Thank you for the tour; enjoyed this very much and what a really nice motorhome you have. I really like the Autotrail motorhomes from what I have seen. There are others I like as well but these ones seem to have a lot of storage and seating area/s.

Always love Autotrail. Over the last 3 yrs we have had 3 motorhomes. First a Tracker then a v line then Roller Team Pegaso. Loved everyone but we struggled being stuck on site. So we have gone back to caravan..a coachman vip 460. Happy days😁😁 great vlogs!

Hi Michele and Keith. Great to see you back with a vlog, and this was, as usual, easy watching in your friendly style, informative and very thorough. You covered every aspect of your great looking motorhome, and if anyone was considering buying, this was really helpful. We've had motorhomes in the past, and might do so again if our needs and style of camping/travel change from our present caravan, so we know exactly where you've been with the change of vehicle. If we do, the build quality and design of Auto Trail would be our first port of call, with the masses of clever storage and features that they build in. Also good to see again the extra useful things you have added in, such as the crockery storage, the mirror and the privacy curtain - very practical and also "noise-cancelling!". What a lovely motorhome 👍🏻😃 Lots of really practical cupboards and designs making it a very easy van to live in all year round. We love Duvalay and miss our fixed bed. We don’t have as much storage as you in Smirf but we tend to just take what we need these days and anything that we think is not required (such as a barbecue or levelling blocks) we leave them at home. Lovely motorhome! Hope you're both enjoying it! A tip for you if you hadn't heard it already. When making the French bed it is a nightmare tucking the duvet in. If you buy a cheap plastic childs plate you can use this to tuck the covers in along the back wall. It works like a charm!

When we first decided to get into this lifestyle we looked at campers ,motorhomes and then we decided to go with a caravan, Which at the moment we still prefer, but you never know at some point we may follow into a motorhome but not at this time . Nice MH, hope you have some great times. Regarding the fan above the kitchen area, we sometimes use ours to draw in air to help with pushing out steam, etc, from the washroom, obviously you need to open washroom rooflight. Hope you find this useful.

Good video of your new MH. Not for me I’m afraid seems cramped small kitchen area and shower compared to my twin axle Caravan with island bed at the back big kitchen area and big seating area at the front. But each to their own just couldn’t manage without the tow car either. Happy Caravanning
Hi dafarmer21, Many thanks for watching. Our motorhome is smaller than our previous caravan, but we do find it quite spacious (apart from the washroom 😀) and the space suits our needs. What a lovely Motorhome, we had the Auto Trail Savannah with 2 fixed rear single beds 😀
Michele, you mentioned about the high step up into the Motorhome, we use a black double step when we are on site, that fits great and make it’s much easier to access and egress the van.
One thing I noticed, when you were showing the cabinets, the one underneath the cooker, please be careful not the cover the drop vents in the floor for any gas leaks 👍 not trying to teach anyone to suck eggs.
We miss our Auto Trail, but like most people the first Motorhome will never tick all the right boxes.

Thanks Keith great to see you like your Autotrail, we certainly love our Frontier. You may want to double check about the speed limits you can do. My understanding is that it’s all to do with the unladen weight of the vehicle not what it is plated to carry and that all motorhomes can do 70mph on a motorway but heavier vehicles have lover limits on single/ dual carriageways.

We are considering getting a “stick and lock” 2tier shower gizmo for our van (Croydex) and would ask if yours has lost any suction or caused any issues? Noted you had it low down in your shower so was wondering if this was due to it possibly falling?

Hi Dino, Well spotted 😀 We had this twist & lock caddy in the caravan & transferred it to the motorhome but it doesn’t stay fastened to the shower wall, so we don’t use it any more. Hi lovely motorhome. We have been narrowboaters , caravanners and we now have a new to us motorhome. Just a question out of interest......do you every miss the luxurious space in a caravan? If I was being honest I do love our motorhome "sydney" but I find the washroom a real compromise and miss the one we had in our last caravan. However I know there is usually a compromise😀

The only “niggle”, like you say yourself, is the washroom which is small but it’s a case of adapting & figuring out the best way to use it. As you say, it is a compromise. Great video, so much so we have just traded our caravan and signed for a 2019 version of the Tracker FB. Just one question. have you had it up-plated as I seem to feel we might be a bit tight on what we can take along with us. I am quite heavy (well over the 75kg that all the sites seem to allow) and we also have a rescued retired racing greyhound who is no lightweight and will eat into our weight limit. Have you been to a weighbridge to check your weight?
