Eric Clapton at 78 or Paul Mccartney at the age of 80, even brian Johnson after screaming for 40+ years all kept more of their voice than axl did and they performed live a lot more. Axl's voice is just gone. I don t know what axl did with his voice because Mccartney has performed for 65+ years and sounds better than axl. He is pretty much the only Singer from the late 80s who has damaged his voice so much

La historia qué Del James escribió, esta en el cuento "Without you", el lo escribió, entre otras cosas basado en como veía la relación de Axl y Erin.
Axl leyó el cuento y tomo parte de inspiración para acabar de escribir November Rain, y también escribir Estranged.
También, de ese cuento, salio la inspiración de escenas del propio video de November Rain, ya qué en el cuento, la novia muere después de dispararse en la cabeza.
De ahí qué en el vídeo oficial la novia muera inesperadamente.

I have seen some criticize Roses voice but I think he's sound pretty damn good considering his age and the fact he probably wears out his voice singing and touring constantly. It takes it toll on your voice and I suspect that is why he sounds better in some recent videos compared to others. He's still got it though.

I also heard he wanted to get away from the more raspy sounding voice so now he sounds this way. It's better this way so he doesn't completely ware his vocals out.

There's definitely a difference when he takes a few days off between shows a lot of times the sounding is because he won't try to hit the high notes when he's played a show the night before

@@dijon3240 Sí, después de los shows tenía mucho dolor de garganta, porque tensaba mucho la voz. Y también que tuvo una grave consecuencia en los nódulos y no puede hacer muy bien la legendaria voz.

@@dijon3240 El caso es que Axl forzó mucho su voz y la consecuencia fue perderla. Axl tenía un tono muy alto y gracias a eso tuvo problemas con los nódulos que tuvo que remover. Sabía que nunca sería capaz de cantando y tuve dos cirugías más para mejorar y usar el impulso. Pero solo puede usarlo de vez en cuando, si no pierde la voz. Pero es un canto legendario ...

Seeing Axl and Slash jamming warms my heart there is no Guns and Roses without the heart and the soul together. Right here right now the people could use a heavy dose of hope filled rock n roll to let them know we're all in this together. Rock n Roll was born from the same spirit our Republic was. Independent and defiant we won't ever submit to tyrannical dictates and mandates. You can't kill the spirit and you can't kill the music. It's time to finish what our founding fathers started and reset our Republic back on it's foundation.

I think I was 8 or 10 when this song and video came out. I remember listening to it and thinking there's no way something can so beautiful. Even as a silly little kid I was able to understand that this was more than just a song and the band that created it are the most talented people on earth.

I actually really enjoyed this version of "November Rain". In my opinion, the best concerts of The Guns N' Roses "Not In This Lifetime World Tour" were during 2016 and 2017. Houston Texas in August 2016 was the best show in 2016, and the Apollo Theatre Show in July 2017 was certainly in the Top.3 shows of 2017. GN'R'S concerts in 2016 were really good in South America, the Crowds over there certainly added the atmosphere to those concerts. Also in 2017 the shows in Japan were quite good and in Melbourne Australia that was a great show, as it encapsulated the atmosphere of 80,000 fans and the band were on fire. I'm from Sydney NSW Australia so that maybe bias on my behalf, but GN'R noted on their Twitter that the show in Melbourne was in its Top.5 shows that they had done so far on the NITL Tour. Minhas lembranças com o Guns são antigas, meu pai tinha um DVD com vídeos dos anos 80 e 90 e o de November Rain sempre foi o meu favorito. Depois, na adolescência, me tornei fã devota e fiz muitos amigos através da música deles. Agora não me considero mais "fã", mas ainda ouço as músicas e vira e mexe vou ver como eles estão. Enfim, é bom vê-los juntos novamente.
