- Pláka (Greek: Πλάκα) is the old historical neighborhood of Athens, clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis, and incorporating labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture. Plaka is built on top of the residential areas of the ancient town of Athens. It is known as the "Neighborhood of the Gods" due to its proximity to the Acropolis and its many archaeological sites.

Is that Adrianou Street at the beginning? How terribly disappointing. Tacky, loud and hyper-touristy.
I honestly don’t remember the name of the street but it’s the street very close to the main entrance of the Acropolis of Athens.
No it's certainly not Adrianou Street
All street around Plaka are there,it's a tourist path, didn't you know where did you go ?
In the 12th-19th century that place was inhabited from Albanians . And Plaka means old man
Thank you for the detailed information! :-)
Lies . always , this place , was Greek. Don't steal our history ! Don't be ridiculous !
You had a big imagination 🤣 get serious always this place was and is Greek nothing connection with Albanians!

If you hear Albanians talking about the history they learned at the kafeneio, they will tell you about how they build the pyramids and the Great Wall 😂
