You have such an eye for placing things and finding just the right balance.A real gift.Thank you for all of the time you spend with us.Love your work. And you!xxx
As I watched you creating this video, I heard you say something that has been an argument my mother and I had since I first started drawing & coloring in kindergarten(I’m now 68 y.o. & my Mother has passed away). You mentioned the comment “Less is more” that so many people use, especially my Mother as I was creating. She always said I was putting too much in my creations. I always told her. “No, less is no more!” I absolutely love your art and keep watching it to help me create more and better items. Thank you for the Inspiration!
I love this folding tag booklet! It is so interesting to watch and listen to your teaching the process on how you collage. Just lovely. Thank you so much.
Absolutely and utterly incredible and breathtakingly stunning. Andrea you are really really awesome and amazing. And I really really love 💕 what you’ve done with this. Especially in these days of uncertainty you give us light 💡 and inspiration to carry us through. Thank you so much xxx Mags
I was thinking it might make a lovely card for someone. Put birthday or wedding type words on it etc. If you put a ribbon on the front and the back you could stand it up in a circle and tie the ends so it doesnt come apart and stays in the circle. It would be a very unique card. Good way of displaying it regardless. Gorgeous.
Love this so much. I couldn’t stay to watch-that bird in the background rattled my nerves. I just came back from the doctors and a patient sat next to me and whistled for over an hour. So I’m bird whistled completely out today. I’ll comeback at a later date. Thank you-Kathleen 🌻
Amy Anna sorry about that that would do my head in too. Also the seagulls will always be there I live in a small fishing village but they are noisier this time of year because of their young. Luckily I actually don’t hear them 30 years of living here helped lol. X

I love this idea!!! You have done a beautiful job. I know I will be making some of these, also. Thanks so much for sharing. I used to get the Somerset magazines years ago. They are very nice magazines.
Aw andera it was a real joy and pleasure to watch this amazing project. Can i just say your beautiful creations is out off this world. Love it all just stunning Andera. Thankyou for sharing
STUNNING....so so pretty!!!Going to try this, its so lovely. Thanks for sharing your process. I really like the '0' before each number. You are right with letting things lie for a bit and go back in with fresh eyes. "Tim Holtz people, what ever they call them"...lol Yes losing one's self is a great place to be indeed!! Double tie closure is amazing!!! Joy's is awesome too!!
Just so beautiful! I love that you can take an idea, change it up to become your own and create something in your own style. These could be done in any themes. I like the idea of taking all of my favorite things and making one just for myself! Thank you for sharing your process and creativity.
Fantastic project ....AND WE WERE SHOUTING at you . I just got a bundle of used file folders from the op shop to use for my base and some old music paper and Ive got a box of small bits and bobs needing to be used . So lovely to hear the seagulls in the background
I had made an accordion folded length of scrapbook paper for a project, and I messed up the measurements. I was just looking at this folded paper and wandering what to do with it right before I started your video. And presto! you were holding my answer. What amazing timing. Thank you.
I absolutely loved this video Andrea! You have given me so much inspiration to try this on my own.i feel like this is a mini version of your beautiful junk journals. Thanks you so much for all your wonderful ideas! ❤️💗💜
Andrea you are so talented, I wish I lived I. The UK and would love to meet you. I love watching your videos. You are so encouraging to someone like me. Thank you I live in Louisiana. I am very close to New Orleans, where they have Madri Gras.
Hi dear Andrea! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color combinations and collages you incorporated into the journal you made in your video. I have been a subscriber of yours for some time now and I am beyond thrilled that you found inspiration from my journal and article in Somerset Studio. It has been so much fun to see other renditions of the slender journal on Facebook and TH-cam. Seeing the hinged versions like yours makes me want to create another one! ❤️
Sharon Hoerth Thank you so much it was a wonderful project and a fun one too. I’m making another this weekend ( 3 sides) for Junk in the Trunk with Amazon packaging . Your project has just endless possibilities and I love it. Thank you x
I love your version of this project! and I love your advice about looking at a project and creatively substituting what you have instead of feeling the need to go out and buy exactly what someone else used. 💗
Loverly shabby chic! Thinking -- biscuit/cracker/cereal boxes for the card. Old black and white bookmarks that I picked up free from the bookstore or library. I have bits of chemist prescription text tissue, used postage stamps, etc. When do you stitch the bits and bobs of paper together to make your college elements? Do you begin with larger pieces of paper and tear down or begin with snippet scraps? Didn't see any tea tags or tea envelope pockets. Do you use those?
Dolores J. Rush thank you.. I usually use up my bits and bobs at an end of a project, but I recently clear my bit box as was overflowing. Yes I do use tea tags etc. Just didn’t this time x
You do hear me talking and answering you when you move around and placing your emphemeras, right? 😉 Love this and learning so much following your video. I can't wait to get an ink printer! 😁❤️
Awesome!!! This is so cool, I just love it. For me personally, it would be such a personal challenge to keep it narrow. I always seem to add on flips and eventually its twice as wide as originally intended. My mind is racing with all the different idea's. Tfs
I just really loved this video. I'm going to make one of these. It will help me with collaging. It's hard for me to do that. I'm used to do everything perfect. I think this craft is so calming. You've helped me so much. Thank you Andrea. 🤗
I found the magazine with the mackerels on the outside of the cover. Which trip I had because it was over everywhere. I love the magazine and so much inspiration you get.
Update: I made one of these after watching the video. Last week I entered it in the craft exhibit at our local county fair and won a first place blue ribbon! Thanks for the inspiration. ❤
Andrea, I absolutely love this! Definitely will try making. And, you’ve inspired a subscription to Somerset Studio magazine. I so admire your talent, the inspiration you give me, and the gorgeous, generous free printables that you share. Thank you! 💖

It would make a great swap wouldn't it? I also love the sound of the gulls in the background and I understand when you live with them you learn to block the sound but it reminds me a wonderful times so bless you. I think we should have you on prescription as you are real tonic, so don't you go changing xxxxxx
