danny Joe. One of my best friends in high school. I left for CA....he joined the Coast Guard .I saw him the last time in '77 when I went back to Jax for visit....got pics..but can't post them here. Then he up and joined Molly Hatchet. He taught me you could be cool and not be an asshole. And that despite coming from a broken home and messed up beginnings...one can make something of themselves. RIP Danny. I will never forget you... those teenage years and our shenanigans.

Man, have some respect for Jake. I new this kid when he was like 20. I met him when they were touring in Va back in 93. He came and stayed with my bud Ozzy at Bryce Resort. Jake was a great guy with a big heart. He probably doesnt remember me but I remember that night we when he took the golf carts on the Golf Course. Great to see ya Jake. I enjoyed your tribute to your Father.

It's great to be from Jacksonville Fl. the Westside. Rich with history; Southern rock starts here! My husband used to watch Molly Hatchet reherse in a storage building. His sister dated Rick Medlocke when he was in Blackfoot, and his older brother rode motorcycles with Ronnie Van Zant. I love Danny Joe Brown! I miss him greatly!!!

I truly worship this band . THE GREAT MOLLY HATCHET"' I somehow was allowed to stand beside them at a small club in San Francisco California. on stage and rock out with them in front of the audience. Just standing by the stage and rocking.

saw hatchet in Tulsa back in the early 80's at a venue called old lady on brady. It held about 500 people and more than 70% of the jams blasted thru the walls. It was a great concert...reefer smoke as thick as.....DAMN! this joker just started singing. Fuckin' crap. If joe was dead when this happened, he turned over in it. If he wasn't...it added to his illness.
