Something funny from my childhood is that I had that one orange Fallen toy, and I actually did rip off it’s face. I never even saw the movie and I still decided that the fallen needed it’s face ripped off.

@Autobots_Inferior_Editz I haven’t been into transformers for awhile and got into it months ago and HOLY CRAP I wish I came back to transformers sooner I recently bought wfc Soundwave and rid legacy scourge which is AMAZING.
If only he had the paint budget of a leader…

The prophecy foretold that he would rise again, and he has! Back from 2009, Studio Series brings us The Fallen!
-It's great to see him with his disciple, Studio Series ROTF Megatron, and the Jetfire upgrade Optimus Prime.
-Awesome poses and ROTF video footage to go with it. And cool, Makuta from Bionicles makes a cameo.
Normally, I despise clear plastic figures. But the low translucency gives him a sort of ethereal and otherworldly feel which works perfectly
Plus, it's not that noticeable

I think lore-wise the original Primes never had alt modes, so making the robot mode the highlight of the toy was the right choice.

I wasn’t in the theatres for the second TF movie, but if it were to be in the theatres again, I bet everyone (including the youngest and oldest) would unanimously say “Give me your face” during that scene… at least I do at home when I rewatch these movies.
Mine just arrived today, and I’m super pumped to have this guy in my collection! I missed out on the original Fallen figure when I was a kid and I’ve been wanting it for a while. I was super pumped when this was announced. AHHH IM SO EXCITED!!!!
I fucking love this figure too. He's so weird and interesting and fun! I love the design of the early cybertronian primes. Only thing I'd change is I'd give the hands another hinge so they can close, and I'd change the way the shoulder flaps attach to the legs in alt mode.
I love weird transformer designs. This guy is top of that list because of the weird extra joints and practically zero chest
@@TyphonMar Absolutely! Bayverse gave us unbridled creativity and I'll always be thankful for that, even if the movies themselves weren't always good. RotF in particular had some of the most wacky and memorable designs.
Fun fact if you shine a flashlight into the fallen, you can actually see that he’s partially translucent and you can see the joints inside of him which is even more cool!

Just got one for my birthday and I love it. I feel like one thing you forgot to mention is how good the light piping is on him and how much of it lights up. Under a direct light source, his face lights up the fiery orange you could see in the movie and it's badass!
I love the Fallen's design, when they revealed this figure I was over the moon

My only problem with this figure is how blue his face is cause it was never that bright of a blue in the movie, it was more of a dark rusted? Blue rather than a bright cyan esc color
He always reminded me if Makuta lol, glad someone else sees it
wouldnt those arm thingies be pretty good if they were a ton of segments that extend like pistons and are connected to each other by ball joints? it'd be big but not fake

I picked one up today and man, i didnt expect to love it this much. His pose-ability is amazing and ive found ways to fan mode the jet to look way better. Very much worth getting

got mine yesterday, they gave me two of the spear halves that have holes so I can't connect them
The loose clear tab hole is because it's made of 2 separate pieces: to tighten it, tighten the 2 screws of the shoulder piece.
Also, are your copy's upper arm swivels super tight to rotate?

Already got my Optimus and jetfire together + the upgrades. Now I gotta wait until January for my pre-order of this guy to come. Why didn't I just wait for Amazon.
I haven't watched ANY reviews or seen pictures from this guy so I was going into this blind, and man im happy I did there was so much packed into this figure that made it so good and compete with older Leader Class toys. Im very VERY happy I finally have one in my collection
I just got mine a couple days ago and I gotta say I love mine! But I do just leave the appendages off for a cleaner profile 🙂 keep it up you're honestly one of my top favorite transformers reviewers 🤙🤙
was able to get one from Target for 89AUD which is epic so i'm excited for it to get here
it's so sad that the standard leader price here is like 95 - 100
especially when most current leaders don't actually feel like leaders

I go to a Walmart a couple times a moth for cat litter near Montreal and they've had this guy sitting there since it released.
The box just gets more and more fucked up every time I go, and now I'm worried it's gonna be missing parts.
But getting him out of packaging was funny to me. When I opened mine, his face was behind the cardboard in paper. So you open him up and he has his defeated face which I found hilarious.
Can't wait to get him next week just ordered him from ebay
My first Fallen figure was the Target exclusive orange Fallen figure, then I got the Original Fallen figure from the ROTF three pack with Megatron and Soundwave, and lastly I own the Studio Series Fallen figure. I never owned the Hunt For The Decepticons blue Fallen figure but the Studio Series for me makes it up for me.

I feel like it would've worked a lot better if the tendrils connected just above the elbow instead. Sure it would have been a little less accurate, but this way, the tendrils just have to match the range of the upper arms while the lower arms can move freely.
Also in jet mode, this would've made the "arches" a lot flatter and more believable as extra wing surfaces, for like a "space biplane" sort of look

I found it slightly weird that Megatron had superior, even if the Fallen literally has a Decepticon logo for a face.
It makes more sense when you realize that The Fallen is the founder of the Decepticons

I've had to buy 3 copies of this figure, and all 3 had either a snapped or unglued leg joint where it attaches to the crotch (the black bit)
The lack of a waist joint doesn’t bother me at all. Waist joints on SS decepticons are pretty rare.
This guy definitely looks masterpiece quality and I really want to hunt one down now after this and Balt’s video

my copy also has your problems. very tight bicep swivel, and those back things, mine also like to pop off easily from the body, so its not just you/your copy.

I dont really like the thing about his mask-face. the fact that you can detach his face bothers me a lot. does it come off much too easily, or does it fit properly on the head?
