Great video, Vanessa! It's also fantastic that you showed the customer thanking the waiter, which is the expected behaviour in most English-speaking countries. I say this, because in some cultures, they don't really treat the waiter/waitress very politely...

Thank you so much for the useful content. Even thoughI rarely eat in restaurants, it is very useful the time that I go to restaurant. I usually feel shy before going because of my English, and I feel afraid of being akward when I don't understand. For example, the menu or the waiter while taking to me. You make it easier for me !!!

Thanks! We not often eat out. We do it mostly in cafe and more often on vacation and busines trip. But we also eat out oftener than early. When we lived in the USSR we ate in restaurants very rare. I suppose that the most difficult English words will be names of dishes. But you intrigued me by mention of a pen and a notebook.
