so the new Lock on mode is dope.. it redefines the combat. Also you can replay mission now and any duels. Those 2 features alone have made this game 10 times more fun.
I still don't know for certain but I can't find anything to suggest they're separate things. If you own the base game & upgrade to the Director's Cut then you should get the Tales Of Iki included, & if you buy the Director's Cut outright then you should also get Tales Of Iki in it.
So pumped for this director's cut. Got it at launch and it immediately jumped to one of my top PS games. I'm really looking forward to a new raid (if it happens). Either way would still recommend. 🍻
Someone bought this game as a gift for me, but when I play it it has only the online mode... Is it not complete or I must finish the online introduction? It's not the Legends, the game cover is the same and the logo says "Director's Cut". No one seems to know the answer to this.
Some of the combat animations look smoother. Is that a Directors Cut thing or a PS5 thing? Also, can this DLC be found on the standard edition, or do we have to buy the Directors Cut?

I don't mind it. We've gotten alot of free content from sucker punch. NG+, legends, various abilities, armors, etc. I don't mind paying a little more for all that plus better graphics, haptic feedback, lip syncing, even more abilities, and ~20 additional hours of content.

they added a replay mission mode so you can go back and replay any duels

If you're going from PS4 version to PS5 version along with getting the Director's Cut then it's around £25, otherwise around 16.
Lock on makes indoor combat amazing, lock on just makes the combat 10 times better
