    It took about 3 months for the truck to arrive in Australia and about 6 months from ordering the box. Could have been quicker but in no particular rush to have it finished. Done a little tweaking over the past year also.

      @@despideatujefe5721 Bliss Mobil in Holland. Price depends on location because of shipping and local import costs. Roughly 150,000 euros

    Extremely impressive - but one thing I noticed is it always seems to be swaying from side to side. Is that due to the terrain there, or the weight of the camper on the back?

    • @ExpeditionBliss
      @ExpeditionBliss  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      El Rey the terrain was pretty rough, the unimog is designed to flex this way also. The camper body is attached to a torsion free subframe which is only attached to the truck at three points, this gives the unimog it's awesome offroad ability.

    love the rig how do you find not having a crawl through an a awning looking for very similar set up

    • @ExpeditionBliss
      @ExpeditionBliss  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kaylene, No problem not having a crawl through. It would have been just that, crawling through a small opening, not something we thought would happen in an emergency. Trying to think of scenarios when this would happen, we only came up with armed hold up. Figuring that we could be shot whilst driving off anyway we decided against it. We also have a fridge in the Unimog where the crawl through space would be and the table in the living module side, so for us is a better use of space. Haven't done any videos yet, but we do have an awning stored in the back of the truck. Its freestanding and covers the area from the stairs to the back of the truck. Not fitted on the outside so it doesn't snag on anything, plus the box is a tight fit back into a shipping container.

    Hello, I am from Cape Town, South Africa and will be planning a Blissmobile build soon. However looking for a unimog 4023 ( what the size and type of your unit.

    • @ExpeditionBliss
      @ExpeditionBliss  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Andre. Our Bliss Mobil unit is a 13ft standard., so we have a separate bedroom area from the kitchen/living area and a larger storage area under the bed at the rear. For more of our thoughts you can check out our blog at expeditionbliss.net

      Hi Steve, Appreciate the response and the expedition.net website of yours was most informative. After reading your comments and i am confident the unimog and bliss mobil will be the ideal choice. "go have fun in your great new toy"
