I think the articulation is more loose with the blindfold, when you make big leaps, change positions, or anticipate a hard passage, there's a moment of doubt and that affects the execution. It certainly sounds tighter with the eyes open, but I wanted to try this as a fun challenge. It did change the way I played the piece though, I started to think about how each part felt, instead of how it looked on the fingerboard.
