Jetfire was my first ever SS figure, and the first transformer I bought with my own money. I now have 110 figures from multiple lines.
Congratulations! Studio Series got me back into collecting, so I have almost every single one.
same here, ss jetfire was my first ss figure, it introduced me to the line because I saw it, and thought, I've never seen a jetfire this good before, so I got it and it really is an amazing figure
The first transformer that I bought with my own money was new RID drift minicon launcher. I donated it years ago.

I can never get my head around how they got Ultimate X-spanse out out this guy. Like, jet mode, obviously it's practically the same, but the robot modes are so different feeling. Especially the way the legs work. X-Spanse is a bit X-pants though.
I kinda hope we get a N.E.S.T. Ironhide repaint from the Voyager 07 mold too because that should be easy since they did it in the ROTF line and also it wouldn't alter his color palette too much.
Imagine it goes inverse and the N.E.S.T Ironhide ends up being red and colorful like his G1 design, instead of going bland.

i agree about the squint looking weird but technically hes not squinting. most of the bayverse designs had a lid that went through the center of the eye and its basically impossible to recreate that with plastic at this scale without it looking like its squinting. i feel like they should just omit that on these cheaper figures since it always ends up looking weird (mpm megatron and optimus come to mind)
I honestly think if the lid was a bit slanted, (like if he was grumpy or something) it would probably look a lot more good.
He looks like a xenomorph in robot mode
the yellow dot is actually accurate to the film, when I got the figure I rewatched to movie and the yellow dot is actually there in robot and vehicle mode
The DNA kit for jetpowered Prime is the best DNA kit. You're missing out dude. It was so good that I decided to never put my Jetfire together again.

Huge, I mean HUGE improvement they did with this leader class studio series Jetfire than the original leader in 2009
His squinty eyes honestly kinda make him look like he's constantly tired as hell. I can kinda relate tbh
I had this figure then sold him and bought the AOYI mech knockoff, both are great but the knock off is miles better because of the lights and hand articulation
I hope hasbro does a buzzworthy bumblebee jetfire reissue for fans who missed out on him.
And fix his issues too

Also the legs being finicky to get lined up and pegged in as well
I'm hoping they reissue Shockwave, because that guy is extremely hard to come across at a fair price.

I really recomand the dna kit, jetfire is much much better, and the jetpowered prime is really accurate and its not that expensive
on a side note, i would kill to have the leader class jetfire again, idk why i loved it so much when i had it

I don't recommend to transform it too much. There are many parts in this figure that are fragile

I have SS Jetfire, or well, had.. Mines waist broke at the connection piece to the chest. He can still combine and may be able to go into plane mode, but hes basically dead.
I always loved Jetfire. I want to find out where I can get him for a decent price.

The panels behind the head can’t tab into anything below it (shoulders and legs)
Love this guy but i was always annoyed they didn't add a ball joint or extra hinge in the hair on the sides of this head. If they could have folded up and forward to cover the head in jet mode it would have been a lot sleeker. Also he really needs finger articulation.

I was able to get SS Jetfire in a bundle for only £50... alongside SS Grimlock and some Prime wars figures.

I have him and he is fantastic. Transformation is tricky. The legs always confuse me.

I paid $34 au for him when our Big W had a sale on the leader class Transformers. Best deal to date!
I didn't care about studio series in the beginning. Well, it was more like I was unaware of its existence somehow, and I'm regretting not being able to pick up an Optimus and Jetfire then just for the combined mode. always wanted the original leader class figures, but i was younger and they were expensive individually at the time. plus they weren't as accurate as the figures we have now. now I'm hard pressed to find any copies left in stores from previous waves and will probably have to pay upwards of $200 just to get them off scalpers cause that's what's left.

i wish it was still available in europe. i see it going for 180-300€ and then you have to look carefully to not get a knockoff :-/ i'd get another optimus just to combine him with jetfire, i love those modes

All good! I just generally don't like modifying my figures personally. I only have 1 upgrade kit and that's for ss devastator.

I was going to buy the hasbro version but it was soo expensive so I bought the AYO mech version which is for my opinion looks a lot better and it’s big just like in the movie
For the eyes you can just push down on the eyelid and it shows the actual eyes very easy saw it on the forums years back and it takes a second and he no longer has those weird sleepy eyes
My gripe about the head is the coloring choice...it's supposed to be BLACK, not that funky silver. The Jetpower formation is FAR superior in looks to both the RotF original from 2009, as well as the half-assed SS44 DotM Jetwing formation. Yup, Studio Series Jetpower obliterates modern Jetwing & original Jetpower. (But original Jetfire was a turd anyway, the RotF Leader Optimus mold is a universe tier toy to this day!!)
Despite the complete gacha game trash RNG styled complete dice roll of QC it is or ain't, I still want a copy of SS32 just to have one for display as Jetwing (while I keep my SS44 in Jetpower)...yesss.

I actually have the Studio Series Jetfire. Too bad I never want to transform it. A thin piece of plastic broke off my copy, which is supposed to keep a metal rod attached to the back of this figure. The other ring hasn't broke... yet, but because of that one piece that broke off, I never want to transform this figure again.
The facesculpt look like its a corpse, other than that its a great looking figure
The squinting is honestly the biggest reason why I've never picked this up. Fantastic toy, but, man, that headsculpt. Ruins it for me.
I hope they do a MPM version.
you can get rid of the eyelid, it aint attached to the eye. Be careful tho, DONT REMOVE THE TOP LID, only the middle (or you can push it down)
This figure would be perfect if it weren’t for the eyes and I wish his mask/helmet could come over his eyes.

They did jetfire dirty in ROTF. Look at this decrepit figure compared to siege jetfire. Man the only reason to get this is to have the whole set, otherwise its a horrid looking figure. Hard pass personally. Ill spend my doe on siege
