back then people in awe when someone cover this piece perfectly, now you cover entire instruments, wow ! back then was so easy to pick up a name for a technique such as yngwie for sweeppicking, van hallen for tapping, joe satriani and steve vai as legato and whammy explorer, nowadays, I admit it, there's so many young talented virtuosso in your era, almost have all technique above.

The woods are now full of TH-cam prodigies covering really challenging music. The difference among them is in the minute tonal and performance subtleties (vibrato, phrasing, timing, the mechanics of getting from one note to the next) and this performance nails all of that to an almost absurd degree. Jaw dropping.

Good lord, son, that tone. Just perfect. This took me back to when a friend of mine called me up and said to come over because he'd just taped this guitar player on Austin City Limits that I had to hear (you weren't even born yet, which makes me feel even older, lol) So there we were watching this crappy VHS tape of Eric Johnson playing out of a three inch TV speaker. Such a gift to watch up-and-coming talent today in HD and full stereo at the click of a mouse.
