Sobiya Jawaid is inspiring and humble in equal measure. It was a pleasure interviewing her and getting some motivational insights into her journey from elite level kickboxing to leadership coaching.
About Sobiya Jawaid:
Sobiya is a career mum, professional performance and life coach, diversity and inclusion coach, educator, charity worker and kickboxer. Sobiya qualified as a Personal Performance and Life Coach, passing with a Distinction with The Coaching Academy, one of the world’s leading coaching providers .
She has worked within the education sector for over a decade, ran her own business, worked as an Executive Director of Madina Institute UK and trained within the sport of kickboxing for over a decade.
She is a strong woman from an ethnic background, born and raised in England who embraces all aspects of her identity.
Despite meeting challenges in life, the key to her growth has been resilience and the desire to be a better version of herself. She believes that within each one of us is the power which is strong enough to create change - one person can change the world.
