I feel like this was the last season where the show felt authentic & focused on Harlem. After Season 5, BIC became more like generic reality TV, where the focus was on the cast taking trips to cool locations, following Sky's "plastic surgery journeys" & really scripted scenes & relationships. I have nothing against the newer cast members like Young Bae but they just come across as reading lines or trying to act rather than living their lives authentically. You can also tell that the language in the shop became more sanitized & unnatural

I feel like this was the last season where the show felt authentic & focused on Harlem. After Season 5, BIC became more like generic reality TV, where the focus was on the cast taking trips to cool locations, following Sky's "plastic surgery journeys" & really scripted scenes & relationships. I have nothing against the newer cast members like Young Bae but they just come across as reading lines or trying to act rather than living their lives authentically. You can also tell that the language in the shop became more sanitized & unnatural
