I really don't understand people who's expecting 30 yo axl voice or smt... Bruh, he's over 60... Crowd is there just to "see" them live cuz we all have dreams/wishes seeing them alive in that crowd b4 they/we die... Just enjoy the memory, don't expect smt not possible. Love from Turkey ❤
Actually there are many singers who maintain their original voice until their death. But Axl is clearly not one of them and it's understandable. He's been through a lot.

But back to Axl, he is in his 60s and has quit using drugs which has slightly messed up his voice to where my grandpa could probably sing better then him. And he has been losing the weight that he gained back in 2006-2016, so that is also good.
Pity they wouldn’t tune down another half step for Axl. Even a full step. Give him a chance. He’s practically in falsetto for most of it 🤦♂️. It’s like The Bee Gee’s doing Guns

And it would sound less severe than when most bands do it (who record in standard tuning) The crowds ears are nearly there already so to speak. The only obstacles may be certain players of string instruments 🎸 may have to change the guage strings they use (or may not) but it’s a small price to pay for the vocals to sound better imo. It’s practically a necessity at this stage imo
He needs to lose some damn weight. Hetfield is fit now and he sounds so much better from a few years when he got chubby. Look Vince Neil same thing, big gut can’t hit the notes like axl.
