So, fun fact : Abed IS in the background in one episode of Cougar Town ! And who's to say you won't see some familiar faces from Cougar Town for a brief second in a future Community episode (not a spoil as it's litteraly a half a second shot super easily missable and not at all essential to the story of the episode it's in, same as Abed's cameo in Cougar Town)
I always wondered if that meant that abed actually did go to the cougar town set, and him running off in the cougar town scene was him having that "accident"
The episode was directed by Richard Ayoade, the actor/writer/director who Played Moss on The IT Crowd (don't know if that show is in your queue but it's really funny.) There's a lot of Abed in Richard Ayoade.
I love this episode, but “we had better parties and we had worse” is a beautiful line to me for some reason. Just accepting that not everything has to be a new high. Idk

i have to agree, abed acting and talking like a normal person is quite unsettling. this was a very fun episode. i didnt watch the movie my dinner with andre, but i did look up the actors, and the grand nagus is in it. so it must be a great movie.
I appreciate this episode a lot, When I was growing up I had really bad anxiety based around my fear being hated, So in turn I never made any lasting friendships bc id never really be genuine with them id lie about stupid stuff like sharing hobbies or interests bc I dint want them to dislike me for 1 reason or another. This episode always remind me that the real loved ones wont turn their back on you over insecurities. (sorry for mini lore dump) Great reaction keep up the hard work!

This episode reminds me of that one episode where Troy had his birthday and they all went out to that bar.
