If we're just being logical: SHE writes the songs, now, so she knows where her limits are and how to tune the entire thing to her voice.

Wow, I've just watched and listened to The Exorcism for the 1st time.. I'm almost speechless! Charlotte's vocals are so powerful & strong, this is definitely a different sound, I can't compliment the song enough to do it justice. Fantastic.. so creative & original.. thankyou for making such wonderful music ❤🎶 I've now watched the video too so many times!! I love the video.. so much expression , feeling & emotion. I've enjoyed Charlotte's post-Delain music. Even joined the patreon for a little while. But this her first solo work that I personally feel is truly fantastic. It's pretty dark, but what a powerful, haunting song and what a cool vocals and visuals.

@@ahsanjubaid2799 Lyrics can always be up to interpretation, but I think it’s meant to be about the darkness within oneself, whether that’s anxiety, sadness, guilt, etc. Could also be in reference to a toxic person from one’s past. How does one move on? Can these parts of ourselves coexist? I don’t there’s one specific or “right” answer.

@@ahsanjubaid2799 From what I understood when the song was first released as a song of the month to her Patreon community the “You” who was here at 7 was self doubt from being an overweight and bullied child.
She’s unfortunately had other depression struggles through the years since her childhood that she’s had to overcome with professional help.
The song’s about exorcizing your inner demons.

So happy I watched music video premiere of The Exorcism before my work day ( xD ). I got to say, the production is very Nice! The costumes really in different styles really do fit the production. The performances are great, and so is Charlotte! Great job to the whole crew for working with Charlotte!

This is the proof that what people on the internet say is often b******t. This is not Delain 2.0 and Delain wouldn't sound as Delain if Martijn would've be the one who left. Glad that it went this way, because this sounds nothing like Delain. It's its own thing and that's okay
You know, I have rarely seen anyone saying that. However I've seen TONS upon TONS of people saying something along the lines of "This is the Proof all the people's statements are bullshit". It's almost like there was an army of Westerholt fans who were ready to defend him with a similar statement to yours and grew anxious to fire off that round when other people failed to give them the reason to. To me I think it's just more proof that Martijn fits the whole quote of "If You run into an asshole in the morning, you simply just ran into an asshole.
