8th June 2024 Steam Roller 100 years old in parade.

8-6-24--New Mills Carnival Parade with Invicta Steam Roller 100 years old and still going strong. It was in regular use with New Mills Urban District Council before retirement. Bought by Dave Lomas some time later and fully restored it is seen today in its home town in the parade. Recently fitted with rubber tyres to improve safety it is a credit to Dave and family who look after it. Built to last.
