Your English lessons are very useful indeed. Not only we're learning a lot with them, but we also have a lot of fun in the process. Thanks a lot, Emma, and lots of regards from a whole lot of admirers.
Emma, I see your lessons so interesting that I use most of them in class with my students. you are an excellent teacher. Congratulations for your great job!
Hello Emma, I do appreciate you a lot because I have been learning a lot of words and expressions which are so useful to speak every moment in a conversation with my friends in Brazil, thanks a lot for all you do.
Hi Emma! I love your lessons, you do it very good. I have a question. When do I have to say, or in which case; Sir, and Mister? And witch deferent are between these two words? Thank you. David.
Hi Emma, I watch your English videos on daily basis. it's awesome and your teaching style is very nice and simple. Thanks for share your videos on TH-cam .
This video is so much beneficial to those who wish to learn English. One should allot more time to learning English through watching the videos of Engvid.
+Edmundo Santos-Garza, I reckon It depends on where the person is from. While in the UK, I heard lots of British people pronouncing the 't' in 'ofTen' just like Canadians do.
Around 4 months back, I was understanding you every class, but I forsake the class for 4 months, and now I don´t understand too much, I can´t understand yours words, some words I understand. I must practicing.
As I responded to a comment below, think of this difference: "He writes lots of poetry" "He writes poetry a lot". In the first sentence I would paraphrase by saying that He writes many poems altogether, for example in his spare time: He writes lots of poetry in his spare time. While the second one it means that He writes poems very often, which could be one every day, or every two days or three, etc... I think there's a subtle difference between both uses, any thoughts?
yes, i agree with you. the first sentence emphasizes the poetry, while the second emphasizes the frequency with which he writes. for more english help, check out Knudge.Me app. it helped me a lot for correct english usage
Ms. Emma, thank you so very much. You're the best teacher in the World. In fact, I learned many vocabularies in your Channel. And speaking English is fluent.
I like this TH-cam channel. It's the best they could have come up with to learn English. I feel like in a classroom watching this videos. Thanks a lot.
I learned a lot today! Thank you very much for the lesson! I like a lot your smile - I like a lot your lessons I have to allotted my time to watch other videos from engVid. All of them are very good
I enjoy learning English with you Emma .Thanks A lot I wonder is there two pronunciation to "OFTEN"because I PRONOUNCE it in different way ?! Thanks Again
Emma, as always you're an awesome teacher! I have a request for you. Could you please explain in depth all about Round and Around? I've read a lot about them but it's still not 100% clear. Thanks in advance! ;)
Hello, I just wanna say thank you for all of you for doing this amazing job. I really dont know if you guys get money from it, perhaps you do, but anyway thanks for helping us...
"But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil." Luke 6:35 KJV
Emma, you are an excellent teacher with no doubt, but I really couldn't figure out your explanation about "...to teaching..." "to" gives me the effect of being an infinitive particle.
It's good that you explain with having a white board that makes the lesson more understandable. No more interesting Well done dear I thumbed up you so you a like from me now you really deserve it because you explain grammar too indicating that you are educated
Emma is correct. Your expression can get a correct shape to the following extent - a. Only 10 minutes were allotted to each speaker. b. We had only 50 munites in hand and 10 minutes were allotted to each.
How can anyone dislike these videos? These are just extremely helpful! Perhaps they‘re too low-level for some people, but that’s no reason to downvote, is it?
Bonjour Emma, j'ai un toujours immense plaisir à écouter tes explications dans ton cours d'anglais. Je t'embrasse tendrement et très passionnément. (surtout si tu es habillé avec cette si belle robe rouge que j'adore et te va si bien.)
"Alot" is always a mistake and should be written as 'a lot'. "A while" and "awhile" mean two *slightly* different things. A "while" is a noun (note the article 'a'), and 'awhile' is an adverb. When in doubt, try replacing "awhile" with another adverb, such as "slowly" or "happily." If the substitute adverb sounds fine, then use "awhile". If not, use "a while". Ex. Let's wait quietly. (It works.) >> Let's wait awhile. Let's wait for quietly. (It doesn't work.) >> Let's wait for a while.
Im sorry but sentence number 2 caught my attention. I ALLOT MOST OF MY TIME TO TEACHING ENGLISH. Shouldn't it be 1: I ALLOT MOST OF MY TIME TO TEACH ENGLISH OR 2: I ALLOT MOST OF MY TIME TEACHING ENGLISH. I got confused there. So which is which?
I am glad you crossed over the "alot " as a not valid word as I have never seen it before. Uff for I moment i was wondering !!! Thank you for your excellent English lessons lessons. I am still learning!
I have seen lots of online teachers but I love the way you teach your students. Thanks a lot 👍 (please criticize if there is any mistake in upper sentence)
Although ALOT has not been added to the dictionary as a specific word yet, it has been accepted in the general public. I have never looked at ALOT as two words. It is used in the chat rooms I communicate in every day. It is just a matter of time before it is accepted as a specific word with its own meaning. Thanks alot.

The best! Emma, I learn a lot with you! Thanks a lot! I love your class a lot! Obs: I'm from Brazil :)
Thanks for the lesson Emma. Your classes are too clear and easy to get it.
On the word "often", Englishmen don´t pronounce the letter "t". They say something like "offen".
+Edmundo Santos-Garza, I reckon It depends on where the person is from. While in the UK, I heard lots of British people pronouncing the 't' in 'ofTen' just like Canadians do.
Most Americans pronounce the letter "T" in often.
It's the other way around. The British usually use a hard T. For example for water we'll say "warter" and Americans often say "warder".
Just like that !
Around 4 months back, I was understanding you every class, but I forsake the class for 4 months, and now I don´t understand too much, I can´t understand yours words, some words I understand. I must practicing.
