Fr George Bowen on Newman and the Oratory

'I think the thing that I find most attractive and appealing about Newman is the fact that as a genius - which he was - he is the person that says, really, faith comes from the heart. That's to say, it's until our hearts are engaged in this relationship, no amount of thinking is going to bring us anywhere near to the kind of relationship with God that we need.'
It was a joy for us to talk to Fr George Bowen of The Oratory of S Philip Neri in London (Brompton Oratory) about Newman's life as an Oratorian, what attracted him to that community, it's founder St. Philip Neri and how this impacted his life as a Catholic after his conversion. #IntoTheTruth
