My personal favourite is the Turkish Spider-Man, who technically isn’t in any official spiderman media but a Turkish Spider-Man lookalike was in one of the spiderverse comics about Miles. Turkish Spider-Man is from 3 Dev Adam, a 1970s Turkish bootleg film where Turkish Spider-Man is just an insane dude who does stuff like using a boat to cut someone’s head off or have a gerbil eat their eyes out. Mexican wrestler El Santo and Captain America attempt to defeat him but end up just killing his endless clones and/or goons dressed up as him (the writers left it vague. Truely ahead of their time) where they kill the lookalikes then Turkish Spider-Man appears around a corner again and again for some reason instead of just leaving while he has the chance before he eventually dies for real

Hope you counted Insomniac Silk, who literally came into existence less than two weeks ago. We've only seen the back of her head and she's had zero lines, but she's there.
The Spider-Verse movies introduced the concept of "b" universes that are labeled as one we're already familiar with, but clearly not the same. The terminal for the collider in the first movie clearly labels their current universe as "1610," but that obviously can't be right, so we're calling it 1610b. There's no reason to think every background character is a b variant though if they can be explained through time dilation between universes or just the "forgot to mention it" effect that comic crossovers have been using for years. Do you have written documentation of all your work? I'd love to take a look at it
Yes... It's very much possible that the insomniac spiderman in ATSV is not a b universe variant and maybe the real guy who might get recruited by miguel in the future of his timeline... And we just haven't seen it yet.
@@itsjustaadru9304 Seems like you can apply this logic of they're from the future of their timeline to many other characters. For simplicity's sake and the lack of direct evidence of this at the moment I can see why these guys wouldn't go down that rabbit hole.

Heres a non complicated idea. All the spiderpeople there are the B variant. We call it earth 1610b to differentiate it from the comic books. Why would they try and make everything more complicated with adding in "B" and "A" versions of universes instead of just making new ones.

I think it's really cool how Across The Spiderverse features so many unique Spider variants that it warranted its own category. God help us once Beyond The Spiderverse comes out 😅
Also related to the "Miles Anomaly" and "Silk will be important in the next one" given has Silk got her powers in the comics there is something to connect there with her, Peter and Miles, since it's the same spider giving powers to two characters
Meanwhile I'm just wondering what else happened in Spectacular Spider-Man's life that made him decide to join the Spider Society. Still great to see him back after a 14-year absence
I will admit, my probably weirdest take is that I really like Spider-man clones in concept. It probably comes from being a twin but while I find the clone conflict stories grating, the idea of two people just getting on with their life and figuring out their own ways to exist while the other one is there are pretty resonant. It annoys me that writers tend to narrow this down in many cases to just bickering over whose 'real' or killing one or the other off (a problem writers also have when writing twins incidentally). One of those things I've always wanted to do with fanfiction is take one of the kid or teenage Spider-heroes (Penelope Parker, Peni, Mayday, the Spider-Man from those comics aimed at younger readers etc) and run the clone saga, then just have the Scarlet Spider around in the same way that Miles Morales has just sort of slotted into the wider Spider-man story, explore those uncertainities and conflicts that actually arise from having a very close sibling/copy (stuff like 'Am I still allowed to do stuff with my friends or are those HIS friends?' 'If they're good at x then I should be good at y'). I think you could divide up Peter's massive skillset quite nicely to make two characters that are similar, related but without being redundant quite effectively. Also Riley is already a perfectly useable girls name and Elliot is right there courtesy of Otto Octavius, so there's room to be imaginative with the naming in ways that don't lead to theme naming...
17:00 seeing Ben just pointing a freaking gun at Peter is one one of the funniest things out of context and i refuse to get context because this shit's too funny to ruin.
SpiderMan is my favorite superhero, and I love the Spiderverse concept and movies, but it can be a bit much sometimes. At least there are still universes that don't have Paul.
As a longtime viewer from the Netherlands, you are forgiven for your pronunciation, we do have a weird language, also thank you letting me know there is actually a donald duck spider-man who originates from a dutch comic, it's insane how deep your research went
22:54 btw, if someone can double check this that would be great, but im like half sure that in the Mexican comics, the artists wanted to see if they could get away with giving Gwen a bigger ass as the series was ongoing, to see how much attention Marvel was doing and by the end there was quite a notable difference.
I love that I live in a day and and age where this is a topic that can be taken seriously enough for groups of people, multiple authors and artists, and numerous companies and businesses could spend 3 months trying to figure out just how many variations of what is essentially the same fictional character exist.
Do they? Drake Bell's Ultimate Spider-Man has his own spiderverse which is confusing, most people forgot about the 2017 series, and who knows where Spidey and his Amazing Friends fit in the Canon
@@CaptainCat101it’s still part of the spiderverse drake bell’s Peter appeared in the comics in a spiderverse crossover It’s called the multiverse for a reason dudr
Spectacular deserves more attention. USM was like an ok show, bordering on not that good, but it gets a lot of praise from people who are nostalgic for it, so it's definitely not lacking for attention. The 2017 show is just a miserable slog, it doesn't deserve more attention by any metric
There probably is a Miles Morales in the Spider Society though as the Insomniac Spider-Man is explicitly shown when they’re showing “video game guys” and is specifically shown in his updated Spider-Man 2 outfit, which means Miles HAS to exist and I doubt his Peter didn’t tell him about this. I think when Miguel refers to Miles as the “original anomaly”, he just means THAT Miles specifically and not any Miles in general, that’s silly
Exactly. I think the film isn't making it explicit because of the Themes of a black kid being told he isn't supposed to be Spiderman, but the existence of Insomniac Spiderman means the Spiderverse-MCU multiverse contains at least one other Miles. Spiderverse Miles is just unquie because he's the only one who has been bitten by a spider not of his dimension
As someone who has just tried to create a list of comics that include Spider-folk and has taken months out of my life, this feat is incredible! Well done!
Even if considering the Fortnite skins to be their original selves didn't cause a whole host of issues, you could still get away with counting them as separate copies because of how Fortnite's universe inherently works. Everyone who sets foot in The Loop (literal time loop, it's why the fighting on the island is practically endless.) leaves behind a "snapshot" of themselves when they leave. The universe literally clones you so it can keep a copy of you forever. (The Loop also gives everyone amnesia and takes away your ability to communicate verbally as long as you're in it too, for what that's worth.)
Quick note! The Fortnite comic tie in Batman zero point event said that their memories of the outside world are suppressed during their time on the island, and if I remember correctly there memories on the island are deleted unless they win. Also every time they do win, a clone of them remain on the island to protect the zero point, explaining why there are multiple of the same skins during certain matches as well as different variants of them as some of the clones “fracture” during this process
@@chrisishere8673 *Around* 231-ish give or take. There are a handful of non-canon characters thrown into that number which makes things a little awkward, but that's at least how many I have currently on my list
It's really simple: look for all the Black Lego Minifigures. They weren't introduced until Lego used more diverse skins, and they've made Lego figures of pretty much every Star Wars character at this point
Great list. Can't imagine how many times you had to watch across the spiderverse. I noticed you used the clip but didn't mention Max Borne the 6 armed, time travelling Spider-Man of 2211. Everyone forgets to mention 2211 :-( My favourite has always been Miguel as its what got me into comics. But I'll always ha e a soft spot for the forgotten 2211.
I never understood all the Clone hate. Ben Reilly and Kane Parker are literally the reason why I got into Comics I think they are super interesting characters. just the idea that Peter Parker accidentally has two brothers is really interesting to me that being said I liked it best when kain Parker is the darker one more of an anti-hero and Ben Reilly is just as Noble as Peter if not possibly more so
I’m genuinely so proud of you guys. This amount of passion and dedication is truly admirable. Well-done. You’ve accomplished something few ever will.❤️
I'd like to bring up that there's an earth known as Earth-7642 which is a world where Marvel and DC characters along with other series like Transformers, co-exist. I would be so down for Turkish Spider-Man to become official. Imagine a team-up between him and Wolf-Spider from Ultimate Spider-Man. Heck, I'd be down for an animated reimagining of the Toei Spider-Man that took in elements of the comics. Like imagine if we got to see Venom fight Leopardon Also while obviously TAS!Spidey and Insomniac Miles are characters that definitely need to appear in Beyond the Spider-Verse, I genuinely want to see the variants of Peter, Miles, and Gwen from Spidey and his Amazing Freinds along with Spider-Man 2017. The latter especially because that show had Miles' dad, Jefferson become Swarm. It'd be funny to see how Miles, Prowler Miles, and especially Insomniac Miles would react to learning about Jefferson as Swarm from 2017! Miles.
Wow, this must have taken so long to research, great work as always! (Kind of makes me nervous for me finally taking a stab at trying to see how many Yugioh timelines there are, now I think about it) So, I'm guessing that Ultimate Jessica Drew (one of my personal favorite Spider-folk) was only counted once since she's both a clone and a Jessica Drew? Speaking of, with the clone exception, would clones who became their own person (as opposed to dying soon after, for example) get removed in that count? Also, just curious- does Spider-Boy from Amalgam count (since he's technically not from the Marvel universe, but is kind of a Spider-man)?
The Fortnite Spiders should fall under the “clones” category imo, since the playable versions in-game are considered snapshots which are memory-wiped, mute recreations of characters that are created after they escape the island. Spider-Man Zero is just 616 Peter, though
It's crazy to think about the amount of effort put into this video! Great job! BTW, as a Fortnite fan and a Marvel fan, I wanted to note something quick. It's gonna sound confusing but bear with me. Basically, the marvel skins in game are the ones from the comics and movies, but the way Fortntie's story works is that these characters likely come to the game for a bit and then leave. The reason why you can stilll play as their skins is because whenever someone leaves Fortntie's Battle Royale loop (I won't go into the whole thing surrounding the loop here) they leave behind a clone named a snapshot. The cycle repeats every time a snapshot leaves the loop and so on so forth. The original version of a character can go back to their universe, and end up leaving thousands of clones behind. Just wanted to mention that. 👍
With the existential question on if clones are their own people, the comics has a plotline focused around Ben Reilly has his own soul separate to Peter and the other clones.... but also that the soul is the same across all the hundreds of times he gets killed and recloned and is actually the single entity in all of the universe who has died the most in all of time.
I feel like just the video game Spiders probably brought up a whole slew of questions. Are the comic and game versions of Insomniac Spider-Man the same person? Do we count the movie tie in games as separate universes? Is Marvel Super Heroes in the same continuity as Marvel vs Capcom? Do the Lego games and animated movies count as the same universe? There's so much here to dive into. I respect the dedication this must have taken.
In regard to the Fortnite variants, they ARE the original variants, however the playable skins are copies left over after the original variants escaped. Of course, exceptions have to be made for the movie skins but the comic one is (so spider-man (comic) and spider-man zero are just the main comic spidey)
After seeing your pie chart of all of the Spider-Man variants I'm now disappointed an Aunt May Spider-Character wasn't big in Across the Spider-Verse. She was the only named character on the chart to not be a main character.
Silk: "A great character when Dan Slott's NOT writing her". I mean... You're not WRONG, but holy shit, the roast on Dan Slott wasn't something I was expecting!
There are a bunch of alternate Earths in the Marvel multiverse. It's not something most people realize, but there were at least 161 alternate universes each with its own Earth. One of the cooler things about the Secret Wars event is you get to see heroes from many alternate Earths gathered together on Battleworld. Reasons why i said this: Every world has a spiderman
The Spidermen and Spiderwomen I know from the Spider-Verse are: Tobey/Sam Raimi, Andrew Garfield, MCU/Tom Holland, Ultimate Spider-Man(Disney XD), Marvel's Spider-Man(Also Disney XD), Insomniac Spiderman and Miles Morales(Insomniac), Spider Gwen, Anya(Spidergirl), Mayday, Jessica Drew(Ultimate comics), Spectacular, Superior, Spinneret, Symbiote Spiderman, Agent Venom, Anti Agent Venom, Ben Riley, and last but certain not least Japanese Spiderman.
I think Insomniac Spider-Man is the same one in Spider-Verse. I understand some like Miguel need to be their own character for continuity reasons, but the Insomniac Spider-Man 2 side missions (spoiler alert) literally tie directly into the spider-verse films.
These moments when you say I don't have time to explain, yeah can you make those videos I'd honestly love to listen for however long that video goes on
That's insane! Wasn't sure if you consider the video game version of Tobey and Andrew's Spider-Men? (This includes different ports of those games as well) I know Andrew's video game counterpart is a separate universe but are Tobey's separate as well or is there a way that the video games can still be somewhat canon to the main Raimi films? (Scenes from the movie playout differently in the games but I guess that wouldn't mean that stuff we only see in the games didn't happen off-screen in the films as well.)
25:03 Well if Duck Dodgers got to be Green Loontern due to a laundry mixup with Hal Jordan in his TV show (not even making this up) (he also made a cameo appearance in Lego Batman: Beyond Gotham) and Bugs became Batman (with LeBron as Robin) while Lola became an Amazon warrior in Space Jam 2 then why not?
The amount of research that went into this is mind boggling. You guys deserve some kind oof comic-nerd gold medal! Any "inaccuracy" shouldn't even matter at this point that being said... how did you pronounce Kazuki Takahashi as Takashiki?
I think the fortnite paradox works since these characters come back the same time they left I’m pretty sure, and the island clones them after they leave which explains why they’re still there after they canonically leave.
Hey, I've got a question! Did you guys take into account the fact that the Spider-verse watch refers to Peter B Parker's universe is called 616-B? I feel like that could be important and might change the number of Spider-people, some assume that his means that the Multiverse that the entire movie takes place in, is Multiverse "B," while the comics and and games Multiverses are their own separate thing! That could also explain why there are multiple variants of Insomniac Spidey and it's kind of flip flopped on whether or not his comic appearances are canon. I don't know, just wanted to ask about all that!
The Spider-verse movies using the same universe designations as the comics for Miguel, Miles, Gwen, and Peter seems to indicate that those movies take place in a completely separate multiverse... but that brings up even more problems. Take Insomniac Spider-Man. He appeared in the Spider-Geddon comic event _and_ Across the Spider-verse. If those movies take place in a separate multiverse, that means there's two Insomniac universes, one in the comics multiverse and one in the movie multiverse, but the games we see (thanks to the second game) are clearly in the movie multiverse. This also means that the live-action movies (the Raimi movies, Webb movies, Venom movies, and the _entire MCU_) take place in the Spider-verse movie multiverse and not the comics multiverse, which is supported by those universes being unaffected by Secret Wars 2015, but also there are clearly a crap ton of _other_ universes that were unaffected by that event and I'm sure there are some other contradictions out there to indicate that the movies are in the comics multiverse. So basically, I think the Spider-verse movies broke the entire Marvel canon.
If you watch the movie again, Spider-People that appear in the comics are labeled either "Earth-616A" and "Earth-1610A" in order to differentiate their respective realities from the movie versions, which we can assume is "Earth-616B" and "Earth-1610B". As for the MCU, the fandom and the wiki don't consider the MCU as Earth-616 but rather Earth-199999, no matter what the characters say in the movies. Even Across the Spider-Verse took a shot at them by calling them 199999.
@@federalexpressman9762 To my knowledge, the MCU never said it was 616. Mysterio said that, but he turned out to be lying about literally everything. And I know for a fact that in the first Spider-verse movie, it explicitly used Earth-1610, Earth-616, and Earth-65, and this video has clips from the second movie in it that do not show the As and Bs you claim are there.
@@Bobb11881 Christine Palmer of Earth-838 designated the MCU as Earth-616 in Multiverse of Madness, which I assume you have not seen. Although Mysterio was only lying in Far From Home and we can assume based on that fact that the use of 616 in Far From Home is nothing more than just an easter egg, the Christine Palmer of Earth-838 designated the MCU as Earth-616, which made it clear that they wanted the MCU to be labeled as such because that version of Christine Palmer is aware of the multiverse and is doing research on it. Not only that, in the Loki series, the "Sacred Timeline" is labeled as E-616 in a blink and you'll miss it easter egg.
When I was at work 2 days ago one of the coworkers asked how many Spider-Man’s are there❓ I responded by saying there’s 1000 different Spider-Man’s now. And it turns out that I was actually correct. But in this case it’s over 1000.
Petra/Spinstress is probably my favourite thing to come from the Spider-verse comics. Also it took me ages to realise that Spinstress is a pun about her being cursed to never confess her love or loose her powers, and the spider 'spinning' thing. And sounding a bit like Princess.
I recall there being discussions of Across the Spiderverse having multiple variants shown in theaters. Would each of those count as distinct universes with their own unique counts?
I can't imagine doing that level of research, watching this video hurt my brain and confused me so much. I enjoyed it so much. I have been fixating on Spider-Man related content for a few days now, and have wanted a straightforward list of individual "spider people". After searching I realize technically the list is infinite and unobtainable however I still wish some kind soul would create a list of every spider character that was unique ignoring their variants across the multiverse for a more simple explanation such as a list like peter parker, Miles, Jessica drew, and more just with basic stats like real name "made up name" and maybe basic backstory/traits. That seems too much to ask so all in all I am glad I watched this video that has made me see why I can never truly get into reading comics there is too much overwhelming content to comprehend.
*Ahem*... You missed one I know, I know, you don't want "you missed one" comments from unofficial sources. But the problem there is that this one isn't actually unofficial. Since Battle Fever J was co-produced by Marvel and Toei alongside the Japanese Spider-Man and Battle Fever J is considered Earth-79203, this means that the Super Sentai/Kamen Rider/etc. multiverse is linked to the Marvel multiverse. And, not too long ago on March 5th of 2023, this multiverse birthed its own Spider-Man (or スパイダークモノス aka Spider Kumonos). This makes Jeramie Brasieri from Ohsama Sentai King Ohger an official spider person. He's a small blip waaaaaaay out there on the fringes, but there he is.
When far from home, and later multiverse of madness, stated the mcu was 616, i had a theory of sorts. Each medium, comics, film, games etc has their own spider-verse which would lead to duplicate numbering. Each of those spider-verses are also part of the spider-omni-verse (or maybe some hitherto un-named middle stage between multi and omni) that can still lead to cross overs. So miguel having the same universe designation as his comic book counterpart would be down to being from different branches of the omniverse. Otherwise my inner nerd gets angry lol
There are not separate multiverses. There are just multiple numeric systems for counting universes. The main one that's used was implemented by the Captain Britain Corps.
My interpretation of that was that the MCU 616 is the same 616 as the comics, just another incarnation of the multiverse. Just like how Galactus is from earth 616, but from the previous iteration, before the Big Bang or like how pre 2015 Secret Wars was the seventh iteration of the multiverse and post Secret Wars is the eighth. The reason why movies and comics can cross over is the same reason why Miguel can cross over with Peter. The 2099 universe is both the future *and* another universe. That’s just my opinion tho so take it with a grain of salt.
Honestly, I have to wonder whether or not insomniac Spider-Man really is part of the spider verse or the one scene in the film is just a variant of him. I’m one hand I think would be really cool if that is actually insomniac Spider-Man… But then it feels really weird that he would be so cool with letting Miles‘s dad die seeing how guilty he felt about failing to save him in his universe. I understand him initially agreeing with Miguel since the events of his solo game do actually line up with Miguel’s theory that sometimes people have to die for the greater good, but the moment he’s willing to let Jeff Davis die means that he probably would never be able to look his miles in the eyes again

You reached a Disney comic extension, but there are a couple of additions I can add that you may have missed from these Disney comics: . In one comic story Mickey Mouse meets a failure of a superhero, in that world superheroes write their own adventures and a Spider-Man like is on top of the building entrance of the comic publisher. . Mickey Mouse once became a Spider-Mouse inspired by how Peter became Spider-Man in the first Raimi film, and then he became a Man-Spider and they had to cure him. . Mickey was once turned to a Lizard, like the Spider-Man villain, but that's for another day (and possibly another video).

Bout to pull a Smash Ultimate;

Next up: Paul becomes a canon event...
Can you imagine a Paul for every universe stealing the love interest of every spider woman/man as a canon event? 😂
As a longtime viewer from the Netherlands, you are forgiven for your pronunciation, we do have a weird language, also thank you letting me know there is actually a donald duck spider-man who originates from a dutch comic, it's insane how deep your research went
I have owned that comic for 9 years now, and gotta say, it was "best tof" to finally hear that thing mentioned in a TH-cam video.
22:54 btw, if someone can double check this that would be great, but im like half sure that in the Mexican comics, the artists wanted to see if they could get away with giving Gwen a bigger ass as the series was ongoing, to see how much attention Marvel was doing and by the end there was quite a notable difference.
This isn't literally the same story behind Powergirl boobs?
I was wondering why she was caked up for no reason.
How is April Parker not a notable clone her backstory is fucking NUTS
I love that I live in a day and and age where this is a topic that can be taken seriously enough for groups of people, multiple authors and artists, and numerous companies and businesses could spend 3 months trying to figure out just how many variations of what is essentially the same fictional character exist.
So... are you gonna give us a document of all the Spider-Men?
Now count every Bat Person in the DC Multiverse.
I’m glad you are counting the Disney tv animated stuff they deserve more attention
Do they? Drake Bell's Ultimate Spider-Man has his own spiderverse which is confusing, most people forgot about the 2017 series, and who knows where Spidey and his Amazing Friends fit in the Canon
@@CaptainCat101it’s still part of the spiderverse drake bell’s Peter appeared in the comics in a spiderverse crossover
It’s called the multiverse for a reason dudr
@@CaptainCat101the 2017 series is underrated for a reason
@@CaptainCat101 "most people forget about" yeah, that's why it deserves more attention.
I hope he counts "SpideyBog" 🙏
Who?
I'm guessing he's you, a Spidersona
I can assure you that Mouse-Spider is different enough from Peter Parker because he's a Bootleg Lego, despite just being a Spidersona
Spidersona’s would open a whole other can of worms
16:58 the best line in superhero TV
"That's right Peter, I'm you, and you're me, and this is a gun.". 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oof, as someone who similarly has been trying to dig through Star Wars Lore to find every black Star Wars Character...I know your pain
How many have you found so far?
@@chrisishere8673 *Around* 231-ish give or take. There are a handful of non-canon characters thrown into that number which makes things a little awkward, but that's at least how many I have currently on my list
It's really simple: look for all the Black Lego Minifigures. They weren't introduced until Lego used more diverse skins, and they've made Lego figures of pretty much every Star Wars character at this point
@@CaptainCat101 That's not a bad idea! The hard part is finding all of the Comic Characters lol

My favourite has always been Miguel as its what got me into comics.
Well-done. You’ve accomplished something few ever will.❤️
If that's the sponsor you landed on, who tf backed out. This is a gem.
I have learnt so much more spider verse lore I never knew I needed to know I want Spider Potnoodle to be canon.

Like imagine if we got to see Venom fight Leopardon
Also while obviously TAS!Spidey and Insomniac Miles are characters that definitely need to appear in Beyond the Spider-Verse, I genuinely want to see the variants of Peter, Miles, and Gwen from Spidey and his Amazing Freinds along with Spider-Man 2017. The latter especially because that show had Miles' dad, Jefferson become Swarm.
It'd be funny to see how Miles, Prowler Miles, and especially Insomniac Miles would react to learning about Jefferson as Swarm from 2017! Miles.
I believe Turkish Spider-Man, or a spider with a vary similar suit did a appear in Spider-Verse #2.

Wow, this must have taken so long to research, great work as always! (Kind of makes me nervous for me finally taking a stab at trying to see how many Yugioh timelines there are, now I think about it)
So, I'm guessing that Ultimate Jessica Drew (one of my personal favorite Spider-folk) was only counted once since she's both a clone and a Jessica Drew? Speaking of, with the clone exception, would clones who became their own person (as opposed to dying soon after, for example) get removed in that count?
Also, just curious- does Spider-Boy from Amalgam count (since he's technically not from the Marvel universe, but is kind of a Spider-man)?
The Fortnite Spiders should fall under the “clones” category imo, since the playable versions in-game are considered snapshots which are memory-wiped, mute recreations of characters that are created after they escape the island.
Spider-Man Zero is just 616 Peter, though
I love Spiders-Man so much, you cannot believe how charming the stupid pun concept is to me
It's crazy to think about the amount of effort put into this video!
THIS IS SO AWESOME! You guys killed it.
12:06 the cat is the best I legit got to mad about this topic and it’s not happening again

The Spidermen and Spiderwomen I know from the Spider-Verse are:
Tobey/Sam Raimi, Andrew Garfield, MCU/Tom Holland, Ultimate Spider-Man(Disney XD), Marvel's Spider-Man(Also Disney XD), Insomniac Spiderman and Miles Morales(Insomniac), Spider Gwen, Anya(Spidergirl), Mayday, Jessica Drew(Ultimate comics), Spectacular, Superior, Spinneret, Symbiote Spiderman, Agent Venom, Anti Agent Venom, Ben Riley, and last but certain not least Japanese Spiderman.
The level of ambition and detail for this video makes my little creative heart ache with admiration. Insane work
I think Insomniac Spider-Man is the same one in Spider-Verse. I understand some like Miguel need to be their own character for continuity reasons, but the Insomniac Spider-Man 2 side missions (spoiler alert) literally tie directly into the spider-verse films.
These moments when you say I don't have time to explain, yeah can you make those videos I'd honestly love to listen for however long that video goes on
the fact that Insomniac Spider-Man has to deal with 19 inches of Venom made me laugh out loud
...So it's Panda's fault
That's insane! Wasn't sure if you consider the video game version of Tobey and Andrew's Spider-Men? (This includes different ports of those games as well) I know Andrew's video game counterpart is a separate universe but are Tobey's separate as well or is there a way that the video games can still be somewhat canon to the main Raimi films? (Scenes from the movie playout differently in the games but I guess that wouldn't mean that stuff we only see in the games didn't happen off-screen in the films as well.)
No The game version of the Raimi films are a separate universe,Or an expanded version of the existing universe
13:09 Huh, that's basically how that exchange went in the second movie too.
The amount of research that went into this is mind boggling. You guys deserve some kind oof comic-nerd gold medal! Any "inaccuracy" shouldn't even matter at this point
that being said...
how did you pronounce Kazuki Takahashi as Takashiki?
I think the fortnite paradox works since these characters come back the same time they left I’m pretty sure, and the island clones them after they leave which explains why they’re still there after they canonically leave.
Love the on screen chem you and Sir Superhero have! It made this super fun to watch.
I was cracking up at 25:49 LOL
This was a crazy amount of research you lads did. Well done and thank you so much for your efforts 👏😁
I don't know, just wanted to ask about all that!
you guys are crazy for doing this but I can't help but love you guys for it! the video turned out real well!
Well this is an interesting deep dive into the spider dimensions.
When I was at work 2 days ago one of the coworkers asked how many Spider-Man’s are there❓
I responded by saying there’s 1000 different Spider-Man’s now.
And it turns out that I was actually correct. But in this case it’s over 1000.
Genuinely hyped for Spider-Clops
Sir superhero sounds so different on a more professional set. I can still identify that it’s him but he sounds deeper in this. Interesting stuff
It never occurred to me that Insomniac Spider-Man knows he’s a video game character.
I think the way it works is different universes different earth numberings; like how mcu claims mcu is 616 but it’s 199999 in atsv

I know, I know, you don't want "you missed one" comments from unofficial sources.

16:59 this line unironically goes hard.
18:05 if Web-Man is supposed to have a Reverse-Flash costume shtick, the black and white has to be swapped too.
@ComicDrake huh, neat. Would be nice if they all had their own unique numbers though.
@@ComicDrakeevery universe has its own numerical system

Honestly, I have to wonder whether or not insomniac Spider-Man really is part of the spider verse or the one scene in the film is just a variant of him.
I’m one hand I think would be really cool if that is actually insomniac Spider-Man… But then it feels really weird that he would be so cool with letting Miles‘s dad die seeing how guilty he felt about failing to save him in his universe. I understand him initially agreeing with Miguel since the events of his solo game do actually line up with Miguel’s theory that sometimes people have to die for the greater good, but the moment he’s willing to let Jeff Davis die means that he probably would never be able to look his miles in the eyes again

.
