- The Fógues make their acting debut as they go out in search of the "Mountain Dew". The song has been performed by countless groups over the years, including The Dubliners, Pogues, Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem.
While the song is as old as the hills, this modern twist brings it right up to the present day. See four time All-Ireland champion dancer Micheál Fogarty step it out to the infectious beat of this rousing tune; a favourite in the Fógues live repertoire.
The track was produced by Seamus Hennessy and the video was recorded by Matt Dawson.
The Fógues are comprised of three cousins: Micheál, Jack and William Fogarty, alongside their friend Ted O'Brien. Also starring in this video is James Rea, another friend of the group.

This was like a like warm blanket you wrap around you on a chilly evening, and then there is the bit of a punch from an grog to spicy things up. Love the music, love the scenery, love the original vw beatle (how can you not love this car) and I especially love the tap dancing. I take my hat of and raise a pint of plain to you sirs! Keep on grinding, and hope to see You on gig in Finland one day.
It's good!
If this doesn't lift yer spirits yer 6 feet under and facing the wrong way to get out!! Cheers fae the Scottish highlands.

Up the Fogues! 😃💪
Fantastic
Tremendous!
Watched this fun vid loads of times, great stuff like all the music from the Lads. BUT, I have promised myself, I am going to take a bike up that road when I am over in Ireland next time, and I don't mean a pushbike!! ;-)
A very scenic drive indeed! If you continue along that road another little bit, you can turn left for Mount Melleray and continue on another very scenic pass which ends up in the town of Newcastle. Or you can stay on this same road and end up in Lismore… Be sure before you ever go over the Vee to take in the Mitchelstown Caves and the town of Mitchelstown itself.
In other words, there’s no shortage of scenery here in mid-Munster! 😁
Well done. Make more.

@@the_fogues @the_fogues used my phone to see what song was playing, and this is where it took me. I'm glad I did, I think I've fallen down a rabbit hole I may never return from
