Wiz: Water. It is a key source of all life and what we all need to survive. Boomstick: But too much of that H20 can become pretty powerful, and these guys can use it to drown basically everything. Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!
Lemme guess, kyogre would somehow take all emeralds, or steal them from chaos, and just kill him, becouse for some reason death battle will ALLWAYS make sonic characters loose most of the time
2:18 There's really something majestic about this part, as if it showed the titanic clash from an outsider's perspective and how unbelievably powerful Chaos and Kyogre are.
CHAOS WINS THIS Have you seen the stuff he's done in sonic adventure? He took out the entire knuckles clan brcause they harmed the chao he was protecting resulting in world destruction He flooded and destroyed the entirey of station square And the things that stopped hom were tikal "in the past when the knuckles clan got pummeled/destroyed" And super sonic "in the present" reverting chaos to a neutral nice state Considering not a whole lot of people know he is more of a netural character than a villain
Yeah, but can't Kyogre flood the world? Unless I'm mistaken, he's where the oceans came from. Besides, his Alpha form doesn't have a time limit like I assume Perfect Chaos does.
The best part is that Kyogre is shown to be able to primal revert in the games without outside assistance, so there's nothing stopping a full powered battle between the god of creation and god of destruction.
Maybe Igno, from Fossil Fighters Both are technically similar, they control the land and their greatest rival is another creature capable of controlling the water.
@@BananaTrooper3650 I'm not very well versed with Sonic lore but I do know a lot about Pokemon. The cover art on these contain references to both characters. The tentacles seem to be connected with chaos as they are present in his perfect form. The blue symbol is a version of the Greek letter Alpha, which is linked to kyogre as Omega is linked to Groudon. The white/blue beams on the top and sides are a reference to Kyogre's signature move Origin pulse.
I'd imagine the battle going like: Groudon and kyogre are fighting once again, but this time, kyogre realizes that the water has started to rebel against his command, eventually hitting him with a strong sort of water punch. Out comes form 1 chaos, and with kyogre enraged and groudon just walking backwards, they have a stare down and chaos starts the battle.
I've seen some people say Kyogre takes this hands down, but I think people are massively underestimating Chaos. Kyogre spreds a storm across the world while Chaos only flooded a city, right? Except Chaos was just getting started. He flooded and demolished that entire city within SECONDS, with water reaching halfway up skyscrapers. A quote from Tikal reads "He'll eventually destroy the world, as he did before!". Don't forget that he has the power of the Chaos Emeralds, which were capable of powering a weapon that can destroy the planet. I've also seen people state that Primal Kyogre is star because Primal Groudon can make the sun burn brighter, but that doesn't make sense to me because 1) they aren't destroying a star, they're enhancing it and 2) they're likely just decreasing precipitation or something to increase the heats intensity, basically the opposite of what Kyogre does. No, if Kyogre wins It's gonna be because of his Ice Attacks like Ice Beam or Sheer Cold. Ice is a big weakness for Chaos and would definitely give Kyogre time to destroy Chaos's brain.
@@mechasaurus yet Chaos is permanently connected with the Master Emerald, and pretty much any other type of Chaos Emerald is connected to the Master Emerald. It’s also a key part of his arsenal to have them
@@cnk9822 ...what? Are you legit saying Ice Beam can fully Freeze Chaos? First of all Chaos has a better mobility and has a speed edge going with his fight with Super Sonic. He gets to FTL to maybe higher depending if you believe MFTL Sonic Adventure Sonic. Second of all Chaos being hit by it will only be around lets say a small portion of him being frozen as he’d just break that shit with ease
@@Yuix6272 Has he ever transformed without them being absorbed? Eggman had to toss most of them for his artificial skeleton to form around them and his power (and body) to grow. What's more, only Sonic and Scourge have been seen tapping the Master Emerald for a power boost.
How to make this fight start, though? I feel that Chaos should start on land, flowing out of some kind of sewer or pipe, near a beach, where the Chaos Emeralds and Blue Orb (that turns Kyogre into Alpha Kyogre) are on display in a museum. As Chaos approaches the exhibit, the weather turns to rain, and Kyogre, eager of its return to its true power, floods the city with a massive rainstorm. It spots Chaos, and assumes Chaos to be also after the Blue Orb, and attacks (while Chaos presumes likewise for the Emeralds). ...It was either that, or a bunch of Chao would be caught in one of Kyogre's rampage, and who wants to see those poor little creatures hurt, you monsters?
The name, the track art and the track itself... man, suddenly I lost my apetite for seafood... cuz I’m freakin’ terrified about the implications of these two leviathans fighting! Oh well, at least we get to hear this headbanger before humanity becomes extinct.
I really really like this MU a lot, and I'd hope this fight could gradually escalate as Chaos goes through all his different forms until eventually reaching Perfect, with Kyogre going Primal to match him Fantastic track as always
FUCK YEEEEEES i've waited for this. The track is incredible and I LOVE the Open Your Heart influence in the track, basically just like Way Past Flash. The MU makes a bunch of sense and it's actually original in its own way. Kyogre wins, but the MU is close, don't get me wrong.
Never seen anyone say it's a stomp for either, so this is interesting. Considering how close their AP is, Kyogre's stat-boosting, versatility, and arguably higher intelligence would be my bet. They should at bare minimum be comparable in speed, but I would expect Kyogre to be faster. I'm just not sure to what degree.
Well, going by only games, when I played Adventure, I don't really remember Chaos moving around very quickly most the time. Especially in the Perfect Chaos fight where he just sits there (I think)
The issue is that chaos may be immortal. Even after all the damage he took he never died and just reverted to his base form. He even took attack from Super Sonic to the brain and he still survived. Heck that’s probably why Tikal thought sealing him a way was the only way to deal with him.
@@shard7549 That's what you call a "no-limits fallacy" in this context. We've never seen Chaos die, but that doesn't mean he can't be killed (the same logic would apply to Kyogre if it did). Even if sealing Chaos was the only way Tikal knew to stop him, that doesn't mean much in this case because she didn't have Kyogre as an option. I'm not saying for certain that Kyogre would win, just that you need more than that to make a sound argument for Chaos.
@@shard7549 I think the only reason chaos was losing is because while he did absorb the negative power of the emeralds, sonic absorbed the positive and still had them in his body. So when he was hitting chaos, I believe he was filling him with positive energy to nullify the negative energy of the chaos emeralds, I think that was what turned chaos back. Some can say generations contradicts this as "how did base sonic manage to beat him? He had no chaos emeralds on him so ur theory loses ground." But consider this, maybe sonic at this point has absorbed so much chaos emerald energy to the point where it's become a natural part of him? Not so much to where he can go super but enough to where it's part of him like God ki is part of gokus base in dragonball? Sonics body on its own is an enigma, as he gets stronger very quickly, and has been shown resisting some CRAZY stuff, plus it seems like he has a good connection to the chaos emeralds, as he can track them and even used a fake 1 to do chaos control. Some characters are very specific in what u need to beat them. I'm thinking chaos Is 1 of those. Like how in Zelda, Gannon is immortal, so u can punch him, stab him, and shoot him, maybe even give him a wedgie, but he won't die unless u use the master sword on his ass.
Wow. Lots of debates about who would win! Since I commissioned this I suppose I'll toss in my two cents... Kyogre wins, and here's likely why. To make a very long story short, there are multiple factors going into Kyogre's victory. For one, there are a lot of misconceptions regarding who and what Chaos scales to, so people decide to make random number and attempt to high-ball Chaos to stuff he's not supposed to. But to give you all a good summary, Chaos does not scale to Super Sonic or any other Super forms, Star Level Feats, nor does he scale to pissing on the moon. You see, Perfect Chaos uses "negative energy", which is a energy used by the likes of Perfect Chaos for transformations and via Eggman in Unleashed that awakens Dark Gaia who is the one to break up the world, not the blast using negative energy itself. In Sonic Adventure, it's even stated that the negative energy is not the true power of the Chaos Emeralds and since this holds weight; it cannot be factored into Chaos' feats and accomplishments. So while he IS able to use Chaos Energy, it is not the same as the energy used for the examples listed above. Another factor that plays a part in this is that Chaos has weaknesses to Ice and a brain that is vulnerable in which Kyogre has several tools which allow him to take advantage of both core weaknesses, so Pokemon weaknesses and resistances are not counted out in this scenario since attacks such as Ice Beam, Sheer Cold, and even the likes of Thunder can factor greatly to Kyogre's victory. While Chaos in his Perfect form has stated to be powerful enough to destroy the world, it's hard to find any supporting evidence of his world-ending feats compared to the likes of Kyogre who has shown multiple times and then some to be not only powerful enough to do so but also possibly higher, if we're taking Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon into account, where Rayquaza at his base destroys a world ending meteor and that Kyogre in general has been fighting equal and ever greater and more powerful legendaries such as Groudon and Rayquaza longer than Chaos has been alive. Even if somehow Perfect Chaos was physically stronger, Kyogre has hax to rip Chaos to shreds thanks to it's millions of years of experience, surprisingly greater speed, high intelligence, and overall great movepool to cripple Perfect Chaos, and would benefit even greater from thunderstorms by boosting it's water attacks to a heightened level via Primordial Seas in Primal Kyogre form, which boosts it's already incredible power. even beyond. With that said and done, looks like Chaos is all washed up.
For future reference maybe use paragraphs, it'll make it easier to read because you presented a great argument and it'd suck if people didn't read it after all that time.
After listening a few times I managed to put together a fight with these two. So, here it is. Beginning: Kyogre is flying above the water near a city (probably Westoples) and soon noticed a disturbance in the water. He heads to the source of the disturbance and sees two green eyes looking at him. "Primal Chaos" then qeus 0:00 : Kyogre is launched back as Chaos bursts out of the water in a water tornado and eyes Kyogre. Kyogre dose the same. After their stare off, they charge at each other. 0:17 : the two begin there brawl, each seeming evenly matched in amount of abilities they have (I think you know the drill. Picture how it goes in your head because I'm not going to say ever single detail) 0:42: at this point, Chaos unleashes a massive amount of water in an attempt to drown Kyogre. To counter this, Kyogre unleashes a massive storm to split the flow of water and keep him dry, but now, the city is completely flooded by both of them as they continue to fight. 1:14: Kyogre is amazed at Chaos's power, and wants to test something. He attacks with water pulse and follows that up with hydro pump, and Chaos redirects the attacks back at Kyogre who blocks them with aqua ring, 1:28: and has the move hit him due to Chaos forcing it on him, causing a big splash (no pun intended). When Kyogre looks at Chaos, he sees water splash on him and is quickly absorbed. 1:35: Kyogre now realizes two things. 1: water attacks won't work on Chaos since he can control large amounts of it, and 2: Chaos himself is made of water. So he attempts to freeze him with Ice beam, but Chaos jumps out of the way, only to get hit with body slam. To counter, Chaos absorbs 2 chaos emeralds and turns into Chaos 2 and bounces back at Kyogre .Kyogre tries ice beam again. This time, it hits, freezing his lower body. But then... 1:53: Kyogre gets hit with a spiked water ball that Chaos made from the water on the ground. He then breaks the ice with ease and absorbs 2 more chaos emeralds, turning into Chaos 4. He then submerges into the water, forcing Kyogre to take a defensive approach. 2:18 : Chaos sneak attacks Kygore by making water tentacles and pulls him under water. Kyogre is running out of time as he is being drowned but in that dire moment something happens... 2:45 : Chaos 4 is forced back by a huge burst of energy. Kyogre resurfaces, only now, he is Primal Kyogre. 2:55 : As he lookes around for Chaos, the water god absorbs the three remaining Chaos emeralds. Chaos bursts out of the water and has now turned into Perfect Chaos. This was it, the final showdown. Both have now entered their strongest forms. Perfect Chaos unleashes a barrage energy pellets and water beams at Primal Kyogre, who is able to doge and take it and dish out his own number of attacks. 3:27: Perfect Chaos attempts to ensnare and kill Primal Kyogre, while Primal Kyogre tries using Sheer cold as one last attempt at freezing him. Both have let themselves open, the camera goes dark to make this scene a cliffhanger. And when it opens up again... Well, I'll leave that up to you because I don't want to enrage fans with different opinions. What did you think? I'll be doing one for "Fire and fury" Liu Kang (mortal kombat) vs Jago (Killer instinct) so stay tuned.

Also, even though I don't play or watch Pokémon, can we both agree that there is currently a shockingly low number of Pokémon matchups in Death Battle? Cause there is like, probably a thousand or two characters in Pokémon and yet how many have Death Battle matchups?
Oh and I think I might also make a script chain for "Lightning Kicks, Thunder Thighs" (Juri Han VS Mercury Black) soon too, looking forward to what you have in mind for "Fire And Fury", I was originally going to do one for that one myself, but nothing was coming to mind cause I kept getting caught up by the Mortal Kombat Techno Theme and humming it out loud 😅😂🤣

It's got those heavy drums, the orchestral mix, the brass in the background, & kick ass guitar shredding! It's got everything I love in it. Plus the matchup would be awesome.
I honestly like how people are giving out evidence and opinions on who would win and not being salty; unlike Goku and Superman fans who straight up go to a conclusion and become salty when a person gives out a evidence or an opinion.
Oh heck yes. I knew Kyogre and Chaos's themes/motifs would go great together, and this is even the title I was hoping the song would have! This is absolutely on my list of battles I want to see happen. But since "Primal Chaos" is taken now... I suppose the official track could be called "Too Much Water" instead, heh.
Chaos ftw, mostly via better attack and reaction speed. He can overwhelm Kyogre from multiple angles at once with attacks that should be at least FTL. Before anyone says that Kyogre resists water attacks, I'd like to point out that Chaos isn't made of water. He's made of pure energy. He still has water properties so it might be possible for Kyogre to cut his damage output in half, but even then, Perfect Chaos' planetary feats are far more powerful than Kyogre's multi-continental feats and far ore consistant than anything that may scale Kyogre higher than that. If you wanna scale Kyogre to other legendaries with feats beyond the continental and planetary scope, then you can scale Perfect Chaos to the Final Egg Blaster, in which case Chaos is far more powerful than Kyogre even if you buy his star level argument, which I don't
Facts. People out here lowballing and not giving Chaos enough credit. Chaos destroyed the world nearly twice while Kyogre was only able to flood it, and Kyogre at his best is only Star Level and that isn't even a feat he ended up doing himself, it was Groudon. Even so, Chaos scales to Dreamcast era Sonic who in Sonic Shuffle, scales to Void who destroyed a bunch of different worlds
@@DreamcastGenesai Sonic beating Void is an outlier. He usually needs his Super form to defeat 4D beings and reach MFTL+/immeasurable speed feats. Other than that, I agree
@@alexbaribeault It's not an outlier. Sonic achieves Infinite and Immeasurable Speed In Generations, Mania and CD he also beats Ifrit, Erazor and Iblis in Base.
This is a great one. I immediately noticed the Open Your Heart vibes in it. I may be down for Chaos being in an actual DB at some point, but I guess he gets stomped by Kyogre.
Wiz: Kyogre is the best lengendary Pokémon of all time but he did not have the chance for chaos moves, Strength and his destruction form. Broomstick: looks like the legendary Pokémon sink into chaos. Wiz: the winner is chaos.

@@alexsonicelcaballeromegave4524 will have to wait and see. I mean Kyogre should beat base Chaos, but if Perfect Chaos vs Primal Kyogre is used then it might be the opposite.
I think Kyorge could actually beat Chaos In the Chaos 6 fight, Sonic has to use ice bombs in order to damage Chaos 6, & Kyorge has Ice Beam in its natural moveset

I do wonder who would make an appropriate opponent for them. A battle starring either a God of the lands of a being that moves continents with its bare hands would be intense as frick. Imagine mid-way through, Regigigas' "Slow Start" wears off and it becomes serious.
@@aidanbarry8233 Well, he can access it on his own can't he? Although with how crazy Pokémon can get, I'm not even sure if Wyzen's planetary form would necessarily assure victory

I’d have to give this to Chaos because of durability, attack potency and speed. Chaos took BLOWS from Super Sonic and was still hanging on, and considering he was able to react and keep up with him gives him MFTL+ reaction time and speed. Not to mention, Tikal stated if Chaos continued his wrath of destruction the entire WORLD would be destroyed. Even if he only covered a city, it was but in mere SECONDS. I will admit Sheer Cold COULD take Chaos down but I’m pretty sure Chaos would have time to react easily.
Late Ik, but Kyogre in his Primal Form could do the same thing. Heck his roar alone, covered the whole planet with a massive storm. Let me repeat that, his ROAR alone covered the entire planet in a massive storm.
@@denistyrant Haha it’s fine, if we go by that then we can assume their sea-expanding effects after transforming into their Primal / Perfect forms are essentially a NON-FACTOR in this fight, as both of them could flood the entire Earth fairly easily and quickly.
I think Kyogre would win this fight because Kyogre actually has more destructive capability than chaos Yeah chaos defeated the knuckles Clan and flooded a entire city but Kyogre created the entire ocean of the Pokemon world And can Flood it
Yes, but Chaos had already destroyed the world once as said by Tikal. He was going to do it again, so you figure, destroying the world as oppose to only flooding it, I don't know about you, but Chaos' feat seems more impressive
This is such a good track that I come back just to listen to it. Also to who ever between these two wins there be a Storm that Approaches and no it isn’t Vergil this time
Games only: it would be a tough one Inclusion of anime and manga: kyogre, as the blue orb can let kyogre actually possess people, befitting of a legendary based on the leviathan DEMON
i think biolante would be a better matchup but she isnt really related to water but besides that sega took inspiration from biolante and thats why they appear to be so similar. but this was a great song and it slaps.
Kinda depends which kyogre we are using. If we are using the anime version, then kyogre stomps no questions asked. But if we are using the game kyogre, then it becomes a close match, but Chaos takes the win
Death Battle has always used the Anime and Manga when analysing Pokémon, so there's no reason they would not do it for Kyogre. Even so, Kyogre's multitude of stat-boosting attacks and ice-based offense like Ice Beam and Sheer Cold should be more than enough to keep up with the stats it would miss without the Anime.
@@jakeduhsn8k868 Nah, the Archie Sonic and Game Sonic continuities are explicitely distinct. The Pokémon Manga, games and anime don't usually stray apart too far in matters of what the world even is. And as I said, even if we just restrict Kyogre to its game self, it would still likely win.
I'm no Pokemon expert, but I am a huge Sonic fan. So the biggest question I have for this matchup is what can Chaos scale to? Because Perfect Chaos has the negative energy of all 7 Chaos Emeralds, and now we all know how ridiculously powerful those things are thanks to Shadow vs Ryuko, but in Generations, Sonic beat him without going Super. That really makes figuring out his max power extremely tricky and raises questions no matter if you lowball or highball him. At minimum he could be comparable to 3 full-powered Emeralds, since that's how many Sonic can have at that point in the game, but Chaos should still have the negative energy of seven, so what gives? And at best he can be compared to Super Sonic and similar opponents, but then how did he lose to base Sonic? Idk, all I know is I want this fight to see how they tackle Chaos' power, and to have this awesome track in it.
I think Chaos can be scaled to Super Sonic in terms of strength and durability, but Kyogre has access to Ice type mives naturally, so he can exploit an explicit weakness of Chaos. I think Kyogre barely edges out, but it'd be an epic episode for sure
knowing death battle they might analyze on adventure super sonic's speed on the perfect chaos boss fight or generations to seeing how fast sonic was at that time. (this part is a stretch) and how many hits can chaos handle and how much force was put there. and how big were their flood and how long was the time. they might hit each other with buildings since both are well...water.
Well, a single Chaos Emerald was calculated to exert 81 Yottatons of power (Large Planet level) by moving an entire planetary fragment and shifting a continent, Perfect Chaos would logically scale above this
@@leirbag1595 Chaos has already regenerated twice from shattering after being turned into ice as Chaos 6, as Perfect Chaos this weakness is toned down even further

I have a question to people for the mu of Chaos and Kyogre. How would they be effective on each other if they are both water even with or without Pokemon logic. Water wouldn't do a thing. unless buildings count? (,and yes i know that Kyogre might do ice but some people say that chaos is immune to it or not dead from it) , and even if Kyogre hit the brain wouldn't chaos just reform back? also is Kyogre massively big? or just enlarge.
Chaos would win. There are many Legendary Pokémon who scale from Solar System level to Multiverse level, but Kyogre isn't one of them, Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon were both defeated by Base Rayquaza as stated in the Hoenn Legends, they would cap at Planet level at best Meanwhile, a single Chaos Emerald was calculated to exert 81 Yottatons of power (Large Planet level) by moving an entire planetary fragment and shifting a continent, Perfect Chaos would logically scale above this, its more than what Primal Kyogre is capable of

Groundon is now taking a nap
Chaos needed the Emeralds for that. Kyogre called a storm without his Orb.
@@mechasaurus yet Chaos is permanently connected with the Master Emerald, and pretty much any other type of Chaos Emerald is connected to the Master Emerald. It’s also a key part of his arsenal to have them
And? Kyogre still wins ice beam and Chaos is dead.
Perfect Chaos vs Primal Kyogre
Or a run in with Eggman and Team Aqua could definitely kickstart the match!
You can simply have Perfect Chaos liberate Kyogre in its rampage.
Would it be evil chaos or pure chaos ?

Oh well, at least we get to hear this headbanger before humanity becomes extinct.
I really really like this MU a lot, and I'd hope this fight could gradually escalate as Chaos goes through all his different forms until eventually reaching Perfect, with Kyogre going Primal to match him
Fantastic track as always
FUCK YEEEEEES i've waited for this. The track is incredible and I LOVE the Open Your Heart influence in the track, basically just like Way Past Flash. The MU makes a bunch of sense and it's actually original in its own way. Kyogre wins, but the MU is close, don't get me wrong.
This actually sounds like it’s from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon!
@@shard7549
I think the only reason chaos was losing is because while he did absorb the negative power of the emeralds, sonic absorbed the positive and still had them in his body.

@@vergilsonofsparda2350 You’re right, there’s a track for it soon

This is like Way Past Flash Where you used Live and Learn but this time it’s Open your Heart

This is another top tier cover art. Love the track Brandon
After listening to this soundtrack
I want this to happen on death battle now
Absolutely amazing as always. Could legit see this playing in the background as these two fight it out.
After listening a few times I managed to put together a fight with these two. So, here it is.
Beginning: Kyogre is flying above the water near a city (probably Westoples) and soon noticed a disturbance in the water. He heads to the source of the disturbance and sees two green eyes looking at him. "Primal Chaos" then qeus
0:00 : Kyogre is launched back as Chaos bursts out of the water in a water tornado and eyes Kyogre. Kyogre dose the same. After their stare off, they charge at each other.
0:17 : the two begin there brawl, each seeming evenly matched in amount of abilities they have (I think you know the drill. Picture how it goes in your head because I'm not going to say ever single detail)
0:42: at this point, Chaos unleashes a massive amount of water in an attempt to drown Kyogre. To counter this, Kyogre unleashes a massive storm to split the flow of water and keep him dry, but now, the city is completely flooded by both of them as they continue to fight.
1:14: Kyogre is amazed at Chaos's power, and wants to test something. He attacks with water pulse and follows that up with hydro pump, and Chaos redirects the attacks back at Kyogre who blocks them with aqua ring,
1:28: and has the move hit him due to Chaos forcing it on him, causing a big splash (no pun intended).

Underrated AF, especially with how many facts are being pumped out in this.
@@aidanbarry8233 Thanks m8!

Meanwhile, a single Chaos Emerald was calculated to exert 81 Yottatons of power (Large Planet level) by moving an entire planetary fragment and shifting a continent, Perfect Chaos would logically scale above this, its more than what Primal Kyogre is capable of
@@nathanielus5296 ah i see
