I don’t understand track fans sometimes, there’s an analyst and anti-doping guy Orion Coaching on Twitter trying to imply Adeleke is doping. She’s 49.20 sprinter, and we know from Usain Bolt, Michael Norman, and Wayde Van Niekerk 400m talent is a could precursor to success in the sprints, Adeleke was a 11.3B runner -- which is talented, and was a member of 2 collegiate record 4x100m teams. With a literal hurricane behind her, how is running 10.84 suspicious? The worst thing to happen to sports is people think doping can just give you talent, no amount of doping would make you Usain Bolt, Michael Jordan, or Novak Djokovic. What makes great athletes special can’t come from a bottle.
While nothing to get overly excited about at the stage in the season, there is a clear plan here towards greater objectives. This was a good step and an impressive win over great competitors. Good luck for the summer ahead.
I've heard some absurd things in the past, but the remarks circulating now truly take the cake. Rhasidat Adeleke won fair and square. Not because she's tall and has a big sail and the wind grabbed a hold of her or because the rest took it easy. In the lead-up to the Olympics, top athletes don't hand their rivals any advantages, especially not to the rising stars who pose serious competition. They ruthlessly crush threats and undermine them psychologically Anyone who eased off during that race knew they couldn't win, so they deliberately slowed down to save face afterward, to defend themselves in post race interview, claiming they weren't giving it their all. But that's nonsense. There are 2 outcomes from this race. 1. They now recognize Adeleke as a formidable opponent. 2. She's only going to get faster. Bring it on Adeleke!!😃😃😃😃
