I actually found this comic a great while ago, I wasn't really interested in Splatoon at that time, so I just went by. But seeing it now I just love it! Also, seeing Dedf1sh and Eight being their adorable selves together was something I didn't knew I needed today.
This sure did bring back subtle memories of watching the original crush 14, when I was getting into splatoon, almost like the memories returned cause of the one Squid Sister's hit song Calamari Inkantation. Seeing eight blush was cute like she had an original crush on her, before her and three became really close. So naturally I enjoyed it deeply in it's wholesomeness and comical tune. ♥️💚💛💙

I came here from the comments of the song #14 crush, my favorite dedf1sh track to this day. As much as I know this ask blog isn't canon, the idea of the inkantation bringing dedf1sh's emotions back sounds like it entirely fits within the story, which i like because dedf1sh is my favorite artist.

While I find it sweet that the Inkantation broke through to her, #8 Regret is cut in multiple places, where dedf1sh is implied to have used the Inkantation herself. It was censored so the subjects wouldn't get too hopeful.
