  • Mines of Tuolumne County Loaded with Dragons Blood
HUGE MINE EXPLORE Multi drift tunnels loaded with hanging and oozing dragon's blood (a formation found growing inside abandoned mines). Somewhere up in the hills of Tuolumne County.
Several shafts one of them completely flooded but most of these mines are loaded with tracks also. There is so much amazement in colors and formations of flowstone and the beginning stalactites, and then major collapses all over the place in fact in one of the flooded mines we didn't go any further because the entire ceiling has come down with massive boulders.
That huge thing with all the pistons and the camshaft, that is a stamp mill that has been salvaged and restructured elsewhere. A huge wheel would have been turned by a belt or all of this propelled by steam power, those pistons would move up-and-down individually and turned by horizontal Cam shaft. As they would go up they would be released down and then smashing on the Ore to get the quality goods that being gold. These tunnels are also riddled with very soft nasty red clay mud and oil mixed in, it's always good to have boots and a gas meter that detects for different gasses.
As I've said before in my video introductions we never know how far they go or what's inside. We've got one heck of a group right now it is really solid, All of us are on the same page with no kinks. Take a look through these pictures every one of them and see the awesomeness that we explored today. See more of what we do in the Underworld beneath our county on my TH-cam channel.

TRUE STORY...Back in the early 70's my family lived around Pine Grove Ca. My stepdad knew a guy who had an elevator in his shop ran by cables that went down 160ft to an under ground river. This property was a few miles North on the road leading out of Volcano Ca. On the way we stopped at what looked like an old abandoned commercial mining site. There was a big rocky hill with a big tunnel going all the way through it. We walked through the tunnel to the other side and on the way out I noticed light where I could climb up to the hilltop. I was making my way through the boulders when I felt something looking at me. I turned to my left and looked up to see a huge red eye with a black slit looking at me. from the eye I quickly processed the head and realized I was looking at a giant lizard. It's eye was 4in. or so in diameter and the head was bigger than a horses head. That's all I saw because I was dinner so I RAN screaming. I did a little research when I got older and read that in the 1850's South Sea Islanders were brought in to mine for gold in that area. They must have brought young Komodo dragons with them and they are still living in those old mines.

Do you know about the mine right by the North Fork Tuolumne River just a little bit southeast of Tuolumne City? It has miles of tracks and different paths to explore! It’s accessible from the right side of the river by a 10 min drive on dirt road, then 2.5 miles hike all downhill
