This phenomenon is truly fascinating. I have witnessed how patients thought they were cheated on only because their partner wore a different lipstick than usual or because they used a wrong type of bread for sandwiches. And sometimes this ends really badly.

True but there are a lot of cases involving cheating in societies which have set aside religion or human values of contact, close knit community relations, etc., in modern times the behavior of affections itself are cold often relationships turning sour due to problems of the modern era.

I was like this comment mention once, and later on I had to articulate why. I haven't watched the video yet so I can't comment on that.
I had really horrible experiences with lying and cheating, and it never had any reasoning behind it, nor did it have any conclusion and so on. Then I met a girl who would gaslight the shit out of me. It was like you would never know what was coming home after she was away. It slowly drove me insane. When our relationship started, I was feeling great, and I never got jealous. I thought that if it happens it happens, and that I didn't believe it would, and if it would, I would leave. She also assured me as I did her that it wasn't going to happen.
As an example, she would say outrageous things and promise too much, and she would also lie about things. , She would then turn around and pretend to be ignorant or childlike about things she was doing. She would not communicate, and only demanded. This was the worst part that drove me to insanity. No communication, no real assurrances, but only sort of misleading or avoidance. Everything was left wide open for me to interpret, and of course with enough hints and my past horrible experiences these interpretations turned negative.
She would go out, and come home totally plastered carried my her friends who all seemed like something was wrong. I asked her and she have me nothing, and after a while would say no. She would say things like "this random guy wanted me to fix his zipper on the street, so I knelt down in front of him and used a pin to close his zipper, hee hee."
She would carry this on and on, and then turn it around like I was being crazy for asking what was up. I then stopped asking, because I of course didn't want to be crazy. It of course did nothing to alleviate the situation.
People have this sense of social awkwardness and people also often leak their intentions, unless they are completely psychopathic.
I actually left her pretty soon after I realized things were going wrong, but I ended up back with her because the other option was to be homeless. This might have been the most unfortunate event ever, because of course everything that I had sensed was wrong was actually wrong, and she was lying, about everything. She ended up cheating on me for reasons I had asked her to admit to me years earlier, and I think the last thing I ever said to her was, "Why didn't you just telle all of this years ago when I begged for the truth from you?"
I had told and shown her she can talk about anything, but she turned around and said how I got upset once after she told me something. I had gotten upset in the past because she had not only lied but had tried to convince me of the opposite of something, and so on.
So when someone is jealous, there is a chance they are being totally paranoid or that their alarm system is broken for whatever reason. It's also possible that even though a person has not cheated yet, the other person senses that something is off and then if it is not properly addressed, it will get out of control. The last option of course is, that the other person is totally cheating.
This is what makes these things so crazy. How do you know if an intuition is, correct or not when you can't articulate something that comes naturally. You can't point it out accurately enough, or the other person dismisses it without even thinking about it.
The last thing she ever sent me was, that I was right about her all along.

    • @joycerabbitt4362
      @joycerabbitt4362 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Good news, it was not you. Instinctively you probably knew the truth but did not believe in yourself enough to act on it. On the other hand you did what you had to to stay off the streets. Hope your living situation is better now.

This is really sad. Imagine the man you love suddenly becoming convinced that you are the devil incarnate, that you're a cheater, and that your entire marriage has been a lie. This form of psychosis is one I've never heard of before. Such a rapid onset, and not at the typical age range of a schizophrenic! I wonder what his "proof" was. Here is a classic example of how a person with Delusional Jealousy (Othello Syndrome) can really make their story sound legitimate and believable. If you didn't know any better you would think what he was saying was all true. He may believe what he's saying on a conscious level, but believe me, these people know when to omit facts, exaggerate things and explain away things that show them to be wrong... and they are very good at getting people to feel sorry for them and playing the victim. The telling part here is that he has no proof whatsoever and all of the "evidence" he mentions to back up his story are all things he just sort of made up in his head. People with this condition come across as normal, regular-minded people when they are not talking about their delusions but in reality they are very sick people.

    • @kaberigomes2117
      @kaberigomes2117 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

See there is a logical problem in your analysis. The lack of evidence doesn't disprove infidelity itself.
But jealousy without prima facie evidence of reasoning to believe this there could be possibility of infidelity could be potential Delusional Jealousy Syndrome.
Now sometimes very minute actions of hiding infidelity can seem no obvious evidence, but can trigger a gut reaction of doubt of infidelity.
Now the question is, what can we do in that case. We cannot gather such evidence, cause it's very subtle, can't be presented as proof. On the other hand, people might believe you have jealousy syndrome.
So in essence, i believe this syndrome is most difficult to diagnose.

I just realized right now, that my father had it too.
One day, my mother wore a perfume. And he was sooo sure that this was proof that she was cheating on him.
He started beating her up and unfortunatelly, after this incident, it got worse and worse.
If she wore her hair differently, she was cheating (according to his brain) so he beat her up again.
If she wore a new shade of lipstick, obviously she was cheating again.
    So again he hit her.
Everything she did - even the most normal basic things - were triggering to him and were a confirmation that she wasn‘t loyal. And everytime, he hit her agressively because obviously his jealousy was too much for him to handle.
Until she grabbed me and left him to escape and survive.

Never should have left him alone but she was probably trying to get a break from him even then. I don't believe all this started happening during one month in July when he was bored and started ruminating. It just intensified. I hope they got divorced and the long suffering wife could move on. Staying together for the sake of the kids is never good. But since his own father was a deadbeat father I am sure he didn't want to put his kids through that.

This man clearly says that he started having thoughts based off being the bud of jokes what exactly the jokes were if any we do not know…. We are only seeing a few minutes of this man’s life honestly! This man also says he knows he has no real proof & that the thoughts escalated…. But in 2023 & trust me this sounds similar to how many people think in relationships that have developed or never had any trust….. whether they have been cheated on or not & that can be for various reasons….
People start relationships and things happen married or not.
I feel the issue is he feels this way for a reason we don’t know his home life/marriage but he clearly understands his feelings and admits to not finding real proof! Hey the show cheaters was created off of premonition 😂along with entertainment hahaha….. but seriously a lot of people go through similar thoughts in some of these videos and I feel like sometimes it’s just a part of being human…. We all aren’t created the same or think the same everything does not have to be deemed a psychological problem….. it’s life & people handle things differently now if he is trying to hurt himself or others & I know conditions like that exist then of course intervention is needed…. For anyone especially if they feel they need help in an area….
Sounds to me like he became obsessed with not being able to get solid evidence based off his discernment these days people either choose to divorce such as he suggest, cheat or stay & well like he says despise his wife and again this happens even today so guess they better go scoop them folks up! The mind & body is complex and somethings humans can’t label or fix thats when we call on the universe to help lol!
This is coming from me a person who already feels like an alien on earth so pay me no mind for I’m sure if I ever sat down with a psychiatrist they would label me something 😂Whoever reads this 😂possibly she is having a manic episode 🤣No, I just feel comfortable talking most times.
    I like saying how I feel &
I feel I have a level of awareness that I was born with and I do not hate that at all!

WHY does a delusional jealously has a disorder even if it is TRUE that the partner is cheating?, because a) the person has a pathological attachment, the person needs the partner to stabilize their mind, b) a normal person would suffer but their conexion with reality wouldn´t be lost, people with PSYCHOSIS lose their minds under stressful events like infidelity; infidelity is something horrible to a person but a sane person would suffer under the reality of being cheated but the level of insanity will be measured on the damage that the infidelity causes on the person, suffering, depression, or psychosis

This man comes off very insecure and has a “dark”aura. He was asked of the “proof” he had and it was nothing more than his own thoughts. His accusations could’ve been a projection for things he was doing or wanted to do? Why was your family on holiday without you especially if the backlash was going to be you accusing your wife of infidelity? It’s imperative we heal as individuals before we start mating and creating families 😢

I'd say he may have been right about his wife cheating. Sometimes all we have is a gut feeling, and can't prove it; the cheaters are that good. Instead of psychiatrists, it would've been better for him to simply divorce. It seems he was just stuck on wanting proof, so he could really go off on her and the other man. He seemed to really love his family, and didn't want to believe it. Got himself caught in a web of psychiatrists, as well as his wife's deceptions. If you suspect your spouse is cheating, just divorce and leave. Better to lose your money and family, than to end up in the hands of a psychiatrist.

My father down to a T. Inconclusively jealous throughout his whole existence. Used to think my mother was having affairs all the time. He'd pay people to spy/stalk her while he was at work. He even got jealous of my uncle once, my own mother's brother, for putting his arm around her during a family gathering. My mother was 💯 loyal and faithful to him during their marriage, wouldn't so much as cross eyes with another man. He, however, was also narcissistic, coercive, physically violent, controlling and codependent. There was always fear that he might do something dark like you mentioned. Sadly he passed away from liver cancer (he was still my father nonetheless). My mother now has severe PTSD and never remarried after his death...
