To anyone new to my channel, WELCOME ABOARD the JohnInTucson express train to pretty much nowhere, but as I hope you can tell from my reaction videos, I'm here to have a good time and it's my hope that you too are enjoying the content that I present to all of you. Many of my viewers across the planet work 9-5 jobs and have a lot of stress in their lives, as we all do, however in my mind it's always nice to come home at the end of the day or even on your break if you get one, to sit back and watch a video (or 20)and relax - just let the stress slip away.
I take full time care of my 87 year old Mother and she lives with me in my home here in the southwestern desert region of Arizona in a city named Tucson, hence my oddball screen name. I'm pretty disabled myself physically after a horrific bout with Prostate cancer, then sudden onset adult Diabetes with an enormous weight gain in a very short time period, almost killed me 3 times in as many years.
I've learned a valuable lesson in only the last few years, and that is to SLOW DOWN and enjoy your life. So often we blame our circumstances for why we are depressed when in fact, we have the power to change all of that (generally speaking) by simply changing our mindset. Be positive in everything that you do, no matter the circumstance - your attitude goes a long way towards the way others interact with you. Make it your mission in life to help someone out in whatever manner possible, on a daily basis. When you shift focus from your own problems, to helping someone else out with their issues, you will find your own troubles fading into background noise very quickly. Helping others creates 'something' that seems to wake up the universe, and you will find people and your life, will become more and more positive and great things will start happening to you - all because of your positive attitude.
Okay, enough lecturing LOL.

Thank you Toshi, I hate it when reactors talk over the video that they are reviewing, it's so distracting! As a fan, I want to hear the entire song without interruption, so that is what I do for you lovely people. I appreciate your comment regarding this, I knew going in on my channel that I would stand out from all the other 'reactors' by doing it MY way, no interruptions and I will continue doing so as long as I make these kind of videos.

This is part of "The Songbird Sings The Classics" concert at The Westin Philippine Plaza last Oct 6, 2000. It was recorded LIVE and became her album, released on the same year, 6x Platinum ❤️
It is a terrific album and I bought it on Amazon. I was just wondering if there is a complete video of the entire concert, on the internet, and so far I can't find it. Any suggestions or links anyone commenting here can provide me would really be appreciated. I only want it for my own archives and personal use - heck, I'm a HUGE fan of Regine and it would really make me happy! Thanks for your comment.

Yes, I bought as much of the music from this concert on Amazon music too, and I do have the Manilow and the Basil Valdez melodies that sound pretty darn clean and clear, but I would LOVE to have a video of the entire concert, if it even exists. thank you so much for commenting and taking the time to visit my odd little channel ,and if you come across the full concert on the internet, could you let me know? @@JohninTucson This concert was televised in the Philippines. Whoever first uploaded this video obviously recorded it on their VCR as evidenced by the network logo on the upper right corner. What I wouldn't give to ask that person for a copy. But my dream video would be her Manila concert with Michel Legrand and her recent Regine at the Theatre concert which I wished I attended.

Regine absolutely NAILED this medley brilliantly and I can listen to it over and over again and never get tired of it. She is one of the finest Female singers on the planet, and thank god for TH-cam or I would have never heard about her since I'm an American and knew nothing about Filipino singers at all before then. Also, Gerard Salonga did a great job arranging this Manilow medley, not an easy thing to do with all of the time changes and fun tempos. Thank you Chris Lacsina! I have been Barry Manilow fan since the early 1970's and know all of his music, so having Regine singing a medley of his songs seemed like a natural thing to do for a reaction video - Two of the best, in one package LOL.

Yeah, it is kinda odd, but when I have heard Regine singing her Medley's, I knew right away that someone very talented was/is behind the compositions, and sure enough - Gerard Salongga and Ryan Cayabyab were the two names that I kept seeing in a lot of Regine's YT performances. Such talented composers, both of them! And then of course Regine had her time with Michel LeGrand too. I LOVE great musicians, and by God the Philippines certainly have the lions share on the planet LOL. Thanks again for your comment Raven.

I can tell that you've heard the rendition multiple times because you lip-synch even the nuisances, when she hold her breath and when she changes the pitch. It's from her concert titled "Regine Live: Songbird Sings the Classic" which was on Oct. 6, 2000. Thank you for supporting her.
This and the Basil Valdez medley are my favorites of Regine...
JohninTucson Definitely a vocal calisthenics. She always has good technique and unbelievable ability of holding a note longer which gives her interpretations a soaring characteristic. I enjoy her songs in our native tongue more because she gives it more life.
