I’ve just purchased an installed one of these. I have the tracking set to 300 secs, and park action also set to 300 secs. However while it tracks someone, if the person it is tracking stands still for a second the camera goes back to its parked position. Can I stop it from doing this in the settings somewhere, or have I missed something when setting it up? 🤷🏻👍🏻
Just like to add when I’m accessing the camera though the web browser I get no permission when trying to move the ptz or set any limits really scratching my head as works perfectly through the app and nvr any help appreciated.
How does the privacy mask work on a PTZ? Is it PTZ aware so the mask "sticks" to a window or computer monitor, or does the mask only block out a fixed set of pixels on the sensor?
I have a question about the privacy mask -> suppose I black out an area that is outside of my property, and now a person walks past exactly in this area - does the camera still follow them =? thx you very much
Does this come in a silver/black colour scheme. White is not an option. Confirming that the camera white light can be turned completely off, like the hybrid colorvue.
Can these cameras automatically zoom into an intruder? Or is the zoom only manually operated? I am trying to understand whether it makes sense to have one of these in my home or whether this would be overkill / useless (which it would be if the optical zoom is manually controlled).
Probably late but PTZ cameras can generally have a patrol mode that can scan a set area i.e left to right and can track/follow movement, i.e someone walking up a long driveway.
ptz ds-2se7c432mw-aeb(14f1)(p3) is there a chinese version of this camera ? i purchased this camera off cctv direct but strangely had your business name and address on the white part of the camera so im thinking now have i bought a recon , also audio alerts voices have a chinese twang and not a english spoken voice , is there a way of changing this ?
Curious, when you enable EIS in the image parameters, does it squeeze out a bit more zoom much like some of the other cameras? Does the menu allow digital zoom beyond the optical zoom? Thanks!
DaiTech, is there any firmware protection against criminal intrusions? Each of my cameras and recorder were hacked through lesser known criminal activities that I can not go into on this public means of communication.

Because of this I entered the P.T.Z to the camera in question and at the first position I changed the video mode and now it is no longer visible at all, I cannot enter the PTZ to change it then, how do I reset it .
