- I Played the most anticipated games coming to Quest this year on the Quest 3S, I want to share my experience and I think it will give you a reason to get excited because they were insane! a Standalone VR Miracle some would say. Some of the best games visually and most complex large scale interactivity yet. Game of the year....pick one

FYI that Behemoth and Metro is PCVR footage, I wasn’t able to have in headset capture on the demo day. But it looked great! 🎉

Asgards Wrath 2 is the only game that's kept my flame for standalone VR burning. Hope Oculus studios keeps pumping out more games made for the Quest 3. So tired of flat to VR ports, Party game roguelikes, and garbo PCVR ports.
I could not for the life of me get into Asgards Wrath 2 and I was really looking forward to it. They dumped me in the most boring barren desert right at the beginning and I almost immediately fell off

I pre-ordered my quest 3 so I’ve had it for a while now and the pancake lenses are definitely an upgrade. That being said with all of the noise about Fresnel lenses and the 3S it was honestly refreshing to hear somebody give a honest review about this headset without carrying on about pancake lenses. Since the announcement of the 3S the pancake lenses have been over exaggerated
Particularly in behemoth and metro, what were the most noticeable downgrades in terms of visuals and how drastic were they?

Really the old batman games had pretty basic beat em up combat, so I feel the combat here will be much more engaging even though thats what people were most worried about
I’ve been waiting a long time for Behemoth!!!!!!! I’ve been quite let down from most of the RPG’s on Meta but this is soooo different!!!!
Also, Batman looks sooo stunning also another game I can’t wait to come out!!!!! Thanks for letting us know they won’t be a let down like Hitman Steve!!!! Keep that good shit coming bruv!!!

Between Sony giving a big fat middle finger to PSVR owners with Astro Bot and Facebook dropping their price 150 bucks PLUS including Batman for free, the choice is clear. I'm fixin' to buy a Quest 3. With all these great games coming out, its gonna be the best Christmas season for VR yet!

What was the lighting like in Metro? Is it flat, bland lighting like in quest 2 games or does it have good baked lighting like with ps3?
For Metro, are you able to intract with most things in the environment? Thats what made half life alyx the best vr game of all time. it really felt like you were there.

I bought PSVR2 first then I've seen Meta quest and cancelled my psvr2 order and bought meta quest 3 512 gb instead. I like it is a standalone thing can be used without any wires, and batman is exclusive there plus it's included with purchase. I've been using it for 2 days(Star wars games and asgards wrath are awesome) and man those upcoming games will make me stop playing games on PS5 and Series X on a flat screen lol

Is the quest 3 game for behemoth and metro the same as quest 2 or is it enhanced
Will Batman be detective, puzzle and story driven like the first small Batman VR we played? Or is this Batman strictly just action? I loved the first Batman VR.
The developers said it mirrors the gameplay pillars of the first Arkham Asylum game.
It seems to have elements of all that but definitely more focused on the action.the first Batman VR was cool but it was more of a tech demo than an actual game.this game will be closest related to Batman Arkham Asylum.the level design will be quite linear but it will leave a little room for exploration and taking out enemies in different ways

The games do sound great, but will they be finished when they’re released, or will they be the usual buggy mess that require weeks or months of post release updates to get them fixed up?
Skydance still hasn’t finished development on Saints & Sinners Retribution for Quest. It’s like a buggy beta test even after all this time.
How did Behemoth and Metro compare to Red matter 2 graphics wise?
Red matter is a league of its own I think with most games, the visual demand for the art style chosen is tough so for standalone its impressive

yh a downgrade but it was like top end quest for the scale of play. ive asked if i can get access from vertigo to show you guys the title early
What facial interface are you using in this video?
fitness interface for the 2S. it has translucent light bleed but great heat dissipation
Are the quest 3S lens the same size and shape as the quest 2, as I have prescription lens for the quest 2 will I need to buy a new set or are the old ones still good?
It looks the same hardware as Q2 like they have reused a lot of stuff, but I can’t say 100% with the info I have

I have the Quest 3 and I love it but I’m definitely curious to see how much of an upgrade the Quest 4 will be over Quest 3..I can’t lie though,I’m very impressed with what Meta has been able to accomplish with the Quest 3.my first headset was PSVR1 and it’s amazing to see how much better the standalone Quest 3 is than PSVR1 which I had running on a PS4 Pro

Get the one that attaches to the headset and goes on your head. That one works well!
BoboVr my friend, they do the best head straps with extra battery power.

I Tried Behemoth on gamescom with a quest 3 and did not like it, the physics were janky ,and fps was low fighting the big giant Monster with adds..I wait for reviews for Pcvr and psvr2
Looking forward to Batman and Metro, but Behemoth is just The Climb, but instead of climbing cliffs you climb big giant moving beasts, and then having to keep an eye on your stamina all the time sounds like a pain to me.

Stop buying Fresnel headsets. They are completely out of date and put unnecessary strain on your eyes. Please think about your health and if you care about money then buy second hand Pancake Quest 3 but please don't use this outdated technology anymore - you will thank me for it. You shouldn't even consider something like this for your children. Their eyes are developing there, the Fresnel technology is so poor in clarity that they are a clear strain on the eyes and development. As a VR enthusiast, I tell you this from the heart. Meta made a mistake in saving money on the lenses.

One of these games is not like the other lol. I love skydance interactive but to put it up there with the batman IP and Metro IP is a big stretch to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm 99 percent the game will be good but AAA? No, I guarantee it won't be on the level of what I and most would consider a AAA title. Now if we're talking a "vr" AAA then I would agree....on the level of vr games next to most of the garbage out there it will look like an AAA game.
im pretty sure its gonna be the best out of the 3, and batman is probably the only one of the 3 that doesnt look like triple aaa. The fighting mostly look like following instruction and theres kinda only 1 set path to follow, doubt it will have much replay value, unlike the other 2

@@gyorgyboszormenyi9078 To actually try it first? Everyone is so quick to look at footage and say it's going to be the best game in the world. Simple fact is all vr games are lacking when it comes to AAA quality with the exception of actual AAA games like Resident Evil 8 etc...I'm just going by history and common sense. People say asgards wrath 1 and 2 were AAA, but as good as they were they were both lacking in actual gameplay and very pretty barren worlds. I'm also coming from a gamers perspective, not a vr gamers perspective. Two completely different things imo.
