At the end of the video I mentioned that I accidentally used too much of the foundation (the puff picks up way more than other cushions I've tried) and I'll keep playing with it and use less to see if that helps it to look better. I also plan to try it over primers and use different application methods. 🥰 I've used many, many cushion foundations and normally the way I applied it works fine...this one just took me by surprise by how pigmented it is!
Jen if you take the cushion and tap it off on the back of your hand before you apply it to your face that will make the application more even and also it takes some off so it's not such a heavy application

She is a school teacher, a religious lady, honest, and sadly just lost her mother. She is a refreshing watch if you have any extra time, lol!! ** The mascara wand is exactly the same metal straight tip used by my grand- mother and mother years ago,😅. robert welsh just posted a video yesterday about “makeup on mature skin “ and he showed how to properly apply cushion foundation for the best application, you were using you’re finger tips rather than the long parts of your fingers, i suggest scrubbing through the video and find where he shows how to apply it best, might give you a better application!
I feel like so many Americans do not yet have enough experience w/ cushion foundations, I keep seeing same mistake over & over, going in too heavy on initial application. Robert Welsh recently did a vid explaining how to properly apply cushion form...u wona gently dab ur puff in & basically not see any product on ur puff. Cuz it's there! We all know it's so much easier to add more vs take away product. Sorry, but I also learned the hard way & I don't want the Asian community laughing at how silly we are. Lol! 😚
I saw a korean youtuber who used the tirtir foundation, and she said the error in most of the tirtir application is that people use too much. she even used the back of the black lid cover to take away the extra foundation. I ordered mine early this morning, so hopefully it works for me, lol, we shall see.
Robert Welsh mentioned in his video that there is a specific way to apply the cushion foundation. He briefly shows it and then he mentions that he has a video on how to apply them coming out.
Most cushion foundations are more sheer/light so you can typically use them the way I did here and be fine, but I wasn't expecting the level of coverage that this one gives. You definitely need to only use a tiny bit. :)
I'm 65 and I love the Tir Tir. It held up really good, and no creasing. Of course I used primer and powder just like regular foundation. I did use a small amount and the coverage is good.
Great video! 😊 I love the Tir Tir foundation. Like many already have stated, I find that it's important to note that very little goes a long way. In addition to that, I also find that hydration and exfoliation is key for me to make this foundation work well. I have sensitive, dry skin, and use a very gentle PHA toner. When I exfoliate regularly, and use a hydrating serum before I do my make up, this is the most beautiful foundation ever to me. Absolutely gorgeous. It has great coverage, gives a nice glow, no enlarged pores, it sits well on top of serums and spf, doesn't pill at all, and it lasts a long time. The finish is flawless.
Agree 100%. I have very dry skin and am 58. I use super moisturizing skin prep, which my skin loves, and this foundation is gorgeous and lasts all day. I use very little and love the value. 😬😎

I’ve been using TirTir foundation for about a month and really love it. Good coverage, but doesn’t feel or look heavy. Does last a long time. I know, because I fell asleep one night on the sofa and it still looked great when I woke up the next morning. I’m 77, normal/dry skin, fine lines, larger pores on nose and chin, use a moisturizing primer.
Wow that's amazing! I do like how thin it is...it didn't feel heavy at all despite being full coverage. I'll have to play with it more to see if I can get it to look smoother on me.

I am over 50 and I love TirTir Cushion Foundation. Doesn't emphasize any imperfections which I believe I have got more than you..My skin is also dry. The way the TirTir cover is so graceful for me even after hours of wear, Complexion can be so different on who wears what I think
Absolutely! It could also depend on how dry your skin is, mine is like the Sahara even if I moisturize well. Sometimes longwearing foundations are a little bit drier and even if I had no imperfections, they would still look cakey/dry on me.
I am 54 and just bought that foundation a week ago. I r been using it every day and love it on my desert dry skin. But I apply with my own sponge and tap in very lightly. If I pick up too much I tap it on the back of my hand first.
So disappointed in the Tir Tir foundation. Not a good range of colors. One was too dark & other too light. The 2 colors in between no longer making I guess bcuz I can’t order it anywhere. It’s Not available except on Amazon & a few other websites. Tired of people (influencers) cashing in on a product that we all waste money on! I had my first child at 20. As a single mom for many years, I couldn't afford much makeup. Now, I'm 50. My kids are grown. I'm single again. If I want to spend my money on makeup, I surely will. It's a non-guilty pleasure.
I had mine at 19 and have been single. He’s now 18. For years I only wore a Covergirl stick concealer and some blush. Then a little while back I started getting back into it. I still don’t buy everything I want but it’s nice to be able to spoil myself sometimes!

Keep trying with the Tir Tir, you need only about a quarter of what you put on. Less product, more patting. Btw, I picked up the Catrice face palette you used the other day (like a smaller version of the Makeup Forever one) and I love it! Will be perfect for traveling! I always layer cream under glow powder for those 18 hrs days.
Have you ever tried the Benefit Porefessional primer? I found if I used that, gave about 5 minutes to set, and then used a light , light dusting of translucent powder , then applied my foundation with a sponge applicatore, it seemed to help stop my foundation from sitting in my pores. Alternatively, you could try a cream to powder foundation, that may help as well. ❤ Also, using AHA'S, glycolic and lactic acid treatments really helped to minimize my pores. I hope this helps. ❤

I bought the TIRTIR cushion foundation and I have been enjoying it, especially for long work days. I have really oily skin, so oily that my makeup often breaks up by the end of the day even when I set it with powder or setting spray, but the cushion foundation actually stays. It doesn’t budge and it covers acne breakouts in one pass. I often have to do touchups throughout the day with other foundations, but with the TIRTIR, I didn’t have to do any touchups and didn’t have my oils break through until 6 hours later. I will say, the colors are tricky to match and a little goes A LONG way. Amazon had a set of mini packet samples for $1.50 and I’m so glad I purchased that first. I was thinking I would be 21W and it was way more yellow than I was expecting (like how it was for you). I ended up being 21N Ivory. The sample set doesn’t include all of the new colors, but for anyone wanting to try it out and can’t figure out a good color match based on the swatches online, I would recommend the samples first!

I have dry to normal skin with eczema and rosaciea. The dewy tir tir silver pack in 21n is perfect for winter wear here. Did not crease no patches of skin showing. New shade range was a definite improvement. Skin tone evened out beautifully. I have very uneven yellow tones to my skin. Hard to find foundation I can use without concealers. I am 57yo so coming from a mature woman who has tried many things over the years.
I was debating getting the cushion foundation but I think I will pass. I do want to try the different blush formulas. They all look so beautiful. I really LOVE my blushes. The mascara also seems to be very interesting. Your eyes are popping with the lovely eyeshadows. Thanks for sharing such an honest opinion. You always help me from not wasting my money. ♥️♥️♥️
Hi Jen! So glad to see you delving more into K beauty! I have many of the items you tried in the video today. Like you, when I first tried the Tir Tir cushion, I found it cakey and heavy (I have dry skin, I'm in my 40s too). I almost returned it to Amazon. I encourage you to give it another try - it's truly indelible. To make it work, I tap the puff very lightly on the cushion, then pat off the extra on the black lid (a lot!) until it's super thin and barely visible on the puff and apply a very very thin layer. Work in sections too as it seems to set fast. I also have to prep my skin well and when I do that, it looks so much better. I am waiting for the Missha BB to come in the mail (bought it on your recommendation) and I've tried the Judy Doll eyeliner (unfortunately not waterproof). Keep these K-beauty videos coming. :)
I’m 60 with desert dry skin and got the Tirtir cushion to work beautifully by using the same method described above. A little really does go a long way! With the proper skin prep, I can get this to actually be glowy on my complexion.

As always I appreciate seeing unsponsored reviews of “viral” products. Thus far I’ve only seen sponsored reviews of the TirTir (besides yours), I won’t be trying it - and I’ve been a K Beauty fan for years.
There are a couple of products that pair really well with it, but in general, I don't really like it either. I know people who rave about it, but it's not for my oily skin.

Hi Jen! I’m 57 and have dry skin as well, and I have had polka dot foundation before. It’s never a good look. 😣 And since I’m a grandmother of 3 adorable kids, I guess I’ll just own my “old lady” status and continue wearing eye shadow, because I love it too! I’ve worn makeup since I was in junior high, but 2020 is when I really started focusing on skincare and looking for products to really nourish my skin since I’d never dealt with dry skin in my younger years. Although I have been a remote worker for a number of years, video calls also really took off that year, so no makeup wasn’t an option for me. It was quite the journey, but I so enjoyed it and began experimenting with makeup like never before too. And now, my collection has grown by a LOT, but I do have so much fun getting ready for my day. That is my me time. So thank you for your videos over these last several years. I’ve learned a lot and laughed a lot, and you are just a joy to watch. Truly makes my day when I see your videos pop up! ❤

Tirtir does have other cushion options with less coverage and more natural finish. The red one was the one that got viral but sincerely it´s not for every skin type, and most people trying them are way younger. Usually we have to press gently the puff into the cushion, but after we press in the inside plastic part to take the excess. But the red one is a high coverage and thats not for everyone. They also have new shades that are way less yellow then 21N... with Tirtir they tend to oxidise, but they have a sample option with 9 shades, and a smaller cushion that it´s cheaper and allow to test without spending too much.

Oh, how I wished you were wrong about the TirTir cushion foundation!! 😩 Halas, you were right!!! It's very very drying and highlights every dry spot on my face. To top it off, after trying it for 3 days with lots of different hydrating skincare, my face couldn't take it anymore! It was so dry, the skin was peeling off like it would with a sunburn and it looked both horrible and concerning 😟. Sadly, I had to return it. To those of you with dry, sensitive skin, this one may not be for you at all! Thanks for your honesty Jen!❤
I really wanted to try that mascara but it has parfum in it. I've used mascara with fragrance in the past and it made my eyes itch. That twinkly eyeshadow looks so pretty! Emma x

I have oily skin and hyperpigmentation just tried the tirtir cushion. I was blown away. Based on the finish I can see how dry skin types will not enjoy it but on my skin I'm ready to buy a back up!!
I love your content! I was so happy when I saw this! I have the same skin struggles you mentioned ; dry, textured cheeks, pores and mature skin. I found with this cushion, definitely less is more. Korean ladies like to pat off on the back of our hands or the back of the lid first. What ever you think is a light dip, go lighter! Don’t saturate the puff. Trust! it will get your whole face. Layer/build in light layers. Skin prep is everything! works beautifully! Beauty of Joseon sun serum is beautiful 🤩 paired with this : chefs kiss!
Hi Jen. I'm 70, and I just wanted to say that back in the late 1960s early 70s, mascara with a metal wand and no bristles was quite common. If my memory serves me correctly, I belive that Max Factor had one and perhaps Estee Lauder and I think there were a few others. Everything old is new again.

I used to use a mascara by Helena Rubinstein (first makeup product in my teens!) in the late ‘70’s and it had a metal wand. The only other mascara I’ve seen these days that has a metal wand is by Surratt.
Products are so different for everyone. I’m 43 and have normal skin, maybe a little dry in the winter and I’m loving the Tir Tir foundation!! I don’t cake it on and use a pore filling primer and it lasts all day on me…I apply a light layer of powder on top and I’m set for the whole day😊 I actually purchased it before it even went viral😂I loved the eyeshadow palette, blushes and lip products, definitely trying those out!! You’re look turned out so pretty❤

First of all I really enjoying watching your videos. I agree with you on the foundation as even in the studio lighting you can see how it settles into your forehead lines. I don’t think I’ve ever noticed them before with any other foundations you’ve tried. But you look lovely regardless 😊
I’m 70 and wear a full face of makeup, I feel weird without it unless I’m sick I then I won’t. Guess I got it from my mom who’s I heaven, I don’t remember any day where she wasn’t wearing her makeup and her hair was always done, boy she loved her red lipstick, I don’t look good in red lipstick but my sister does.❤❤
I just got the Tir Tir cushion foundation and I love it. I heard it’s not dry skin friendly though. I have normal skin but were the same age. I had to set mine with a powder and then I used a setting spray and it looked better the longer I wore it❤
I bought the Judy Doll lip jelly from a recommendation from Amanda Z. I just got it Wednesday. I absolutely love it. I purchased 2 shades and want them all now. Such a lovely product. The tint is just enough to notice but not so ridiculous like it walks in a room first. It quickly overtook all my lip products for what I want to wear.

Missha BB real signature complete is my overall favorite. I don’t see it in stock anymore. I wear 21 too. Agree that’s it’s less gray than the regular BB line. Beats high end and drugstore. Make my skin look natural and flawless all at the same time. Thank you for your awesome reviews!

I like the red TirTir cushion foundation so I ordered the silver and pink and the new blue one earlier this week. I’m curious about the difference in them all.
My first cushion foundation was Missha, and I loved it! There's definitely a learning curve with how much to apply and how to hold the actual cushion. I had my eye on that TirTir cushion after seeing Tati's video but I have very dry skin like you and now I'm worried that it won't work for me. I'll wait for your update before I purchase it.
I have super dry skin and the TirTir foundation settled into all my fine lines and aged me terribly, no matter how thinly I applied it. Too bad though, the finish is so beautiful (IF you can get a good color match.)
With drier skin it is better to use the glowy-moisturizing ones, like Clio Mesh Glow Cushion or Laneige Glow Cushion. This one is matte/semi-matte, so you would have to prep your skin very well, moisturizing it beforehand.
Another thing, and very important, is to avoid dragging the product with the cushion while you apply it to your face. It is advisable to tap, removing the excess product beforehand by using the plastic cover that avoids the product from drying. (Just a few taps over the plastic cover, and its ready).
🌹🌹🌹Omg, Jen, I literally got a pang in my stomach when you said that makeup isn't "in" anymore and eyeshadow is for old ladies... 😨😰😱 Please, don't ever stop making videos because I'm sure there are millions of people like me out there for whom makeup will always be "in", always! I bought the foundation and have been using it about 3 weeks now. I have normal to dry skin. It isn’t sweat proof but it looks so nice on my skin. I even received a couple compliments when i went out. I make sure not to use too much and i don’t have anything bad to say about it. I bought mine through Amazon.
I love the more greyish browns but seems like you dont see them as much as the warmer end of the browns .. loved the ampule blush so much!!! I think the same about how easy it is to go overboard with blush lol truly!!
For the cushion, I'd be interested to see if it makes a difference to try blotting off the cushion on the inside of the little flap and applying a lighter layer - a lot of the korean makeup artists and yotube girlies recommend that method for a smoother application
I have the Tirtir one, it is wonderful! I think using too much of the product definitely cause problem. Also try patting the cushion full face, “pat, pat, pat…” multiple times. It really helped cushion foundation to settle better on the face and it gives a nice blur finish. I used to not like cushion foundation, but once I started doing the patting motion full face couple times around, it changes the results a lot. I’m not sure the theory behind but it works. I wouldn’t use a brush for those cushion foundation. Give it a chance!

I received the Tirtir cushion foundation. I used the Dior primer and the foundation pilled all over. I'll try it again with a different primer and see how it does. I never have pilling! You look beautiful today especially your eyes.
I really had problems to remive the judydoll mascara even using oil cleanser. I now ordered a mascara remover from japan too, as they seem to be nessessary for these kinds of mascara.
Ahh I see you did get the tirtir foundation. Try it with your fingers, apply with a tap-tap and go thinner. If you use a brush, buff it in. The judydoll products look like my cup of tea!! Great video and please do more of these K-beauty hauls!!
Very intrigued by that super skinny eyeliner and that metal gloss applicator! I will be putting these items on my wish list for future consideration. I've never tried a cushion foundation before, but it does seem like there is a learning curve to the application process. And again, "viral" doesn't mean it will work for everyone! I think we seem to forget how personal makeup selection can be, especially with "viral" products!

Tati also powdered her face after putting on the Tir Tir foundation. That may have made a difference.

I saw a korean youtuber who used the tirtir foundation, and she said the error in most of the tirtir application is that people use too much. she even used the back of the black lid cover to take away the extra foundation. I ordered mine early this morning, so hopefully it works for me, lol, we shall see.
I'm going to try using less next time! I was shocked at how much came off the puff.

When you use a little of the Tirtir you don’t need anything else. No primer, no powder, no setting spray.
Robert Welsh mentioned in his video that there is a specific way to apply the cushion foundation. He briefly shows it and then he mentions that he has a video on how to apply them coming out.
Most cushion foundations are more sheer/light so you can typically use them the way I did here and be fine, but I wasn't expecting the level of coverage that this one gives. You definitely need to only use a tiny bit. :)

I'm 65 and I love the Tir Tir. It held up really good, and no creasing. Of course I used primer and powder just like regular foundation. I did use a small amount and the coverage is good.
Great video! 😊 I love the Tir Tir foundation. Like many already have stated, I find that it's important to note that very little goes a long way. In addition to that, I also find that hydration and exfoliation is key for me to make this foundation work well. I have sensitive, dry skin, and use a very gentle PHA toner. When I exfoliate regularly, and use a hydrating serum before I do my make up, this is the most beautiful foundation ever to me. Absolutely gorgeous. It has great coverage, gives a nice glow, no enlarged pores, it sits well on top of serums and spf, doesn't pill at all, and it lasts a long time. The finish is flawless.
Agree 100%. I have very dry skin and am 58. I use super moisturizing skin prep, which my skin loves, and this foundation is gorgeous and lasts all day. I use very little and love the value. 😬😎
I also use a PHA toner and prep my skin very well. But I think I used too much, so I'll keep playing with it. :)
I personally feel you should not have to do all this prep to make a foundation work. Pass.

I’ve been using TirTir foundation for about a month and really love it. Good coverage, but doesn’t feel or look heavy. Does last a long time. I know, because I fell asleep one night on the sofa and it still looked great when I woke up the next morning.
I’m 77, normal/dry skin, fine lines, larger pores on nose and chin, use a moisturizing primer.
Wow that's amazing! I do like how thin it is...it didn't feel heavy at all despite being full coverage. I'll have to play with it more to see if I can get it to look smoother on me.
@@JenPhelps I had the same experience as you with the Tir Tir but I figured I have enough other foundations that I don’t have to put up with fragrance or do any xtra special maneuvers to get a beautiful finish.

It also help to spray moisturizing mist after application.
I am over 50 and I love TirTir Cushion Foundation. Doesn't emphasize any imperfections which I believe I have got more than you..My skin is also dry. The way the TirTir cover is so graceful for me even after hours of wear, Complexion can be so different on who wears what I think
Absolutely! It could also depend on how dry your skin is, mine is like the Sahara even if I moisturize well. Sometimes longwearing foundations are a little bit drier and even if I had no imperfections, they would still look cakey/dry on me.
I am 54 and just bought that foundation a week ago. I r been using it every day and love it on my desert dry skin. But I apply with my own sponge and tap in very lightly. If I pick up too much I tap it on the back of my hand first.
I love it too and I’m 58 - I’m ditching my Nars and Dior foundations - Tir Tir is a keeper! I also use my own sponge
So disappointed in the Tir Tir foundation. Not a good range of colors. One was too dark & other too light. The 2 colors in between no longer making I guess bcuz I can’t order it anywhere. It’s Not available except on Amazon & a few other websites. Tired of people (influencers) cashing in on a product that we all waste money on! I had my first child at 20. As a single mom for many years, I couldn't afford much makeup. Now, I'm 50. My kids are grown. I'm single again. If I want to spend my money on makeup, I surely will. It's a non-guilty pleasure.
I had mine at 19 and have been single. He’s now 18. For years I only wore a Covergirl stick concealer and some blush. Then a little while back I started getting back into it. I still don’t buy everything I want but it’s nice to be able to spoil myself sometimes!

Keep trying with the Tir Tir, you need only about a quarter of what you put on. Less product, more patting. Btw, I picked up the Catrice face palette you used the other day (like a smaller version of the Makeup Forever one) and I love it! Will be perfect for traveling! I always layer cream under glow powder for those 18 hrs days.

I’m glad I not the only one who has pores show that obviously sometimes!! It’s a constant struggle to find the perfect combo.
Have you ever tried the Benefit Porefessional primer? I found if I used that, gave about 5 minutes to set, and then used a light , light dusting of translucent powder , then applied my foundation with a sponge applicatore, it seemed to help stop my foundation from sitting in my pores.
Alternatively, you could try a cream to powder foundation, that may help as well. ❤
Also, using AHA'S, glycolic and lactic acid treatments really helped to minimize my pores. I hope this helps. ❤

I bought the TIRTIR cushion foundation and I have been enjoying it, especially for long work days. I have really oily skin, so oily that my makeup often breaks up by the end of the day even when I set it with powder or setting spray, but the cushion foundation actually stays. It doesn’t budge and it covers acne breakouts in one pass. I often have to do touchups throughout the day with other foundations, but with the TIRTIR, I didn’t have to do any touchups and didn’t have my oils break through until 6 hours later. I will say, the colors are tricky to match and a little goes A LONG way. Amazon had a set of mini packet samples for $1.50 and I’m so glad I purchased that first. I was thinking I would be 21W and it was way more yellow than I was expecting (like how it was for you). I ended up being 21N Ivory. The sample set doesn’t include all of the new colors, but for anyone wanting to try it out and can’t figure out a good color match based on the swatches online, I would recommend the samples first!
I do think it's going to work a lot better on oily skin than dry. I'm so glad it works for you!

I have dry to normal skin with eczema and rosaciea. The dewy tir tir silver pack in 21n is perfect for winter wear here. Did not crease no patches of skin showing. New shade range was a definite improvement. Skin tone evened out beautifully. I have very uneven yellow tones to my skin. Hard to find foundation I can use without concealers. I am 57yo so coming from a mature woman who has tried many things over the years.
They have a sample pack that's like $5 or less if you wanna try it with low risk since so many people with different skin types love it.

I was debating getting the cushion foundation but I think I will pass. I do want to try the different blush formulas. They all look so beautiful. I really LOVE my blushes. Hi Jen! So glad to see you delving more into K beauty! I have many of the items you tried in the video today. Like you, when I first tried the Tir Tir cushion, I found it cakey and heavy (I have dry skin, I'm in my 40s too). I almost returned it to Amazon. I encourage you to give it another try - it's truly indelible. To make it work, I tap the puff very lightly on the cushion, then pat off the extra on the black lid (a lot!) until it's super thin and barely visible on the puff and apply a very very thin layer. Work in sections too as it seems to set fast. I also have to prep my skin well and when I do that, it looks so much better. I am waiting for the Missha BB to come in the mail (bought it on your recommendation) and I've tried the Judy Doll eyeliner (unfortunately not waterproof). Keep these K-beauty videos coming. :)
I’m 60 with desert dry skin and got the Tirtir cushion to work beautifully by using the same method described above. A little really does go a long way! With the proper skin prep, I can get this to actually be glowy on my complexion.

There are a couple of products that pair really well with it, but in general, I don't really like it either. I know people who rave about it, but it's not for my oily skin.

Hi Jen! I’m 57 and have dry skin as well, and I have had polka dot foundation before. It’s never a good look. 😣 And since I’m a grandmother of 3 adorable kids, I guess I’ll just own my “old lady” status and continue wearing eye shadow, because I love it too! I’ve worn makeup since I was in junior high, but 2020 is when I really started focusing on skincare and looking for products to really nourish my skin since I’d never dealt with dry skin in my younger years. Although I have been a remote worker for a number of years, video calls also really took off that year, so no makeup wasn’t an option for me. It was quite the journey, but I so enjoyed it and began experimenting with makeup like never before too. And now, my collection has grown by a LOT, but I do have so much fun getting ready for my day. That is my me time. So thank you for your videos over these last several years. I’ve learned a lot and laughed a lot, and you are just a joy to watch. Truly makes my day when I see your videos pop up! ❤

Tirtir does have other cushion options with less coverage and more natural finish.
The red one was the one that got viral but sincerely it´s not for every skin type, and most people trying them are way younger.
Usually we have to press gently the puff into the cushion, but after we press in the inside plastic part to take the excess. But the red one is a high coverage and thats not for everyone.
They also have new shades that are way less yellow then 21N... with Tirtir they tend to oxidise, but they have a sample option with 9 shades, and a smaller cushion that it´s cheaper and allow to test without spending too much.

Oh, how I wished you were wrong about the TirTir cushion foundation!! 😩 Halas, you were right!!! It's very very drying and highlights every dry spot on my face. To top it off, after trying it for 3 days with lots of different hydrating skincare, my face couldn't take it anymore! It was so dry, the skin was peeling off like it would with a sunburn and it looked both horrible and concerning 😟. Sadly, I had to return it. To those of you with dry, sensitive skin, this one may not be for you at all! Thanks for your honesty Jen!❤
I love the tirtir 67 with xdry skin, love it, i use a minimal amount with a damp beauty blender, OMG gorgeous.

I have oily skin and hyperpigmentation just tried the tirtir cushion. I was blown away. Based on the finish I can see how dry skin types will not enjoy it but on my skin I'm ready to buy a back up!!

I love your content! I was so happy when I saw this! I have the same skin struggles you mentioned ; dry, textured cheeks, pores and mature skin. I found with this cushion, definitely less is more. Korean ladies like to pat off on the back of our hands or the back of the lid first. What ever you think is a light dip, go lighter! Don’t saturate the puff. Trust! it will get your whole face. Layer/build in light layers. Skin prep is everything! works beautifully! Beauty of Joseon sun serum is beautiful 🤩 paired with this : chefs kiss!
Hi Jen. I'm 70, and I just wanted to say that back in the late 1960s early 70s, mascara with a metal wand and no bristles was quite common. If my memory serves me correctly, I belive that Max Factor had one and perhaps Estee Lauder and I think there were a few others. Everything old is new again.

I used to use a mascara by Helena Rubinstein (first makeup product in my teens!) in the late ‘70’s and it had a metal wand. The only other mascara I’ve seen these days that has a metal wand is by Surratt.
Products are so different for everyone. I’m 43 and have normal skin, maybe a little dry in the winter and I’m loving the Tir Tir foundation!! I don’t cake it on and use a pore filling primer and it lasts all day on me…I apply a light layer of powder on top and I’m set for the whole day😊 I actually purchased it before it even went viral😂I loved the eyeshadow palette, blushes and lip products, definitely trying those out!! You’re look turned out so pretty❤

I’m 70 and wear a full face of makeup, I feel weird without it unless I’m sick I then I won’t. Guess I got it from my mom who’s I heaven, I don’t remember any day where she wasn’t wearing her makeup and her hair was always done, boy she loved her red lipstick, I don’t look good in red lipstick but my sister does.❤❤

I just got the Tir Tir cushion foundation and I love it. I heard it’s not dry skin friendly though. I have normal skin but were the same age. I had to set mine with a powder and then I used a setting spray and it looked better the longer I wore it❤

I bought the Judy Doll lip jelly from a recommendation from Amanda Z. I just got it Wednesday. I absolutely love it. I purchased 2 shades and want them all now. Such a lovely product. The tint is just enough to notice but not so ridiculous like it walks in a room first. It quickly overtook all my lip products for what I want to wear.

Missha BB real signature complete is my overall favorite. I don’t see it in stock anymore. I wear 21 too. Agree that’s it’s less gray than the regular BB line. Beats high end and drugstore. Make my skin look natural and flawless all at the same time. Thank you for your awesome reviews!
Hi Jenn - love your shirt. I love the Tir Tir cushion foundation. I’m 59 and every foundation I use settles into my lines. Tir Tir did not. At all! I barely put it on the sponge, used a minimal amount.

It's a solid medium coverage (kind of similar to the IT CC Cream but I like it better!)
I have that foundation and I apply it with my sponge and I tap the sponge in very lightly. I absolutely love it!!!! Plz try it that way to see if it’s better.

I like the red TirTir cushion foundation so I ordered the silver and pink and the new blue one earlier this week. I’m curious about the difference in them all.
My first cushion foundation was Missha, and I loved it! There's definitely a learning curve with how much to apply and how to hold the actual cushion.
Robert Welsh has talked about these a few times and will have a video coming soon that will explain in more detail. I would encourage anyone that's interested in cushion foundations to check it out!

I had my eye on that TirTir cushion after seeing Tati's video but I have very dry skin like you and now I'm worried that it won't work for me. I'll wait for your update before I purchase it.
I have super dry skin and the TirTir foundation settled into all my fine lines and aged me terribly, no matter how thinly I applied it. Too bad though, the finish is so beautiful (IF you can get a good color match.)
With drier skin it is better to use the glowy-moisturizing ones, like Clio Mesh Glow Cushion or Laneige Glow Cushion. This one is matte/semi-matte, so you would have to prep your skin very well, moisturizing it beforehand.
Another thing, and very important, is to avoid dragging the product with the cushion while you apply it to your face. It is advisable to tap, removing the excess product beforehand by using the plastic cover that avoids the product from drying. (Just a few taps over the plastic cover, and its ready).

I bought the foundation and have been using it about 3 weeks now. I have normal to dry skin. It isn’t sweat proof but it looks so nice on my skin. I even received a couple compliments when i went out. I make sure not to use too much and i don’t have anything bad to say about it. I bought mine through Amazon.
I love the more greyish browns but seems like you dont see them as much as the warmer end of the browns .. loved the ampule blush so much!!! I think the same about how easy it is to go overboard with blush lol truly!!
For the cushion, I'd be interested to see if it makes a difference to try blotting off the cushion on the inside of the little flap and applying a lighter layer - a lot of the korean makeup artists and yotube girlies recommend that method for a smoother application
I have the Tirtir one, it is wonderful! I think using too much of the product definitely cause problem. Also try patting the cushion full face, “pat, pat, pat…” multiple times. It really helped cushion foundation to settle better on the face and it gives a nice blur finish. I used to not like cushion foundation, but once I started doing the patting motion full face couple times around, it changes the results a lot. I’m not sure the theory behind but it works. I wouldn’t use a brush for those cushion foundation. Give it a chance!
I love the TirTir foundation. I am 66 and love full coverage foundations. This one works well for me.

I received the Tirtir cushion foundation. I used the Dior primer and the foundation pilled all over. I'll try it again with a different primer and see how it does. I never have pilling! You look beautiful today especially your eyes.

I really had problems to remive the judydoll mascara even using oil cleanser. I now ordered a mascara remover from japan too, as they seem to be nessessary for these kinds of mascara.

Ahh I see you did get the tirtir foundation. Try it with your fingers, apply with a tap-tap and go thinner. If you use a brush, buff it in. The judydoll products look like my cup of tea!! Great video and please do more of these K-beauty hauls!!
Very intrigued by that super skinny eyeliner and that metal gloss applicator! I will be putting these items on my wish list for future consideration. I've never tried a cushion foundation before, but it does seem like there is a learning curve to the application process. And again, "viral" doesn't mean it will work for everyone! I think we seem to forget how personal makeup selection can be, especially with "viral" products!
What a fun haul. I hope that the foundation wears better w/ a primer. Have you ever used the stansout sponge? It's great for really pressing in foundation & picking up excess.
