Kent Inlet - Laredo Channel Princess Royal Island, BC

Aug. 26-27, 2022 - Once through the shallow and rocky entrance of Phillips Narrows and a second narrows partway, we anchored in the SE head with views of a small corner cascade and a tidal waterfall. The inlet features a third narrows that leads to a large back lagoon, jumping salmon, and better odds of seeing elusive Kermode Bears. This is part of the Kitasoo Spirit Bear Conservancy and Great Bear Rainforest. Foam from the 100' wide terraced tidal falls creates white water (bubbles).
