Mai ICSE 10th mein hoon, aur humara isi class mein itne lengthy answers hote hai ki puccho mat. So, 11th ka kya hota hoga woh sochna bhi paap hai, at least ISC board ka arts toh science se kaafi zyada difficult hai. I don't know about CBSE.

For UPSC Humanities is the best choice but science wale yah commerce wale bhi eligible hotein hain they can change stream to humanities.

Moreover science and comm... are great pics because you can join mostly anyfield after them. And to be honest date se jyda reactions hoti chemistry m agr sari karo to(not saying any of them is easy but if you have selected a field and sure what you have to do then streams doesnt matter much .

So I took Arts & Humanities in my 12th. There were only two schools offering Arts stream, the other one was an all girls school. In my class there were 25 students and out of those only 7 were boys.
11 years later...
3 of those(including me) are successful lawyers.
1 of them is a Film Writer & Director.
1 of them is a Musician in LA.
1 has cleared UPSC.
The one remaining is doing PHD in Ancient History from JNU...
Thanks and kudos to CISCE board as they had Arts stream.

I am a science student but I know that arts is not easy. People have that thought that only average or lower students take arts.All streams and subjects are equal. Science=Arts= Commerce. One can become IAS by taking Arts .

S. Jaishankar sir (Minister of External Affairs) who has done MA in Political Science and Phd in International relations has followed his passion and opted for Humanities. Thanks to Divine, Sir hasn't taken anyother stream or else India wouldn't have received an amazing diplomat, civil servant, intellect and legendary foreign Minister. Each and every stream has its own worth and respect. Such superficial thoughts needs to be discarded from our society's mentality.
