Close mic'ing relies much more on being able to mix post recording. Most people cannot mix for shit. Overprocessing everything to death and back. Get it right at the source. dumbest and most pretentious comment i’ve read
odd time signatures aren’t hard, especially when it’s the same two of them
if your mouth drops when you see something other than 4/4 you need to reconsider your musical career
Gerardo Amaro okay boomer
Buaaaah, bro estás a otro nivel, muchas felicidades!
Solid bro!!!!! I am not even a tool fan but that was very entertaining.
I would definitely recommend this guy as a drummer as a guitarist. Badass play through and cover man.
Can we mention how much of a nice adition the camera moving around and zoomin in is?
Now we can watch our thicc boi even better!
Giorgos Tsak mm yes
Giorgos Tsak morbid obesity isn’t funny
Tweedle Dee it wasn't suposed to be funny, so you just exposed yourself by making that asumption😜but I can understand you.We live in an evil world and many people make fun of such issues.
It's probably not even his fault. His metabolism may be very poor so he can't burn fat as fast.
I don't exercise and I eat very unhealthy and I'm fucking 120 pounds. Don't ever judge someone by how much they weigh (Not saying you guys are)
As a drummer who has been playing for many years ... Tool is very intricate... And you played it VERY well... Nice work keep banging
I'm impressed you manage to get the sound you do with 2 mics
Been recording drums for 35 odd years now. ALL my best recordings are minimally mic'd. Good open sounding drum set played well is all you need often. Close mic'ing relies much more on being able to mix post recording. Most people cannot mix for shit. Overprocessing everything to death and back. Get it right at the source. Room and the kit damping/tuning is half your drum sound the other half from the player and how they hit it.
I was thinking the same thing! The mix job on this cover is insane! Especially with the limited recording hardware!
Boss mang. So much practice pit into timing, to be this perfect is something many people only can dream about but never succeed at.
Timing is so good.
