I got a GF-1 semiauto shotgun in July . Has been 100 percent . 2 3/4 and 3in. X #2 shot . Have taken several geese and dove with it . Short butt stock is great for my layout blind . Got it on a promo sale for $219.00 . Awesome gun !

Did you buy a shorter buttstock, or did it come with it?
I am considering buying a GF-1 or the Stevens 560 compact since I am 5'6'' and need a short length of pull.
@@WildGameEncounters the butt stock measures 10 3/4in. My other shotguns are 12in. to 13 1/4in.

First day in Idaho the doves were packing it up to go to Kansas! My honey hole usually has tons of Eurasians this year nothing, different year!! Oh well more time for the Rollers, competitions start next month.

👏 My hats off to you Bro. That was some fine shooting and some AWESOME Retriever work 🤣. No seriously finding Doves in that kinda situation is NOT easy at all. Where are you from / Hunting, State? If you’re ever looking for an extra person to come Bird Hunting with ya I’ll make it worth your while. I’ll bring all the fixings for a Big Ole Gumbo and some Boudin that’ll knock your socks off. Also you mentioned that this Gun felt a lot like another Gun you use. Can you elaborate a little more on that. I’m really interested in getting one, but I don’t know of anyone around me that has any for me to see how they feel.
Can you do a in-depth review of the gforce one do because I can’t seem to find any review videos on TH-cam.
Never heard of Gforce arms until i watched this vid. Checked out the website and that is one slick looking piece of equipment. Can't find a price on it though or a dealer close to where i live in LA. It had my curiosity, now it has my attention lol
They are definitely new on the scene! If I remember right, they founded in 2020!
I believe the “One”I have starts at $699!? But they started with home defense/tactical shotguns and are now starting to branch out into the hunting side!
I really look forward to trying to break this gun but I imagine that it’s going to take whatever I throw at it!
Jordan, Great video! I like the new shotgun. A question about preserving the dove following cleaning and soaking. Do you prep the dove for freezing or do you eat them right away? How do you avert freezer burn?

I try to use them right away! But for the few that do make it to the freezer, I clean and soak the boneless breast filets and use a vacuum sealer to keep them from freezer burn! If you don’t have a vac sealer you can put them in a ziplock with water and that will help a ton with freezer burn!
Good stuff. Hardly anything flying around here after opening day. How's the quality of that shotgun? This thing has my curiosity peaked.
So far I’m impressed! But I plan on doing a more thorough review of it once I’ve put it through a few months of wear

I know you said you shoot a full choke, but was curious on the brand?
I had the stock full choke in!
I was the one aggervating you about the impala. I bought one and am very happy with it. That being said how does the g force compare to it. I can see the extended tube being a big plus. Anything else
Also that was great shooting
I like how light the Impala is in comparison but the “one”is basically a Benelli SBE2 clone. Both are very comfortable guns to me and it’s hard to beat the Impala as a budget. But the One comes with upgrades that I think can make a convincing argument for value.
The oversized bolt handle and button are really nice features. Like you said, the tube. And I forgot to mention the (transferable) lifetime warranty!
I need to put more rounds through it and see what kinks and features I find though
@JordansHarvest I understand completely. I basically wanted a turkey gun with chokes. Believe or not I'm 46 been a die hard turkey hunter for years and have always used a model 12 3 inch mag that weighs 10 pounds and has fixed choke. I think the impala is gonna do great for me. One complaint is it does kick like a mule with longbeard turkey shells but it shoots them great.
Since you bought the shotkam has your shooting gotten better? Also, how do you tell lead distance and how far target is away from you in shotkam, asking in the sense that it would help to know this to become a better shot.
It definitely has helped! The first thing I noticed was my follow through improved dramatically. It also helped a lot with leading! I’ve also recovered more birds due to being able to pull up the footage right away.
As far as distance goes, that’s a hard one. There are so many factors that go into the lead. Speed, distance, and angle all matter. I guess the short answer is that I shoot a lot. Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you
@JordansHarvest no, you answered it, and thank you. I guess would you say it's worth it? Or would you say seeking professional help is better? Because I heard people say it's better than professional and cheaper, unless you're probably going to the Olympics.

The first two shot’s actually! That’s why I went back to the truck and added lube. I should have oiled it up before I went out but I forgot. Zero issues after that even with no break in and light loads

It depends but recently I’ve been using them or gifting them! I like to use them the next day though. Clean birds, give them a day to soak, make some of my favorite meals is typically the order of events

So far i really like it! But I’ve run less then a box of shells so far.
But the value seems really good! Coming with oversized bolt handle and button not to mention the extension tube. It also has a lifetime warranty

Full is just what I’ve always used! And shooting starlings will get you ready for just about everything lol

They sure are. Two’s a meal.
There isn’t much to a dove but they add up quick! A limit is 30 poppers or enough for a bunch of fajitas or quesadillas!
