When I saw the title of the video in another channel I guessed that sheikh haytham will approve the work and say that it is halaal. I was shocked by his fatwa. As a very young seeker of knowledge, I knew by pieces of evidence that it was haram.May Allah rectify the matters of our people.

Also, could you clarify what you meant by the "witness" would also be cursed. Abu Jibril well you're not carrying alcohol or selling it on other company's behalf so it makes sense that what you are doing is halal. I'm not a scholar I'm just going by the video

About 27:45 in the video, you were talking about how a haram act becomes halal due to Necessity (daroorah), and you mentioned that there are 2 conditions that it has to fulfil in order for it to become a Necessity, but brother Saad mentioned that there are 3 conditions instead.
Howewer, you all then agreed that there are 2 MAIN conditions for a haram act to fall under the category of becoming a Necessity (daroorah) and therefore making the act halal. The 2 main conditions you mentioned are the following:
1) That a serious harm is going to reach you if you do not do this haram act;
2) That there cannot be any other alternatives.
Since you did not mention the 3rd condition which brother Saad was referring to, I was just curious about what that condition actually is, so please do mention it.

Walaikum al salam.. it is to not indulge in the haram more than there is a need for it... which i kind of referred to before i spoke about the conditions... i.e if you need t drink alcohol in the desert out of fear of death, you don't drink the whole pint, just enough that will allow you to survive i.e a sip or two or however much it takes...

It's so hard for the Muslims in the west especially the younger generation it's like everything is haram and if they can't find alternative then they should go without such As education or working a honest living may Allah make it easy for us All Ameen the only question I have if you could answer is how far do we go with this would working at McDonald's be haram because your serving meat that isn't halal or cleaning a shop that sells alcohol or even cleaving a bank that deals with interest need clarification on these subjects may Allah bless you

I am just slightly disappointed because you put 'pork' in the title but never mentioned it once. I was waiting the whole video for it. Please clear that up aswell. What about things that are not haram itself but are used for haram for example muscial instruments?

akh quick question, if I pick up a bottle of alcohol or can or whatever that someone has left outside my house and then put it in the bin as it is in the way would I come under "carrying alcohol" ?
ammar madni no because your not carrying it in the means of delivering it but in the means of disposing of it. allah knows best. my opinion
ammar madni This type of carrying fall under this more specific hadeeth which refers to things which are part of Imaan. One of them is removing harm from the streets. So I'm a situation where a Muslim carries a bottle of alcohol but he's intending to remove it and dispose of it then this is a good thing and part of Imaan InshaAllah
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Iman has sixty odd or seventy odd branches. The uppermost of all these is the Testimony of Faith: 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no true god except Allah) while the least of them is the removal of harmful object from the road. And shyness is a branch of Iman."

Assalaamulaikum, pls cud u clarify about serving pork in a work place. I work in a nursery and I have to be present when it is meal times when pork is being served, does this fall under the same category as alcohol or is it sinful at all?
My father runs a business and he sells alcohol. He's the breadwinner and no one else can support our family (i.e. no one else works). Does that mean that we're cursed since he buys everything for us?

Aslamualkum brother Imran. Is it permissible for me to work at walmart ( recently started to sell alcohol) I work at the pharmacy where we don't scan or sell alcohol at our tills. It's only the front cashiers, because I work at Walmart will is still be considered haram? I have been working since October and they started to sell alcohol about 2 months ago?

Can drinking loads of alcohol or smoking cigarettes be seen as suicide - when one dies because of it, the fatal damage it caused to your body...this leading & being the reason of your death - can this be seen as suicide in Allah's judgement , in the future ?

As some have mentioned that it doesn't mean it is the worst sin.. but the the thing that leads to most filthy sins... to refer to something as the mother of something in 'Arabic means you are saying this thing is something that other things revolve around for example al Fatiha is called Umm al Qur'an because the meaning of the other Surah's all revolves around al Fatiha... ... so it doesn't mean it is the worst of sins but the one that leads to most evil sins.. i.e people murder due to being drink, and rape and fornicate ... etc .. but no doubt shirk is the WORST and most evil of alllll sins!
