Love it!!!!! Thank you!!! White rice is good with dinuguan, also puto. Try dipping suman ( plain sticky rice) in dinuguan. 👍🏻Also try making fried egg with white rice & eating it with dinuguan. First mix dinuguan very well with rice, then eat with fried egg👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻YUMMMMMM! And pronounce puto as puuu- toh ( soft “O”)

Thank you, Peggie, for enjoying and showcasing, in your video, 2 known Filipino dishes. My grandmother would usually cook “dinuguan” using cow’s blood and pork meat. She claims the cow’s blood is “better” than pig’s blood but she never explained why. I guess it is more of her preference. The “puto” is good on its own as a snack but in combination with “dinuguan” it is a whole other level in your taste buds. The combination of sweet and savory totally works! “Dinuguan” on rice is also very good combination. I am happy that you enjoyed it and greatly appreciate your honesty in describing the taste. In some provinces in the philippines puto with dinuguan is a special food for them.

Try another blood dish batchoy or misua sa dugo. These are soup and very nice tasting. Our food mostly been influence by the chinese that is why you feel that your eating a chinese dish with a twist. We also cook our dish depending on our palate or availability of the ingredient so you would notice that in your first try dinuguaan there is no isaw maybe isaw is not available or cook does want to put isaw
