As always, an amazing location superbly presented in a wholesome and genuine way by you two. I have only been down to Robe once, but I had a similar experience in that the sunset when I was down at Cape Dombey Lighthouse was one of the best of the entire year.
Another great video chief. If you head up that way again there's a little fishing village called Cape Jaffa just a bit further up the road from Robe. A top spot to throw a line in if you're that way inclined. Then a bit further up the road is the historic town of Kingston if you like exploring old towns. Millicent is also worth a visit as they have a couple of events on at certain times of the year. Then if you've got time, head on over to the Tantanoola Caves.

Seems very good, no doubt aided by your choice of scenery. Also what kind of awning is that? Im getting a troopy with the same poptop and noone seems to be able to supply a 270 awning because they won't mount into the fibreglass strongly enough to stay there. I see yours is drilled into the body.. Is that a kit or is it custom made? How much if you don't mind saying? Good luck with your future adventures..
Each winter since you started, I've hoped you would utilise your photographic talents in the high country as I'd really like to see you and The Troopy in the snow... or would it be too well camouflaged up there?
Ah Dave, we think the same thing every year! And every year there's always heaps going on around June and July... hoping to keep the calendar clear for next winter :) Might need to get ourselves a diesel heater beforehand 😂
Hi mate, I’ve got a troopy landcruiser manual 1996. When I put the 4wd mode sometime it works, and sometime it doesn’t. I have no way to be 100% sure that the h4 or L4 is on because there is not indicator on the dashboard. Do you have an idea of how to be sure that it’s on before going on the sand track?
