- With the recent evolution of PPF (Paint Protection Film) into Satin and Matte PPF it was only right that Yiannimize finally diversified and offered clear PPF installation as a service too. We've been asked to do PPF for YEARS... now we're ready!
Yianni's new Porsche 911 992 Carrera 4S protected with Avery Dennison SPF High Gloss Film.
PPF does what it says on the tin; it's a clear, transparent film that protects the original paintwork of your car and thus maintaining the colour.
If you're going to offer a new product you have to make a statement by backing that alternative on your own car.

topazskin and wrap are totally different
Agreed it is different but at the end of the day it does change the colour of the car

@@gazzabrownhigh8891 I don't think much will change, people who want PPF will still go Topaz since that's his specialty. people who want wrap will go Yanny since that's his specialty. only customers I see going to Yanny are people who want to wrap and PPF at the same time and want it done all at once.
@@ZZ-oi1be yea exactly, topaz has the more appealing product in my opinion but most likely the more expensive one also. Topaz is really designed for the high end market, whereas wrap is more spread out. Topazskins is the best of the best, from what I've seen, it is amazing

Its not that hard a job, I installed screen protector on my phone and it took me 14 minutes, i can do my car in 14 months with 14k bubbles, no big deal.

Happy for you guys, PPF is a really great market to break into with manufacturers nowadays coming up with better colours, owners really just want to keep the original colour whilst protecting it. Also, PPF is more expensive, so more $$$ hahaha

Gazza Brownhigh they have colour corrected it but doesn't show the full process on the camera, same thing as they do with wrap it's there business and yanni is doing work on exotics from long time so it will be nice

Also pre cutting is a great way to save money but make your cuts a quarter inch larger than the panel so you can overlap and won’t get build up of foreign materials where those cuts end, where it wouldn’t wrap into the gap.
Agreed, I’ve been told by many installers to never use a place that pre cuts or uses templates as the edges are never wrapped so they look bloody awful in a year or 2.

PPF has always been an interesting thing to watch it’s a real art form to do properly I’d love to learn how to do it but my skills are definitely more suited to mechanical and electrical automotive applications but who know maybe I should invest in a training course some day

You can ceramic coat on top of ppf too. Keeps it mirror like and deep looking for the life of the ceramic.

It's great you are starting to do PPF, just one very important note.
To have job guilty done, you need special room and at the moment doing at the garage is not.
It's require specific equipment ( search on the web ) and skills of course, but without both job won't be 100% perfect.
Just my 2 cents !

A major part of ppf is paint decontamination and correction. Would like to see more of that process or if that would be something done by Yanni
