I enjoyed every minute of it! Thanks for the memories! Don't be too rough on yourself,15 birds out of a box of shells, on a morning shoot, and at doves is GOOD, any day!
I have to tell you as much as I love watching your videos and also Bobby Guy it is painful sometimes. Unless you r a 5th generation member of the farm owners down here the only thing u r going to harvest is a arm trespassing charge. Never take for granted what u guys have. Watching u walk into the fields with ur guns without a worry in ur face is amazing. Here we pay $250 a day for a dove hunt or show up a dawn to get a 4pm spot on public land. Honestly I would rather shoot sporting clays which is something we have adapted Tobin South Florida. Maybe one day I will move to Kansas
That looks like a blast!!! Yesterday I was able to fill out my first ever limit, hunting a disked cornfield in IA; and I can still feel the adrenaline rush just watching this video.
Awesome video as always. Really enjoy the shotkam footage. Can’t wait for the next video and I’m glad September is finally here. Our dove opener is tomorrow here in SC and can’t wait to get in the field.
Great hunt. We had an awesome morning in eastern Colorado. 5 guys with limits shooting over Milo. Birds came alive in big groups around 7:00 and we were done by 8:30.
Your shotkam videos are awesome. I got mine last fall but with the recoil of all shells it makes the birds leave the frame almost everytime. Tried different ways to shoot the gun but it seems like no help yet. Shooting a Remington 1187 currently. Wondering if some of these new guns might have less kick up recoil to them.
Here is a sunflower field story for you. Years ago we were running the UKC Nite Hunt circuit with our hounds. We were at a qualifier for the UKC World in Iowa and our cast of handlers had some bad blood from competitions earlier that year. Well the chirping and accusations started and things heated up quickly. Well our guide put us on the edge of a sunflower field and all 4 dogs struck and quickly treed about a quarter of a mile in. Well one of the handlers accused another handler of treeing his dog off off another handler's dog. On the was into the tree pissed handler knew the other handler was right behind him and bends a sunflower plant with a full early August head over at a 45 degree angle and lets it go. The plant snaps back and drills the 2nd handler squarely in the upper chest. Dropped the guy to the ground. I was 3rd in the line and clearly saw it was deliberately done. The ensuing altercation got both handlers DQ-d by the judge. That was wild.
Just wanted to say how impressed i am with your videos. Always top notch quality. One thing I will say is that not all public ground, in Kansas, requires steel/ non toxic shot. Only areas designated non toxic only are you required to hunt all species with steel shot. Good luck with the rest of your season.
Limited out for the first time in years today. Also got my first collared dove. Rained hard and unable to hunt til 7:45 and out by 9. Would love a recipe for the poppers!
Nothing like opening day of the season.Yeah you missed a few but the practice on the starlings has paid off I think.Nice work on getting you and your friends bag full. Here's hoping the rest of the season will be like this one for you.Keep it up from Australia.
Hello Jordan, I'd appreciate it if you could tell us what the limits are for each quarry as you film, we have no limits in UK for any species as long as it's on the list of those we can shoot. We only have wood pigeons, collared doves and feral's but aren't allowed to shoot rock doves. Take care, Norfolk, UK Ray
What kind of shotgun is that looks nice i just bought the savage renegauge and loved it used it on dove season opening over here in California killed 15 in 2hrs
Been dove hunting opening day a lot in my life time always in Texas. Today was the 1st time it rained! It stopped. They did fly a little. Shot 27 times. 8 birds. Hope to get the rest tonight
Hi Jordon, love the videos and love dove hunting! I recently got a SBE3 for dove and waterfowl and knew that it shot high but with dove hunting its been challenging. What's your advice, since you also use a SBE2 and your shotkam seem like you're aiming dead on with a lead and not above the bead? How did you make the adjustments?
I really don’t think about it to be honest. I’ve shot that gun for 10ish year I think. It’s all just muscle memory! The SBE2 doesn’t seem to shoot as high as the 3 though, in my experience
He is using 12ga shotgun shells loaded with bird shot, the shell contains around 400 tiny pellets that make a 2 ft wide circular pattern used for shooting small game birds.
Love your videos Jordan. I'm not certain about your state but in my state of South Dakota mourning doves are considered a migratory bird. This would make it illegal for you to use lead on private land along with public. Keep up the good work.
M8 don't be so hard on yourself , when it comes to shooting nothing is guaranteed . If you killed everything on the first try , what fun would that be ? Isn't the enjoyment of hunting the trial an error , so there is always something to talk about in the camp fire ? Keep up the good work. God bless y'all.
Been sitting around all day waiting for this exact video to drop. hunting season is finally here. Love the content man keep up the great work
Thanks so much!! I hope it doesn’t disappoint!
Got 1 dove and 1 pigeon this morning. For my first time, I called it a success. Nice limit!

Man! I can't wat for the Dove Opener this year!
Last year the weather put the Kibosh on our hunt.
Looking for redemption!
Great video Jordan.
Awesome video as always. Really enjoy the shotkam footage. Can’t wait for the next video and I’m glad September is finally here. Our dove opener is tomorrow here in SC and can’t wait to get in the field.
Thank you!!!
Good luck out there and be safe!!!
We got skunked in SW Missouri. No birds at one area and only a very few at the 2nd area.
As usual my friend's creator also has a wonderful smile❤
😁😁
Amazing man!!!! Great video as always. I'm doing some tonight. You definitely are my top go to channel man.
I can always count on you for excellent content!! Great hunt for you!! Took a hiatus during the summer but back now for the duration 😜
Been waiting on this one!!! Leading up to dove season not living in hometown these videos are getting me through until I can go slay some birds 🤙🏿
Nice limit buddy! I like that field looked pretty easy to find them! I can't wait to see the cook video my friend!
It was far from the worst field I’ve looked for birds in! The cook is coming!!
Hell yeah man I went this morning only got two there were flying to high
I was very fortunate this year!
Great hunt. We had an awesome morning in eastern Colorado. 5 guys with limits shooting over Milo. Birds came alive in big groups around 7:00 and we were done by 8:30.
WHOOO!!! Dove season!!! Cant wait for the vids man!!! Freaking love it
I’m pumped for it dude!!!
Good videos Jordan I always love you content been here sense Bobby shout you out man your amazing keep the work up
Good video. Be fun to get my 28ga in them. Stick few rds in your pocket. So if u r away from your box of ammo. And u run out u can reload and shoot .

Awesome hunt though! Wish we had dove fields like that around here. Most of ours the birds get blown off of in the first week.
Thanks!!!
I’ve found that lighter guns have somewhat of a tendon to do that. But a firm grip and good follow through has helped me a ton!

Wow! Sounds like that escalated quickly!

The day has finally come!!!
It’s finally here!!!

Great Video, I don't have a sunflower patch to hunt this year so I'm probably setting up in a cow pasture, any tips?
We had a blast this morning. Unfortunately I can't get videos out as quick as you. Great job
Awesome!!!
I always take September 1st off! It’s my holiday

Thank you for the correction!!!

Nothing like opening day of the season.Yeah you missed a few but the practice on the starlings has paid off I think.Nice work on getting you and your friends bag full. Here's hoping the rest of the season will be like this one for you.Keep it up from Australia.

What kind of shotgun is that looks nice i just bought the savage renegauge and loved it used it on dove season opening over here in California killed 15 in 2hrs
It’s a Benelli SBE2. Well done!
Been dove hunting opening day a lot in my life time always in Texas. Today was the 1st time it rained! It stopped. They did fly a little. Shot 27 times. 8 birds. Hope to get the rest tonight
Good luck out there!!! Send some rain our way If you can!

Thank you!!!
I’ve definitely had days like that lol!
Hi Jordon, love the videos and love dove hunting! I recently got a SBE3 for dove and waterfowl and knew that it shot high but with dove hunting its been challenging. Dang looks darn fun & are you using spread bullets or no

Thanks!!!
Man I’m jealous our season doesn’t start until Saturday here in Arkansas. Great hunt
Be safe out there dude!
Thanks!
What choke do you use
Yalls dove season opens sooner than ours down in Mississippi
September first is a holiday for me! How long do you have to wait?
Love your videos Jordan. I'm not certain about your state but in my state of South Dakota mourning doves are considered a migratory bird. This would make it illegal for you to use lead on private land along with public. Keep up the good work.
They are migratory birds for sure! But for some reason you can shoot dove and crows with lead on private here
Where’s the impala plus at?
It was in the car. I felt like going back to my first love on this one
My buddies an I crushed them this morning as well great video
Can you use lead on public land in Kansas?
Most (if not all) public is designated as steel only
Me and the buddy shot a 2 man limit just lost one and got 4 Eurasians not bad for public at all!
Nice video and missing is part of dove hunting, lol.
Thanks!
I definitely was humbled a few times!
7:18 was a dusty McAllen
😁😁😁
Late but still present 😁
🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
It looks like you're pausing a little tiny bit before you shoot and dropping the end of the barrel
I believe that is correct! I think I have a bit of a flinch that I need to solve
What choke where you using pls?
That is a Carlson cremator LR
got 4 dove and a pigeon... in 12 shot... Best shooting average ever on dove
Well done!
