I have a smart TV without an ethernet port. However, there is a free HDMI port available. Six feet away is an ethernet jack in the wall connected to my network router. Is there a gizmo, that actually works, that can convert the ethernet signal (Netflix, TH-cam etc) into something a HDMI cable can then run into the TV? Currently, my TV stuff is running over wireless with all of the latency problems that come with wireless instead of ethernet. What you are showing in the video, is a two device setup for transmission and receipt. I only need one converter and don't want to pay for the other. $100 seems steep to solve my situation, but reasonable to solve your situation.
