I honestly think the grind goes to albion on this one. Yes the grind in frostborn is "easier" but it gets so braindead I'm preety sure I lost some brain function the 1000th time I did odins ._. Also in albion you can get top gear in like 5 days if you play it right. Just gotta know what to do and have a good guild to help you along.
I actually play both games , but right now I stopped playing Frostborn cause it felt boring and repetitive. Right now I play Albion with a bunch of friends and it's really fun . Albion just has a lot of fun content and the game is really diverse so you can choose what u want to do rather than just following a set path . And it's really F2P friendly , like if you grind enough you can easily reach endgame . And btw I started playing Albion only like 2 weeks ago . I am actually surprised that JCF is making Albion content. Keep it up 😉.

In Albion, they release big updates like up to 5x times a year, like they revamped the open world looks, and they added new weapon lines, it has the probability that the developers will add the flintlock weapon line or the electric staffs weapon line

I've played frostborn for a long time. And sometimes devs never listen to their players. I believe that the games that listen to their community will be the better game long term. If you add what the players want. The players will stay longer and spend more on the game. Albion was around for a long time but in that 2 years forstborn has been around they had enough time to add content that players wanted. Frostborn had a good run. But just like Ldoe and grim soul frostborn will take longer but will fall soon.
Frostborn also have many bugs and when i report to support they clearly ignore me. Since, 2 days ago after giving me some lame excuse They are not replying me
This past update. Everything takes longer to do. Weapons and gear wear down faster a lot faster ! The simple fact I can't go farm without a br of over 500 camping got old the first few times. I still play it but soon as I find a better game , I'm un installing frostborn . And the players are lazy !
Albion Online for life, I believe that Albion online has more potential than frostborn, in frostborn u have to give up stuff u grind for but in Albion u jus wear the gear u want and it automatically makes u get higher level weapons which is a big think in my opinion, also the fact that u can wear ur gear in area without losing it is also something that factors in because in frostborn u need to have repair table to pvp practice if that person doesn't end up stabbing u in the back
I have 1500h in Albion and I can tell you it's fun, I never paid a penny on the game and I can easily beat anyone who pays. In my opinion Albion is one of the most f2p friendly only because you can buy your premium with in game money and that premium helps you make more money,,, for For example I buy one month premium with 9m silver and by 10 day mark I can make another 10m easily so I have more money that I know what to do with About story Albion has a rich lore where you can read at the internet but not in game so it's more like a lore based sandbox rather than storyline progressive game Albion never gets boring if you know how to look for content, also it's open world with over hundreds of maps and dungeons The trading system in Albion is superb All and all Albion for life ❤
Funny enough whole watching frostborn i saw and ad on yt for albion so i started playing it on an apk before it came out lol. But i have played frostborn since it was first released in beta, and honestly frostborn has very much potential but for them to reach the amount of content albion has it will take a long time and more dev cooperation. Frostborn has more of a fulfillment type because you can max everything out while ablion leave many players, including myself, worried on what class to chose because we dont know what we want and just wanna rise to the top. Albion also requires much more time to grind and you need to find a clan or you will be missing out on a lot of fun. So after all that let me say this, frostborn will need to change its focus and strategy to work up to albions content level and beat them in each of the categories in this video. Right now frostborn is not very generous with how many reasources you can gain from doing several tasks like farming or odins compared to albion. They need focus on pvp and make gear abundant to people do not have to risk gear to fight and will retain players as they add more pvp. Even though that is the case, i like frostborn better due to its less time it allows me to play and its more personable feel. I love your vids jcf, ive been watching since the start and since you couldnt even enter a code in the computer of bunker alpha lol. I love both games, but Frostborn got a bit boring atm and I cant belive I m saying this but I think all old Frostborn players should take a lil break... there's nothing exciting to do and as a max player you need something to keep you going. Albion is very cool and intereasting rn and we shall see if its gonna stay that way.
Albion has been the cool game it has been for quite some time so I expect you to enjoy it but even if you don't you had an open mind so well done but yeah old frostborn players do need a break 😅

Nothing can beat albion online atm as the best f2p mmo. As a veteran who loved and hated Albion, I recommend the game. Low level crystals. The devs listen to players also, we have like the king arthur table players that devs listen to. Well that was my era in Albion 2 yrs ago. What I only know was the game caters to casual and new players well. The best in Albion are the shotcalls and comedic discord voice chats. Just find the right guild for you.
Question. In Albion you get to choose when you want to pvp based on the content you want to explore. So it is very easy to stay in a pve environment and have fun. You can even make serious $$$ selling gear to the pvp people. So easier to grow and also play solo until you find a nice guild. From what i see, in Frostborn you can, and will very frequently, get attacked and lose a lot of your gathered reserves in your town. Well it used to be like that. Has it changed or are new players still food for the veterans?
I'm searching for a MMORPG the whole time and never found one. But i always come to Albion bc it's features are what I want . The sandbox, the pvp, the classes. But i tried it and don't know what i have to do. It's rly hard to get into it

In Multiplayer, Albion clearly won that, in the open world with 3 guilds and 100 players each, so 300 players can fight in the open world, and it's so fun to join those fights

At a time on a map) -little to no economical impact on the cost of in game items due to individual game play -most importantly, a single end game (being maxed out) -intense grind for little fun Albion -most f2p (you can get premium for free) -medium graphics -humongous map -not at all repetitive. The huge map offers new possibilities every minute -good multi-player (the whole albion community on a single map!) - the whole in game economy is player depended based on supply and demand - You decide your endgame (you can either max your gear, be the best crafter for the whole albion community, best trader or specialize in a single weapon crafting). -little grind In albion, the whole community is on a single map. *albion offered me the exact thing I downloaded LDOE 5 years ago for* I downloaded frostborn just to find the dream game I was looking for after being disappointed with LDOE but again somewhat disappointed. Albion is the best mmorpg.
I respect anyone's decision about albion being better but if you are up for the challenge of frostborn that "go home with nothing or go home rich". Losing your stuff in-game is a disadvantage of the game BUT also advantage for the player itself when it kills someone he/she can get the loot. Frostborn is full of adrenaline and risks when on pvp mode but its worth it if you succeeded
I think both games have more potencial because Albion's head dev said there is more room for improvement plus they can also add more islands or sea battles and etc etc

albion has this unique pvp system like one time a whole guild with lower level gears pk'ed a 4 man team with greater gear tier,but still the 4 man team rekt the guild even you can tell that guild consist of more than 50 players. Something like that where you gonna think a fight scene in fantasy/anime can be seen in albion.
Albion has rmt, speedhackers, mega guild handholding, sensitive chat mods, silver dubing, packet sniffer third party programs so those players can find what dungeon your in and kill you when you come out, farming bots oh and players that steal the entire guild bank (videos of this on youtube players like krispy robinhood etc)
I bought a gaming tablet just to play games like frostborn and when I heard Albion online was in the works, I bought it as fast as I could. It's a huge 10 inch screen and is supposedly second best gaming tablet. Frostborn works just fine but Albion needs additional RAM in order to play. Unfortunate to say the least
But if you have 1gb of ram or less you can add more ram by using ROESOFT ram expender just search in youtube how to use that but you do need to root your device
@@Buxzy6613 if i remember right, the system requirements are 5G's of ram. My system only holds 3 i believe. I tried installing Albion multiple times. What ends up happening is i can't even log in because the system is being stretched past it's limit, just for the keyboard to pop up took solid minutes for the system to catch up. I hadn't seen lag like that since playing world of Warcraft on my Dell toaster oven in 2005.

well what i hate about frostborn that every time i do odin i fight the same bosses i got bored in the 3rd time from killing the same bosses and i have done odin like 100 time
For me the problem in albion is when you realize you are wasting time by not doing black zones dungeons, so you try to get there and get ganked 5 times in the same day by different groups of guys with claws... the option to choose to go "solo" or go "with friends" in frostborn at least makes me know that i'm the one who choose to get ganked by going with friends while being solo. Both games are good, similar and different at the same time, if frostborn keeps what it already have of incredible and add some ideas from albion, then frostborn has the potential to be the perfect mmorpg
Albion isn't for everyone, one can not decide if you like it or not just by doing the tutorial. It took me 2 days to figure out how everything works, I love both my games and I still play both. Frostborn will be my no 1 game, because I love it and my team. Albion is still new to me, but I already love it, f2p in this game is awesome. The fact that you can sell your items and get silver immediately is awesome, to buy what you need with silver is pretty cool too! Although I like to farm and do the Destiny tasks to unlock content, I must say, Albion get a big round of applause from me!
Has a Albion TH-camr well known as Best DaggerPair in the game. and now playing frostborn i can tell you frostborn has alot of potencial. the only system i miss is the 'trash' so it takes items away from players faster.
In my opinion I prefer frostborn because I find it simple and easy to get hang of while for me when I tried Albion it seemed so complicated and complex even after 2 hrs of playing I could barely understand
To be honest i feel like they shouldnt even be compared, they seem like such different games with different motives for the game, so in my opinion i think they are both respecfully great games on their own

I've played both games and I miss you since I've quit frostborn months ago and as for grinding in frostborn you do the same stuff over and over it gets boring real quick while in albion theres an insane amount of ways to get rich like I am shocked you choose how you want to grind theres pvp,pve,gathering,crafting,dungeon pvp,auction house trading each city has different prices the game has its own bloody stock market and you can even have your own island and have your own npc workers and the list goes on and that's just the grinding theres so many different types of pvp and pve content and as for players I've personally never seen so many players in any game I've ever played like it's mind blowing

Even though i am not happy Frostborn Yters are pushing potential new Frostborn players away from the game, i at least am thankful you gave Frostborn a fair review. My opinion is it is not fair to compare the two as they are not the same game at all really. Albion is a PC game.. its been out longer the platform it was built on is much bigger you can work on your character for yrs and still have tons to max ....congrats on them for finding a way to convert it to mobile play but that doesn't mean it should be put in comparison with a game like Frostborn. Just look at the two games you can see the clear difference. Yes Albion has intense pvp in vast numbers but the characters/graphics are so small it sometimes is very difficult to tell what is even happening especially in the larger battles. I think Frostborn clearly has more potential as you can see with the recent update there are sooo many good player friendly changes that can/are being made....Kefir has always been slow releasing content but is that such a bad thing long as its good?? Watching the videos from Frostborn a year ago to today are night an day in my opinion so its obvious the game has a ton of potential! Anyways i appreciate this video very much and as always it is very well done. :)
Hey JCF, I agree with a lot of what you said. Frostborn graphics are definitely better and I agree there’s more Frostborn potential simply because there’s less content, but a lot of the content in Albion is the stuff that people want in Frostborn. Of course I’d prefer a game where the content is already there. I disagree about the grind, I think the Albion grind is a lot better overall than Frostborn because there’s so many different ways to play the game. If you get bored with one aspect one day you can switch to another. Whereas Frostborn forces you to go to particular zones for particular gear that you farm or fight for over and over again. With Albion that same repetition exists but you have many more options which prevents things from becoming dull. I played Albion at launch some years ago but stopped after a few months because it was too inconvenient to play on the PC. The fact that this game is now on mobile without any sacrifices (unless you have poor eyesight) is amazing! There’s nothing else that comes anywhere close to Albion on mobile for these types of games. You’ve got the player driven economy, an insane amount of content, lots of interesting complexity as you advance, and many options to play the game solo vs in a group vs in a guild.
In my opinion, Frostborn is a little worse because the monsters are a little overpowered meaning if you don't have many friends over, it's difficult to clean dungeons. Sometimes it just becomes an endless cycle of grinding for gear, traveling to new places, getting camped by higher level players and losing everything. With Albion, the community is more friendlier

Honestly, risk adds to challenge... In life you have to take risks sometimes that can work out or go wrong... We don’t just give up on life cause the ‘risk’ in choices... Do we? If they take the risk out of the equation, the kill the thrill of one of the game’s challenges and kill the game- for me anyhow. Besides, games with ‘risk’ of losing your things/ stuff when dying are few to none. Frostborn is *imo* unique among games. (LDOE has that risk mostly only in the PVP area but it’s mostly a PvE game and so the risk in it is nearly non-existent thus I still say Frostborn is unique in that ‘Risk’.) And so, no risk is same old, same old... Frostborn is different, making it better in that regard. It’s like, if you are willing and or up to accepting the Challenge of Risk, play Frostborn! If it makes you squirm- Best to play something else. Frostborn doesn’t need to change at all in that area. Maybe they could add a ‘risk free’ zone where ppl can (learn) PvP, battling other players BUT don’t kill the challenge that makes it unique IMO.
I played Albion for 3 weekss and frostborn for 2 Years but u forget the trading system in Albion its Soo good and frostborn preventing players to trade and frostborn drops an obt update every month not weeks that's fault but on pvp frostborn win the rest goes to Albion
In Albion you choise what gear loose and when but in Frostborn you are forced to be online when raid hour start , else you loose all your staff and if 4 players atak your base and you play as solo or your "family" is not very active , just try guess ... soo clearly Albion win if you are not Korean and masochist .

for me it's albion.. pvp of bot sides are good but in terms of gear in frostborn its low chance to win if you wear a cheap build but in albion even your low tier you still have more chance in killing any hightier gear players ..
I play alone ... I enjoy Albion but it is hard to play alone .. frostborn and LDoE can be played alone .. I like that much better. Still NONE of these games have good looking female armor :( In Albion even the female character is very male looking lol 😆
Albion lacks design. Has good graphics, challenging battles and easy to get armour. Frostborn has great graphics even though you're using very low, but It is hard to get purple armour and other important items if you don't use real money or if you are a farmer and not an aggresive player.
Okay. I've played both games on mobile. And I think frostborn is more fun compared to Albion (personal opinion) because it's more fun with my friends than Albion playing with my friends because frostborn is more engaging. And there is a lot of potential for frostborn for adding content like Albion. it will make the game more awesome.
I think in long term FB will be better than Albion online so people need to understand that FB this is still in it early days so as times goes on frostbone will have more content but the game did not exist in a year yet so we'll wait in my opinion I think fb is the best mobile game right now
In my opinion grind goes for Albion rather than frostborn (no hate btw played two games) cuz the Albion has many ways of grinding including resource gathering to solo dungeon farm where as frostborn need to grind for base building, district levels, player levels , classes and for other pve contents too(green weapons for sanctuarys ) etc.. So Albion is easy grinding compared to frostborn.

Albion is very anti-solo at times, that's why I don't play it, frostborne is a grinding mayhem, but not as much as it's counterpart, I like frostborne more tho
Already burned out of albion sadly and been burned out like years ago already ! Pretty funny to see it come back to life because its on mobile ! That being said it remains a old game and obviously reached its potential. That 100% go to frostborn
Albion's only problem is their lack of SEA and EU servers... the one world server with its ping spikes are annoying AF stopped playing both these titles due to that reason... from South Africa

I love both games, but Frostborn got a bit boring atm and I cant belive I m saying this but I think all old Frostborn players should take a lil break... there's nothing exciting to do and as a max player you need something to keep you going.

Nothing can beat albion online atm as the best f2p mmo.
As a veteran who loved and hated Albion, I recommend the game. Low level crystals. The devs listen to players also, we have like the king arthur table players that devs listen to. Well that was my era in Albion 2 yrs ago.
What I only know was the game caters to casual and new players well.
The best in Albion are the shotcalls and comedic discord voice chats.
Just find the right guild for you.
Question. In Albion you get to choose when you want to pvp based on the content you want to explore. So it is very easy to stay in a pve environment and have fun. You can even make serious $$$ selling gear to the pvp people. So easier to grow and also play solo until you find a nice guild. From what i see, in Frostborn you can, and will very frequently, get attacked and lose a lot of your gathered reserves in your town. Well it used to be like that. Has it changed or are new players still food for the veterans?
I'm searching for a MMORPG the whole time and never found one. But i always come to Albion bc it's features are what I want . The sandbox, the pvp, the classes. But i tried it and don't know what i have to do. It's rly hard to get into it

Frostborn has so many MANY potentials the gameplay is smooth and clean and really good for mobile gaming the pvp there is perfect aswell not perfect but the play style just never gets so old the only rhing that kefir needs to do is to make more maps and make a huge map like albion im not saying copy them but thats the only choice for new content they should also put less grind to us f2p players cause you need tk spend a lot of time in this game to even advance and as i ca say it was rlly tiring and it eventually got to point where i was rlly bored and not all people are hard gamers so they would obv quit fast if they are f2p frostborn and albion i can say albion is better casue there is a lot of content i rlly like aswell that you dont need to do thr auto transfrom in map thsts what i like about albion it just never ends the content! In Multiplayer, Albion clearly won that, in the open world with 3 guilds and 100 players each, so 300 players can fight in the open world, and it's so fun to join those fights

I respect anyone's decision about albion being better but if you are up for the challenge of frostborn that "go home with nothing or go home rich". Losing your stuff in-game is a disadvantage of the game BUT also advantage for the player itself when it kills someone he/she can get the loot. Frostborn is full of adrenaline and risks when on pvp mode but its worth it if you succeeded
albion has tons of full loot pvp 1v1, 2v2, 5v5, GvG, free roam.
I think both games have more potencial because Albion's head dev said there is more room for improvement plus they can also add more islands or sea battles and etc etc

albion has this unique pvp system like one time a whole guild with lower level gears pk'ed a 4 man team with greater gear tier,but still the 4 man team rekt the guild even you can tell that guild consist of more than 50 players. Something like that where you gonna think a fight scene in fantasy/anime can be seen in albion.
That Is possible because Albion have so many are attacks
Albion has rmt, speedhackers, mega guild handholding, sensitive chat mods, silver dubing, packet sniffer third party programs so those players can find what dungeon your in and kill you when you come out, farming bots oh and players that steal the entire guild bank (videos of this on youtube players like krispy robinhood etc)

I bought a gaming tablet just to play games like frostborn and when I heard Albion online was in the works, I bought it as fast as I could. It's a huge 10 inch screen and is supposedly second best gaming tablet. Frostborn works just fine but Albion needs additional RAM in order to play. Unfortunate to say the least
U can play with a 2gb ram and it works just fine you just need to download it in the official site
But if you have 1gb of ram or less you can add more ram by using ROESOFT ram expender just search in youtube how to use that but you do need to root your device
@@Buxzy6613 if i remember right, the system requirements are 5G's of ram. My system only holds 3 i believe. I tried installing Albion multiple times. What ends up happening is i can't even log in because the system is being stretched past it's limit, just for the keyboard to pop up took solid minutes for the system to catch up. I hadn't seen lag like that since playing world of Warcraft on my Dell toaster oven in 2005.

If you have iphone 4+ is enough
If you have android you need 8+ for around 60 fps
well what i hate about frostborn that every time i do odin i fight the same bosses i got bored in the 3rd time from killing the same bosses and i have done odin like 100 time
For me the problem in albion is when you realize you are wasting time by not doing black zones dungeons, so you try to get there and get ganked 5 times in the same day by different groups of guys with claws... the option to choose to go "solo" or go "with friends" in frostborn at least makes me know that i'm the one who choose to get ganked by going with friends while being solo.
Both games are good, similar and different at the same time, if frostborn keeps what it already have of incredible and add some ideas from albion, then frostborn has the potential to be the perfect mmorpg
Albion isn't for everyone, one can not decide if you like it or not just by doing the tutorial. It took me 2 days to figure out how everything works, I love both my games and I still play both. Frostborn will be my no 1 game, because I love it and my team. Albion is still new to me, but I already love it, f2p in this game is awesome. The fact that you can sell your items and get silver immediately is awesome, to buy what you need with silver is pretty cool too! Although I like to farm and do the Destiny tasks to unlock content, I must say, Albion get a big round of applause from me!

I've played both games and I miss you since I've quit frostborn months ago and as for grinding in frostborn you do the same stuff over and over it gets boring real quick while in albion theres an insane amount of ways to get rich like I am shocked you choose how you want to grind theres pvp,pve,gathering,crafting,dungeon pvp,auction house trading each city has different prices the game has its own bloody stock market and you can even have your own island and have your own npc workers and the list goes on and that's just the grinding theres so many different types of pvp and pve content and as for players I've personally never seen so many players in any game I've ever played like it's mind blowing

I appreciate this video very much sir. Even though i am not happy Frostborn Yters are pushing potential new Frostborn players away from the game, i at least am thankful you gave Frostborn a fair review. My opinion is it is not fair to compare the two as they are not the same game at all really. Albion is a PC game.. its been out longer the platform it was built on is much bigger you can work on your character for yrs and still have tons to max ....congrats on them for finding a way to convert it to mobile play but that doesn't mean it should be put in comparison with a game like Frostborn. Just look at the two games you can see the clear difference. Yes Albion has intense pvp in vast numbers but the characters/graphics are so small it sometimes is very difficult to tell what is even happening especially in the larger battles. I think Frostborn clearly has more potential as you can see with the recent update there are sooo many good player friendly changes that can/are being made....Kefir has always been slow releasing content but is that such a bad thing long as its good?? Watching the videos from Frostborn a year ago to today are night an day in my opinion so its obvious the game has a ton of potential! Anyways i appreciate this video very much and as always it is very well done. :)
Hey JCF, I agree with a lot of what you said. Frostborn graphics are definitely better and I agree there’s more Frostborn potential simply because there’s less content, but a lot of the content in Albion is the stuff that people want in Frostborn. Of course I’d prefer a game where the content is already there.
I disagree about the grind, I think the Albion grind is a lot better overall than Frostborn because there’s so many different ways to play the game. If you get bored with one aspect one day you can switch to another. Whereas Frostborn forces you to go to particular zones for particular gear that you farm or fight for over and over again. With Albion that same repetition exists but you have many more options which prevents things from becoming dull.
I played Albion at launch some years ago but stopped after a few months because it was too inconvenient to play on the PC. The fact that this game is now on mobile without any sacrifices (unless you have poor eyesight) is amazing! There’s nothing else that comes anywhere close to Albion on mobile for these types of games. You’ve got the player driven economy, an insane amount of content, lots of interesting complexity as you advance, and many options to play the game solo vs in a group vs in a guild.

In my opinion, Frostborn is a little worse because the monsters are a little overpowered meaning if you don't have many friends over, it's difficult to clean dungeons. Sometimes it just becomes an endless cycle of grinding for gear, traveling to new places, getting camped by higher level players and losing everything. With Albion, the community is more friendlier
I think its not fair that comparing pc and mobile games. Definitely Albion clear win. Frostborn is very good for a mobile game. If I have a pc rn, i would play albion.

Honestly, risk adds to challenge... In life you have to take risks sometimes that can work out or go wrong... We don’t just give up on life cause the ‘risk’ in choices... Do we?
If they take the risk out of the equation, the kill the thrill of one of the game’s challenges and kill the game- for me anyhow.
Besides, games with ‘risk’ of losing your things/ stuff when dying are few to none. Frostborn is *imo* unique among games.
(LDOE has that risk mostly only in the PVP area but it’s mostly a PvE game and so the risk in it is nearly non-existent thus I still say Frostborn is unique in that ‘Risk’.)
And so, no risk is same old, same old... Frostborn is different, making it better in that regard.
It’s like, if you are willing and or up to accepting the Challenge of Risk, play Frostborn!
If it makes you squirm- Best to play something else.
Frostborn doesn’t need to change at all in that area.
Maybe they could add a ‘risk free’ zone where ppl can (learn) PvP, battling other players BUT don’t kill the challenge that makes it unique IMO.

In Albion you choise what gear loose and when but in Frostborn you are forced to be online when raid hour start , else you loose all your staff and if 4 players atak your base and you play as solo or your "family" is not very active , just try guess ... soo clearly Albion win if you are not Korean and masochist .

for me it's albion.. pvp of bot sides are good but in terms of gear in frostborn its low chance to win if you wear a cheap build but in albion even your low tier you still have more chance in killing any hightier gear players ..

Albion lacks design. Has good graphics, challenging battles and easy to get armour.
Frostborn has great graphics even though you're using very low, but It is hard to get purple armour and other important items if you don't use real money or if you are a farmer and not an aggresive player.

I've played both games on mobile. And I think frostborn is more fun compared to Albion (personal opinion) because it's more fun with my friends than Albion playing with my friends because frostborn is more engaging.

In my opinion grind goes for Albion rather than frostborn (no hate btw played two games) cuz the Albion has many ways of grinding including resource gathering to solo dungeon farm where as frostborn need to grind for base building, district levels, player levels , classes and for other pve contents too(green weapons for sanctuarys ) etc..
So Albion is easy grinding compared to frostborn.

Albion is fun at first but then starts to just repeat itself.. all the dungeons feel the same just levels are higher.

Albion's only problem is their lack of SEA and EU servers... the one world server with its ping spikes are annoying AF stopped playing both these titles due to that reason... from South Africa
